  1. More like they want to avoid people making billions of accounts for macroing. Not sure. But they should rather wipe the banks/stats all together/what has been macroed!
  2. I was about to say that the most 'Uncommen' thing in RuneScape is proper English grammar & spelling. Hell, I was beat to it. At any rate, your argument is invalid even about friendly players. There are what now, over 5-6 million players there? Even if we assume that one in 50 players is a friendly player, which I have no doubt is less than there actually are, I'm sure there are way less crackers, or likely any rares. And lets not talk about those rares that are owned by players who do not play. In effect, they do not exist. After all, a JMod can spawn themself 2.147 BILLIONS of each rare. Hell, twice that, since they can bank 'em. It does not however mean they effectively exist in-game. Anyway, I'm rambling. Edit: Dzihouhanahanshahsahfdf, I honestly doubt you max your xp/hr on Dungeoneering to mere 40k/hr.
  3. Probably still whatever was before dungeoneering. Majority of F2Pers will have hard time getting their dungeoneering up because of P2P skills and lack of difficulty, and the cost/10hrs is likely too much for most F2Pers.
  4. You do realise you're playing RuneScape when you're complaining about not liking something's graphics, right?
  5. Sir? You read something wrong. Personally, the VERY FEW defense bonus on slash and stab is not worth it to lose out on greater crush and ranged defense, as well as +4 str. With 99 def the very few bonuses won't matter nearly as much as the +4 str. And the ranged def difference is great as well.
  6. Haha, yeah. And you can't really ignore them, can you? They'll just come up to you IRL and ask you WTF was that about, leading to some misunderstandings, awkwardness and such.
  7. As long as they get bug abusers (original ones, not copy cats) on the job, I'll be happy. I mean, come on, who better to figure out new bugs than the people who've done it before? :P More seriously though, NDA or not, there would be leaks. I have no clue how would they manage to control the leaks and such. It would affect economy greatly, in a way that some people would benefit from things way more than others. Even if beta-testers were to sign NDAs, they themselves would be able to gain advantage of their status by stocking up on supplies with no consequences. Jagex doesn't want that. They won't do this.
  8. In spite of having it to On now (Purely because I completely wiped my friends list and people don't know me anyway anymore :P Plus, times have moved on and what used to be impressive isn't anymore), I will defend having it on friends. Point 1: I do not care for other people. No one should. Want some help? There's a search box at the top of your screen! Want me to re-add you? Well, there must have been a good reason for me to delete you in the first place! Anything else? Go bother someone else! Point 2: This game is not based on chat. I will not gain anything from chatting with every third person. I have my friends, I don't need or want to make new. If I will, I'll make sure to inform you. Point 3: When you wrote the topic's title, what exactly were you thinking when you were writing the words "Private chat" and then proceeding to explain that it should be a public chat for long distances? P R I V A T E. This may sound negative, but hell, you just called a great number of people lame and arrogant. Back off, dude.
  9. If one were to acquire permissions from all the credited people, would they be allowed to use the guides then? :P
  10. As soon as you stop being a pest to other players you may leave "noob-dom". Asking dumb, easy, unrelated and such questions, even worse if frequently for no other reasons than too lazy to open up KBase/Fansite can be a factor. Being very annoying through many means, such as, killstealing, stealing training/slayer and such spots, crashing monster hunts, crashing events in general for no other reason than to be an annoyance/laziness can be a factor. Being very unsuccessful in a game for no other reason than your own dumbness/laziness can be a factor. Generally, no one would go about calling other people noobs, save for noobs themselves. Personally, I don't mind a level 50 player walking around, minding their own business. As soon as they start pestering me about whatever comes in their minds, first thing that shoots in mine is the word "noob". Some questions to help them out don't trigger that, for example, best training spots and such, but things like "wear can i buy ur cape", "wow u r rally good (Yeah, oh, you've got something on your nose, it's brown.)" do. And then there are playful noob-callings which I don't mind. :P
  11. Again, I've never tried teleporting out of the boss, but what the Mod's post suggests is that you can't teleport out of the monster at all. Oh, and mind you, it was only said about the icefiend, not others, but for clarity's sake it'd be nice to know about others too.
