Holiday Musings and a permanent solution to rares
Nacholo You say that removing the wilderness was for the greater good. Yes, it was. Removing holiday items is not. They were put in the game for no other reason than a gimmick, a toy. Taking them out does no good for anyone. Why do we need solution to rares, when there is no problem? Who cares that someone cannot have a rubber chicken or yo-yo, most of the time it will just be sitting in a bank, or waiting with Diango. Replacing all party hats and trade able rares with GP would be a very bad thing. In fact, I think it is impossible without changing the coding of Runescape. Why? The maximum GP limit, last time I checked, is 2 billion gp. Certainly some players have amassed enough rares to go over that limit.

How would you prepare for a breakdown in organised society?
In my History class, we had an activity where there were three separate nations, each with their own problems. Each was equally matched in it's military force, only two nations allied together would be able to take over another. The entire thing ended in the nation that got ganged up on nuking itself to screw over the other two. So I'm not really surprised no one has tried to go the civilized route and attempt to re-establish civilization. That said, I'd attempt to organize a group of every single person I knew, and just start recruiting. Get the largest group going, set up camp in a school or something, and let the tribalism ensue. I doubt I would end up leader, but depending on how far society degrades, I may be fairly high up on the ladder. Size does matter when 'society' is based completely on survival of the fittest ;)

Ipod vs Zune !!!@@~ULTIMATE SHOWDOWN~!!!@@
The Clip does not have built in speakers. Also, the Shuffle and Clip are not nearly the same. Sure, same size and price range.. but the Clip has better sound quality, better sound customizing options, a screen, a physical clip (great for running), UMS support, better codec support and the possibility to run Rockbox in het future. I guess I must be thinking of something else, I know two people with something that I always thought was the Clip, and it has built-in speakers :?

EA skate. 2!
Here's the thing though, when I played it, and I think I got in a good 3 hours, I've always ended up in places that are from the skate. Since I don't own skate., then yeah, I would agree that it is worth the $60. I must admit that I think I do still prefer the first over the second.

Why is sex* bad?
Legal age of consent was 14 in Canada up until last year, when it was bumped up to 16. Even then, I'd say consent laws exist to have a statutory rape punishment. Think of that twelve year-old, and the fact that he is well under the age, along with his girlfriend. Think that either of them are to going to be punished? Think again. No one will punish under-age sex as long as both parties are underage and consenting. And sex isn't bad, it's taboo. It can be seen as something personal between two (Sometimes more) individuals, and so some people find it rather rude or vulgar to openly discuss it. Or they're just embarrassed to be talking about it.

::.Fable Discussion Thread.:: Fable 3 Released!
I doubt anyone would buy it for 800MS points. Also, you don't get the sex change potion from Fairfax Castle, you get it form the Cemetery Manor.

I really do hate my family sometimes
Quite honestly, I still would have gone. Just bring an mp3 player, find a couch, sit, and stare at a wall. Even if you don't like them, they're still your family and your parents' family. If that doesn't work, try to convince a friend to come. Also, you say that you don't hate your cousin. Am I the only one that read this part? You haven't seen these people in 12 years, and yet you are convinced that you hate them. To be frank, that is one of the most idiotic things I have ever heard. Holding a grudge for 12 years is just being plain stubborn. Go to one family get together that involves this family you haven't seen in 12 years, and then come back and say you hate your family. Unless his cousin idolizes him, his cousin won't notice. Especially if he hasn't seen his mother's family in 12 years. I can be rude and selfish but in this case I'm not. I haven't seen my family in 12 years cause as I said I don't feel close to them and I don't feel there's a family like bond with them. Ever thought that they might feel a family bond? Saying "I don't feel like going to your kids birthday party," probably will get any parent mad. Yet we don't know whether it is the mother being offended, or the kid was disappointed that he didn't show up. The latter I will agree is justified. Also, anger isn't some emotion you suddenly start to feel when you become a parent. She has every right to be angry, but she should still be in control of herself, especially if she is supposed to be a parent.

EA skate. 2!
Quite frankly, I don't see why skate. 2 is even considered a new game. From what I have played, very few things have been added. Hippie jumps, getting off your board. That's about all I can think of that is an improvement. The game is still good though, just a very small improvement on skate.

Your Epic Battle Music.
Pretty much anything from The Flatliners. The Great Awake alone seems like it could cover an entire battle. Also anything from Authority Zero or Strike Anywhere.

Ipod vs Zune !!!@@~ULTIMATE SHOWDOWN~!!!@@
If you are looking to be running with an mp3 player, I wouldn't go any bigger than the 8GB Zune or iPod Nano. If you are running, you'll probably prefer something like the iPod Shuffle or a SanDisk Sansa Clip. The last two are essentially the same, the Clip is cheaper and has built-in (If very bad quality) speakers. An iPod Touch is good and all, but too heavy to be running with.

Albums or songs? Downloads or physical copies?
I usually listen to albums. It really annoys me to have to switch songs/CD's every couple of minutes. Also, if money was not an issue, I would own every CD I have music for. Unfortunately, I don't have a money tree in my backyard, so I end up downloading all my music. And just because it's much more convenient and you often find a lot of lesser-known-but-awesome tracks, I download the entire discography of an artist. I truly do wish that CD's were priced at a more reasonable amount. For once I'd like to see a full-length album for under $10. That said I have no idea how much it actually costs to create a single album.

Video game remakes... great or lazy?
They were necessary though. They had to be made so that people playing the DS generation of pokemon games could get the original pokemon. Or they could let you trade with Generation I and II games  That's hard when you don't have those games, and they are out of production. For the most part, I think that remakes are a pretty good idea, as long as they are pulled off correctly. By remake, I don't mean a direct port or translation of a game, I mean a full graphical update. For instance, I'd say that Fable 2 really was just a remake of the original Fable. A slightly different control scheme, more quests, different weapons, a dog, and added online play don't really make it a separate game or sequel, especially if there is no real storyline continuation. I think that things such as Xbox Originals or the Wii Virtual Console are good ideas. Bringing back the original games, as a near-direct port.

Ipod vs Zune !!!@@~ULTIMATE SHOWDOWN~!!!@@
I have an 80GB iPod Classic. IT was the cheapest at the time for haveing over 20GB of storage capacity. At the moment I have 7760 songs on it, plus video, plus 24 50-minute long Podcasts, all totaling 38.7GB. Worth it? Hell yes. Most of the time I just set my iPod to shuffle and leave it be. It's the perfect size for me too. Suits my giant hands, and I haven't found a pocket that it doesn't fit into. Weight doesn't matter to me, if I run or workout I just grab the iPod Shuffle that is lying around the house. Although if you were to buy either an iPod or Zune, I'd just like to point out that Zunes are either the same price or cheaper for comparable sizes. SanDisk Clip is also pretty much a Shuffle clone, but with built-in speakers and cheaper. I won't lie that I think the iPod Touch should be classed in it's own category aside from mp3 players. Using friends it is just amazing, although it is ridiculously expensive for it's storage capacity.
