Please excuse us if we've run out of patience in dealing with an individual who has, repeatedly, made efforts to deliberately misrepresent reality with his made up "facts" which have lead him to post bizarre conclusions and, after reality has failed to live up to his conclusions, is now purporting a conspiracy theorist's approach to explain why his made up facts failed to meet with his bizarre conclusions. Where I come from, we call that "delusional" -- perhaps where you come from, you have another term for it which sounds more "mature" or "patient" ... Again, forgive us, some people don't suffer fools as well as others. <_<

Is it bad that I laughed at this? Hard like side splitting laughter. I'm just adding up the numbers now man. I'm looking at the Highscores list and wtf there can't be more than 400k+ members!!! Jagex played us. What happened to the certainty that the poll would be destroyed and all the non-believers would be left wide-mouthed and in absolute shock? That has nothing to do with anything. We don't have enough members to get through the tiers. This is isn't about members not wanting something, this is about not enough members to get through the tiers. Jagex played us. So far in my numbers we have almost half the members vote. In 12 days we should have 3/4 the members vote. So in other words, what I predicted is happening, the majority want 2007scape back. We just don't have enough subscribers to even get 500k. 250,000 individuals who want 2007scape is actually pretty damn impressive and damning. ... and the delusion continues ... :rolleyes:

Has anyone mentioned that this 07 version of Runescape is also going to include all the "old" random events? You know, the lethal and really annoying ones that everyone hated with a passion? :unsure:

You know, this could be an interesting experiment. A base game with everyone starting from scratch with no G/E, no boss-hunting, no rares, no summoning and no dungeoneering. Just players and skills to train … Gee - I wonder how long before for the player-base totally FUBAR’s it? My recollection of the pre-GE/”old” Wildy/free-trade Runescape of 2007, was world-upon-world of overcrowded bots, such that you couldn’t swing a dead cat without hitting one. I’ll wager that you’ll have that exact same thing within the first 10-15 minutes they launch the servers. Then again, I could be wrong – but I’ll probably won’t be …

I’m curious … If you cannot carry over your account from 2007, and there’s no GE from which one may “generate” items – where will phats come from? There will be no rares at all?

Well, given that we’ve started using ships to [exploit] explore the Eastern Lands – including sending Missionaries to foist their version of morality upon an unsuspecting people – one would anticipate that the next logical step would be the incorporation of corporate entities, like the Dutch East India Company, in order to further the exploitation, right? Months actually -- it started at the beginning of this past summer and it hasn't improved. It used to be that I'd log into W71 for penguins because they were usually all exactly where they we listed on their forum. Now the penguins are rarely trapped on W71 ... :huh:

And about time, too ... Will they decommission PKing for that world? I wonder ... :unsure: That would be sweet but I doubt it, support outside the penguin hunting community is rather slim, as far as I have experienced it. It probably would trigger a lot of Babyscape comments and the like. And admittedly there are even some hunters who like it the way it is, although quite a minority. Well, and they said they would only change themes, no mechanics :P I'm also wondering how the penguin whisperers of w71 feel about this. Bit of a slap in the face that only 60 is becoming a penguin hunting world... Edit: Just read through the thread...Oh Lord, the drama. I wasn't expecting that much rage. I wonder what'll happen with this. While I don't think it's too much of an issue (Both worlds will probably carry on mostly like they have before, regardless of any labels) I do see a problem with seemingly promoting one group over an other (even if not intended). Labeling both or none is probably wiser. Personally, I am indifferent to the PKer's entirely. I chase the penguins wherever they may be. So far, since the return of "PKing", I've been PK'd twice while hunting penguins - once on purpose. As far as worlds go - I've used both W71 and W60. While I like W71 because it lags a lot less for me, I find the W60 chats to be much more dependable than relying on old siting reports posted on the RSOF, especially since the inclusion of the "invisible penguin". That's also not to mention the group(s) that also penguin search on World 99 ...

Never mind the ships, which look amazing by the way, take a look at the stone-work on the docks -- the algae along the water’s edge, that is some really nice detailing … :shades: I don’t expect all the dockworks to be remastered right away, but I’d assume that they will eventually upgrade them all in turn, much the same way they altered the trees all over the landscape.

Worse still -- I'm pretty sure barrows came out in May 2005 ... :unsure: Still, it'd be nice if we got some real "Eastern Lands" content in terms of equipment and what-not along with the release of POP's. Not that I am expecting any, but it's be nice to get it ...
