  1. You can't really give a number as exact as 133 straight off, but if you don't feel like doing the 100 test just get a average hit (I'm not very familiar with the max hits and accuracy of red chins), times that by the average number of monsters you will hit, times that by 3 (Or is it 4 exp per dmg? Can't remember :-w ) then get the exp you need for 94-99 (using an exp table) and divide it by the number you got with those first calculations. There's an educated guess as accuarte is it's going to get. If you've had experience using chins before you might not even have to go down there and do those tests, just estimate and you'll have a faint idea. From personal expierence, yes I can. 133 is very accurate. Even Apathy's guide said 133, she was one of the first to releas the info on red chins and where to use them. Yes, not every chin is 133, but averaged over a few hundred it is very accurate. Until you can give me facts to prove it wrong, don't quote me saying I am wrong.
  2. at the ape atol skelles, I *think* one red chin is 133 exp. but with void range that is probably higher. Take about 100, record the start range exp, use all 100, record the end exp and do the math to get a better number.
  3. What is it with all the threads saying "omg i found a way to rwt! haha jagex is stupid!!"..... It's like you are proud to find a way to still break rules. RWT will never be 100% gone. We all know this, stop pointing out ways .000000001% of the rs players will use to transfer items. RWT is, for the msot part, over.
  4. Try emerald (e) bolts, poisoning 4-5 avansie. After doing 50+ trips in 6 days, that is the fastest way.
  5. I love my sgs. I can get through nearly EVERY slayer task with no food. I have yet to try black demons with high melee def, no pray, and sgs. But I think this task could also be done with no food, or may just a few sharks. The prayer part is not that great. If I decide to pray mage for a full spector task I only use 4-6 p pots instead of like 20. But if you use 2 prayers, forget it, the pray heal is minimal. I have not used it at barrows, as barrows is pretty much dead for cash. Why would a none slayer/none monster killer want an ags except for the rare kick of hitting a 60+? So what, you hit a 60 on one monster, how does that help for the rest? It does not. I even sold my guthans, as my SGS works better. Info on the sgs spec- Uses half the bar. The hp spec heals for half the damage done, with the least hp it can heal being a 10. Example= you hit a one with the spec, you heal a 10. You hit a 19, heal a 10. hit a 50, heal for 25. Hit for a 0, heal 0. The spec does not depend on the opponets hp. If you use the spec on a monster with 1hp, but the random number generator would have hit a 50 (if the monster had the hp it would have hit 50) you still heal as if a 50 was hit. The prayer heals for 1/4 the damage done. Small, and prayer drains fast, making it minimal :( Hope this helps :P
  6. Personally, after I report a post, I don't want to go back and read it again. The options after reporting a post are return to the thread or return to the forum index. I think it would be helpful to be able to click "return to the forum" instead of return to the thread, but in addition to return to the index. After I report a post, that is usually what I want to do. Instead I go back to the index then back to the forum. Yea, just a few extra clicks, but annoying. Call me lazy if you want, I think it would be helpful :P
  7. Currently the forum rules say- That is under the sig part of the forum rules. Link- http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=480329 But recently this was changed to say- Link- http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=722715 The rules page should be updated to agree with this.
  8. The godsword section of the combat guide has a mis type. There are 4 hilts, not 3. Link- http://www.tip.it/runescape/?page=comba ... .htm#other
  9. 9 days, 350+ arma kills, still no damn hilt.....I am even starting to get multiples of the armour drops. Then you go and solo a few times and get one...... :XD: Grats on the drop.
  10. I have to agree. It's a risky game, but then again you are looking to make 50m+ gps. If you are not willing to lose it, don't take it. Personally, I am willing to risk a few million in gear to eventually make 50-70m gps. The thing I do think should be changed is dieg on a disconnect. Dieing because you were not expierenced enough to eat, pray correctly, etc. is fine. Your fault, learn from it and prepare better next time. But dieing because you lost the connection is very hard to control. I think gravestones not be effected by logging out/disconnecting.
