Stuck at "Loaded update list" when loading Runescape?
I don't really have any advice, aside from posting on the RSOF if you haven't done so.. unless of course you are f2p, then I can just suggest scanning the RSOF for people with similar problems while you wait for an answer here.

Bank Tabs Ideas
Well, since I was so used to the order that I had setup for the past 2-3 years, I kept it all in one tab, with one exception. I created a tab for the Uri's Emote armour/weps/etc that I would not normally use and would possibly mistake for junk.

Which would be better
Berserker Helmet and the Rune defender in my opinion. The helmet doesn't make as much of a difference, but you'll hit a bit higher because of it. I would definitely suggest the rune defender because of its attack bonus. Some even argue that the rune defender is the best item for the shield slot. I personally agree, but the DFS has its uses. I don't have any experience with the sigil shields to compare. I hope this helps. :

Need some advice after 95 slayer
I need to leave shortly so I won't label the method for training. If you want further advice on the methods just hop into the clan chat "Forsakenmage" and I would be happy to help at a later time. For now I will just give the goal outlines and a brief reason why. I would suggest getting each of these stats to the 80-85 range, depending on the time you wish to put into them. With the particular stats outlined that should not take a whole lot of effort, but then again I don't know of the times you play or money you are willing to invest into the skills. I just feel that around level 80-85 most abilities for a stat are unlocked or the speed of gathering at that level is increased noticably. That is just my opinion, but maybe you share it as well. The stats I personally would likely not get to this level range would be Runecrafting, just because I find it slow and don't particularly care for it. I would just get Runecrafting to 75 for starters, then try a few runs with the giant pouch and decide whether or not to continue. I can't say a whole lot about training your summoning because once you stop slaying your charm count will not grow unless you train another combat stat such as your remaining range. There is definitely not much of a difference from 95 to 99 range aside from a cape. If you have a thing for the capes, then it would likely be something you are interested in training. If you don't, it is just fine left as it is for the time being. However, even though you say you will probably not train it for a while, I would suggest getting 85-90 prayer. It isn't as costly as if you went straight to 99 as it is under half of the experience to gain, and at the suggested level range you could benefit from it a worthy amount. The stats that you listed that you wish to get to a higher level are in my opinion low for your combat level, but if you don't enjoy them then I can perfectly understand why you would not train them. Generally around half of these stats are buyable, and will not take too much out of your 120M that you have to spend. Cooking will not even need to have money thrown at it if you cook the fish that you catch for your fishing levels. Crafting if trained with something such as coif crafting and morphic needles will cost a rough 3-4M to 80, and possibly double that for 85. If you own an item such as a godsword which you can lend out for a decent amount of money while skilling, then you can lend these coifs for that cash value and cut the costs in half. Smithing will cost a decent amount of money, but once again if used with the morphic hammer the cost can be reduced by an amount worthy of the time it takes to get the item (in my opinion). Mining will take a while and you may find it boring, so I would suggest not only to mine ores such as granite and drop them (which I don't care to do myself), but rather hunt down meteors and gain experience and cash from them. Even if you have traded in your limit of stardust for the day, you can continue mining for decent experience with no banking or dropping necessary. I won't get into the other stats as I have to go, but my offer still stands to talk in the clan chat. I can't add you to my friends list to talk as it has been overflowing for almost a year now, but whenever I am online, I am in the clan chat. Best of luck, and enjoy yourself. :

confused by death
Sorry to hear about the loss, but as the other poster said it was likely a random. I know that on one or two occasions my account did not log out properly as well. Although, both times I did not encounter a random, but remember my friend telling me that after I said my good-bye's that I was still logged in, but would not reply. Best of luck making your losses back.

Tip.It Times Presents: Double Feature!
I definitely agreed with the second article, although I really love the clan chat system and wouldn't give it up. The first was well written, but I don't entirely share the views, aside from possibly the teleblocking in f2p pvp.. Although, when I think about that I realize that kills would be far too easy then. Well written articles, thanks for your views. :

Locations for penguins (for exp)
Just as well, the clan chat "Riods2525" is a W60 penguin hunting chat. Provided you don't g into it on Wednesday (since it will be full), you can find all the penguins in around 15 minutes, or faster if you can get to the areas at a faster rate. \

Worlds 111 and 112.
I don't really notice lag in these worlds, but I do lag quite badly in W12. I'm just happy that W99 works well for myself. :

Runescape 'Everests'
I think it'd be interesting to be the first player to achieve 99 hitpoints at 25 combat. Even more interesting if that cape was untrimmed. This would be similar to a level 3 with an untrimmed slayer cape or a lvl 3/15 with a untrimmed summoning cape. Two other cool ones would be 99 def/hp at 50 combat or 99 hp/pray/summon at 50 combat. \

