They would probably peak around 5.5-6k and then fall sharply back to around this level I would assume, that is assuming hat it would be truly useful update though. I just hoarded up bones for 90(hoping for not much past level 90) and will either use them or resell them depending on the update...

Absolutely no way in hell to a free 99. I see what you are saying about the massive amount of xp that you can get in COMBAT from killing the champions, but you would be hard pressed to find anyone who would say that runecrafting or mining(well not so much any more) xp is of the same "worth" as combat xp. Also, adding any useful rewar for the challenges would promote camping and undesirable monsters for hours on end, this does not seem to follow with what Jagex usually approves of. The current semi-useless rewards seem to fit much better with the tone of this mini game. EDIT: I completely agree with everything that Ravian posted a bit further up on the page.

I've had the exact same basic character design since I created mya ccount...so personally I would preferr a bit less emphasis on something so trivial. Then again I suppose some people do actually care about this...

Dwarven stout and the mature version have been omitted from the "Smithing Aids" section of the guide.

I would suggest that you just go for mith plates and then addy plates with sc hammers for it all, but I would have to check the price of that...

In a 4+ man team, meleeing is generally more effective, as you can kill her quicker and if you have a unicorn (don't have much experience with other methods) not need any food at all. I've lasted in a trio team for around 50 kills before, but then I ran out of brews (only brought 2) so I had to tele. So for 3 man or less, ranging is probably more effective as you could probably get more kills. In 4+ man teams, melee is more effective from my experience. As for you Joe, I'd agree with intervention. Since you only have a titan, guthans would probably be needed. I use no prayer pots with verac's armour and a zamorak godsword, so with guthans you would most likely need prayer potions. You might also want to consider using a fruit bat, but I'm not too sure on how effective it is now that they removed the spamming of fruit bat's ablity. I agree with every thing that the above poster said, but make sure to also bring a super restore to refill summoning, and I did not have any problems with prayer in just bandos+neitz/fury so verac top/bottom most likely is not necessary to go without using prayer pots.

Actually, they are useless, for the most part. Extreme Attack, Strength, Defense, and Range face the same problem that Super Attack, Strength, Defense, and Mage do - they get negated by Saradomin Brews. There is a very simple solution to the problem that is seen with brews...do not use them. It is not hard to go without them down to trioing at arma, duo at sara, or bandos(don't really go enough in small teams to know). Hyrbiding with a partner or maging at dks, again, brews are not a problem at all. I do not think that it is too much of a stretch to assume that someone with the herblore level to use these potions, and the inention to go monster hunting often would not take the time to get 88 summoning and finish whatever menial tasks were requiredin the falador or seers...or whatever it was, diary. I just assumed that a few people in the teams were bringing along boost potions with me, but perhaps I've been wrong about that

Do the staggered prices updates for 3rd age and such apply for price decreases as well?

These two interested me. Does this mean that we can have duplicate EE's now? If so, awesome. did that kill off that whole spam clicking trick with bats? If so :( arma trips might be a bit shorter if the kiddies with bats can't keep up...

Obviously people will realize that this update has barely done anything to curb the inflation from tricking, the real question is how long will it take for people to realize this and how much am I going to lose in that time...

That does not look very "Jagexy" in my opinion, but it would be ncie if it is at elast partailly real. The time played and automatic drop log seem especially nice...don't see the need to have it stalking your friends though :ohnoes:

infinite bolts is a bit broken >_< nothing wrong with a bolt pouch, you know of those right? you load bolts into the bolt pouch and equip the bolt pouch ANYWHOO I'm pretty sure jagex isnt making a bolt diary as much as I would love to see one ='( You can't equip bolt pouches, they stay in your inventory, and they can only hold a total of 1020 bolts, so...not really related. Infinite ammo would be obviously overpowered though, I mean honestly...

Noooooo why did they have to throw in that 91 smithign req...all of the other skills are at least useful around thos elevels, but now I'll end up trainign smithign jsut for this...actually on second though, 200k xp and a teleport to a path that I never use are not very useful for me... I really am disappointed in the elite level rewards hoenstly, am I the only one who is? I also suppose this update slaps my dreams of an achievement cape to trim the quest one in the face...

I went and talked to the head guy right after talking to the gnome; was that enough to save him? He said he would "think about it."

Wrong. Personally I recorded an average of 57.2k mining xp per hour with the gold at level 80. Granted, that is with the use of a dragon pickaxe and pak yak, but I seriously doubt that either of those could create a jump from 25k to 57k xp in an hour. Also 70k+? For who? I know that I personally will never be mining and dropping that fast, and I'm fairly certain that that follows for most people. The gold trees on the other hand require minimal attention to achieve maximum efficiency. Also, that 57kish xp per hour comes along with over 400k in profit(for now). So if you would prefer to gain 13kish xp per hour at the expense of your hand and around 400k coins, then yes by all means mine granite all the way.

You can value at a general store, and then multiply by...1.5? Well you could...not sure how the update affected prices.

Well they trained up their levels do beat out people who hadn't done so yet ;) In any case, I hope that several mroe of these massacres go on and hopefully flood the ge so that I can get oen to keep forever...and 2 more to resell before they crash :thumbsup:

I was just loitering around examining things among the chaos and got rol'd from full hp in around 6 seconds or so before I knew I was being hit...I was in bandos with a dfs as well so I suppose that says something for their accuracy? or maybe I just had a lot of bad luck.