  11. The only problem i see with that is the lending of armour/gear. Want to go to a dangerous area and not risk items? Lend each other your armour and if you die, it just goes to your collection box. They could just not allow lended items to be taken to high risk areas/bosses. There are still problems with the proposed lootshare update as well. For a while now, a partner and I have been doing god wars nearly every day. Our goals are sara god sword for me, and an armadyl one for my partner. We got the sara hilt first, but with the future loot share, that item would be sold and split between us. Now what? Spend another week there and hope to get a second hilt so I can just buy one? That was not even the point in the first place. We do it for the fun of getting ourselves the two most expensive god swords with out involving a single penny. Instead, we both would get half the gps from the drop, when we did not want any profit from it at all. Basically, what if we are monster killing with the intent of getting the items for ourselves for free? Thousands of players do this; a solution is needed here as well. I really hope they develop a way to just give away items and money. This is one of the best parts of the game, spending my time helping others get what they don̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t have. A younger friend I have known for some time just got 70 attack, spending a week training to get it. I bought him a whip as a gift. Here is a second scenario- The bandos boss is killed using a "tank". This person takes all the hits from the boss, while the others attack him. During the trip, the tank is given extra food and pots by the team. 30k gps may still not be enough to get around that. Thanks to bots and those that support them (by purchasing the gps), free trade has pretty much been eliminated from the game.
  12. Some may find other equipment works better depending on combat level and combat stats anyway. Verac helm helps me, but my level 122 partner only uses it solo, otherwise the range bonus is more useful. Some tips for the boss- I find that eagle eye is only worth it in solo, duo, and 3 man team fights. You eat so often that the prayer loss is not noticed. In a 3 person team, we only use it on the boss. In a team of 4+ you dont eat as often and will have to start drinking prayer to compensate. The boss goes down fast enough anyway. The same goes for range pots, I only take them in 3 person+ teams. It is helpful to have one person stand close enough to see the bosses hp. When kree is below half that person should notify the team so they can swap to diamond bolts. Dragon bolts work, but the spec never hits. Armadyl is probably the best boss for exp. Doing armadyl for one week straight, i have gotten 1m range exp. (about 20-30k a trip) Not bad for a boss lol. Once again, awesome guide.
  13. For armadyl, I'd say verac helm is better then a coif. I have tried both and find the defense from the helm helps more. I also use sara vamps for a sara item. Vamps are better then barrows gloves, with more mage def. I don't take a zammy item for the kc. If you stand here, no zammy monsters will attack you. Stay to the left side of the red line. If you do get attacked by the gorak there, just run east and it will not be able to reach you. Stand by the boxes and shoot it, it will back away. Just shoot it once and wait a second for it to leave. I usually take emerald (e) bolts and attack the 4-5 avansie that are in that spot, poisoning them, then taking them down one at a time. Doing that I can get the kc in about 15-20 mins? I never timed it so not really sure. Void ranger set does some awesome damage, but is only worth it in teams of 4+, when you are not being hit so often and the boss goes down faster. Other wise you lose to much defense to make it worth it. The box at the spot shown gives free mith grapples. If you dont want to buy one, just take a few trips there and load up. I think you have to take one, drop it, take one, drop. etc. I forget though. I hope you don't mind me posting this, just trying to help :P
  14. I do not look forward to that :( But this should just go in the sticky really.
  15. I was just about to write a sara guide, as no one else has written a good one yet. Nice guide, obviously extensively researched and tested. =D> I do have a few tips for sara. When I was going to sara, I pretty much only duoed her. My partner and I finally worked out a method to get 6-7 kills per trip. Myself, being the lower combat, would be a tank. Verac skirt and helm, guthans plate, dfs, etc. I would run along one wall while my partner attacked. This kept her on me, and only let her hit me 1-3 times per pass. My partner would drink a super set and just hit away. I also find that if you are not in a team of 4+, veracs is better then a godsword. With a 3 man team of veracs we can get 12-15 kills a trip. But with a four man team of god swords, we could get 20-30 kills a trip (depending on the experience of the team). I find that super attacks and strengths are a waste of space better filled with brews. In my opinion, 14-16 brews and 7-9 super restores work better. Sara is my favorite boss. When done correctly, she is one of the easiest boss and most fun (lots of action :P ). Do you plan on doing an armadyl guide? If so I̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ll let you know my current method, which is still being tweaked each day. Currently in a duo trip we can get 10-12 boss kills a trip, but I know there is room for improvement. I live at god wars, doing 6-10 trips a day. Let me know if you ever want to go.
  16. Yea we got a ss, then the very next run we got a sara hilt. Both duo. Also got a shard earlier that day lol. Sold the ss, I kept the sara god sword. Now we are getting all the armadyl drops, my other duo partner is keeping the armadyl hilt. Addicted to god wars, at least until january  Then I will probably quit. I'll be in #runescape on mirc.
  17. Can i borrow your santa? Yes I am joking Took me 5 days and about 30-40 trips to sara to get both a sara sword and sara hilt. Dont waste time at dks, just do sara or armadyl for a week :)
  18. So I am muted for 2 days......rioting in world 66. If the update is not changed, I am canceling members in two weeks anyway.
  19. So I am muted for 2 days. Rioting in world 66 was still very worth it.