21 questions
Yeah, it happens often, but often when I play Runescape I don't really even train anything and just talk in clan chat. Provided I am paying attention to someone asking me the questions in public I will often answer. I do agree, though, it can be a nuisance if you are attempting to train a stat or are doing something that requires your attention. This is a method a lot of pkers do to catch their opponent off-guard whilst they type because believe it or not, not everyone can type without looking at the keys.. or their hands will just be on the keys and they won't be fast enough to eat. Some pkers like to spam and call people names, but the more mature ones ask questions during the fight and the smart opponents often don't reply. By the way, nice siggy, Jrd. \

Snow & Snow Days
You better be talking about Kamelot here. Going to see my first snow (hopefully) in Canadia (Montrael,Quebec) this December-early January. I can assure you that you will see some snow. \ If we're still doing the weather updates, it is about -22C here in Manitoba, sunny, and lightly snowing. :

Tip it is Cliquey - Share you thoughts/Experiences
I understand what you are saying, and agree to some extent. Like most communities, cliques are formed and not everyone is as mature as they could be. Sometimes it really can't be helped, but other times it can. Those who choose to act like idiots shall be considered as such, and those who don't, will not be.

Snow & Snow Days
About 6 inches sitting on the ground right now in Manitoba. Lake Manitoba is also frozen over. I've gone ice fishing since it's frozen to make sure. It usually starts snowing here around Halloween and the lake is usually frozen by this time as well. Some more snow and the ski-doo can come out and play. \

Bronze vs Iron
Sell the bars and buy bronze knives. You lose more bronze knives than iron, but at such a low cost it really doesn't matter. \

Thinking of starting again, need a few question answered
My pure still works well in PvP. Just the same, you can use your current account that you got defence on for pking. I would simply make it a range tank. You could get the following stats and still own mid-bh and PvP. Att/Str- Total of 148 or so. Defence- 90 Range- 99 Mage- 99 Pray- 44 Sum- 99 (doesn't add in pvp worlds unless used) HP- 99 Combat Lvl: 100

Strength Vs Attack
I personally got 99 strength first, and it made 99 attack almost effortless due to the speed advantage of the higher hits. When you are training you generally train on a monster with low defence, so the benefits of attack aren't often seen on such monsters. However, when you are training slayer and get a task such as steel dragons, you will definitely notice the benefit of a higher attack level. If I was to do it all again, I would use my same method. This method was having strength +5 levels over attack. I stuck to this method until about 80 attack, in which I just went straight to 99 with strength. If I was to make an account more-so for pking than 99 stats, I would simply get 90 in both rather than 90 in one and 99 in the other. It is less than half of the xp/time put in, and there is not a big difference between 90 and 99 in a stat aside from the skill cape and recognition. As for your thoughts on your training style depleting the damage you caused per turn it is true, but unless the other character had better bonuses than you, I find it hard to believe that being double his attack and higher strength that he would get kills faster. Although, you were both training on moss giants, which have almost no defence, so as I said earlier, the benefits of a higher attack level would generally not be seen. If you were to both go train on a monster with higher defence, you would definitely get kills faster. I believe the difference between damage given on the attack styles is +1 damage for the aggressive style. I am unsure how the others compare.

65-> 70 Crafting/ Smithing?
Crafting I'll just suggest the method I am currently using for 70-80 crafting. Simply buy soft leather and make coifs while using the morphic needle. This will give you 52xp per coif rather than the original 38xp. This means you gain an extra 14xp per coif, which generally cuts out 1/3 of the original time/cost. I consider it a reasonable method to train crafting. However, if you want to be much cheaper you can tan or collect your own hides, or as Cowmaster said, even bowstring crafting. I consider these methods slow, though. Smithing Since I also plan to train smithing from 70-80 I'll just explain the method I plan to use for that as well. I plan to superheat iron ores and then sell the bars. I chose this method because it is relatively fast, and it gives me magic experience on the side. If you want less loss than this, you could smelt steel bars into cannonballs, or mine your own gold and with goldsmith gauntlets either superheat or smelt these. Although, I consider both of those method too slow for comfort. If you want a faster method, but more costly you could smith mithril/adamant bolts from the bars while using a morphic hammer. I believe with mithril bar smithing you gain an extra 30.5xp per bar, and if that is correct, I would imagine a similar gain on adamantite bars. I hope this helps in your decision. :

SC Morphic Items - Your Results ~Update- List of Info Page1~
Well, I am currently crafting coifs with the morphic needle. It gives +14xp per coif (38 being regular and 52 being current). Once I switch to another skill I'll be sure to let you know.

O it's a ruby-WAIT WHAT
Very nice. Your pure has now put to shame a few hundred thousand accounts who have tried but haven't succeeded in just that. \