  12. You'll lose out on a tiny bit of str/attack bonus, but you will be getting a big +10% attack bonus. Call me crazy, but on high defense monsters like metal dragons more attacks outweigh +12 str. Defense bonus is meaningless because of prayer. I'm sorry, yes, Ferocious ring is what you should be using, I'm really stuck in the past. :P And 15% exp is still 15% exp. Since you are considering these, you presumably are not going for hardcore exp, so 15% is a nice boost eventhough you still will be getting less XP/Hr than on some easier tasks. Switch the fury with glory and fire cape with Soul Wars / Ardougne cape!
  13. Go with melee. I'll give you my set-up (no inventory, figure it yourself as it varies per stats/style): Proselyte top/bottom Slayer helm Whip/Antifire shield (DFS if you have) D boots Fury Fire cape Dragon Slayer Gloves (FOG - A MUST have for serious slayers) Zerker ring (Can switch to wealth if you wish) Have fun.
  14. Thanks a lot! A happy birthday wish is what I expected least of all! :) Nice to see people keep tabs on such things and wish happy birthdays to others :)

  15. Thank you! I did not expect a happy birthday wish from Tip It! But this is wonderful :)

  16. After talking to Serp in game, he asked me to rather post here, so I will! After noticing this reply, in particular that exact part of it, I remembered a JMod's post, quite sure it was the guy who was the main developer for it. He posted something about how other JMods kept teleporting out of the Ice Fiend's special attack (where he is unhittable and throws heat-seeking ice missiles at you) so he made it impossible to teleport out of there. I've not tested this myself, but I thought this is something worth bringing attention to! I wouldn't be surprised if this was done on some other bosses as well. If clarified, approved and worth credited, read my sig! <3
  17. Not even close to impossible lol. Solo arma is what, 6M an hour with Steel Titan? That's a phat in 100-150 hours. Read more. He was talking about 99 slayer from 67 in a month.
  18. Yes, but macros can still be used currently for the limited hotkeys that we do have. If Jagex ends up extending hotkeys like the OP suggests, they will put a global cooldown on hotkey usage, like every game does. Therefore, having macros that do many things at once will be rendered useless. Never had such experiences on LOTRO..Could use hotkeys as much as I could, provided item didn't have a CD. Get your facts right.
  19. 88 Herb 92 Prayer (SS) 88 Summ (Uni) 95 Herb (OL) 95 Prayer (Turmoil) 96 Summ (Yak) 80 Dungeon (Chaotic) 99 Summ (Steel Titan) 91/92 Herb (X Range / Mage / OL) Herblore is most definitely the most important, along with prayer. There's no point in having anything whatsoever if you can not boost it up, since your opponent is going to boost you over. It's a bit sad though. Why? Because I now have to train 'em all :P
  20. What you guys should do is to change the locked topic image a tad bit :P it looks a lot like unreplied topic image, causes some confusion occasionally ;p
  21. Next time read the numerous posts already made before you make your own. Jad, really? The original poster wanted to boss hunt for profit. How much are furies these days? 10m? Depending on how much you spend to kill it, could very well be profitable.
  22. It isn't anymore, but it's very low loss. Remember that magic is not something you'll be making profit from, best you can do is either cut as much loss as you can. Just look around the items on GE and compare them to the alch prices. There are items such as rune chains, rune helms that people would often be selling rather than alching. Just leave the offers up for such items even if you don't get them immediately!
  23. You really should get the V3 armour though, it's definitely worth it. None of the requirements are seriously hard anyway!
  24. Hehe, you should try Fallen Earth for that. It's absolutely slow, grindy (just like RS..Just slower) and has real-time combat :P I'd play it myself but after years on RS, I just don't feel like starting something similar all over again. Also it wouldn't remove the skill, there's not much skill in clicking appropriately anyway, it'd just allow hybriding on laggier PCs.
  25. Well d'oh, of course it would make RS easier, that's the whole idea behind the hotkeys. And at any rate, you mention it as if implying that Jagex wouldn't do it just because it makes RS easy/easier. Lol'd.
