  1. My friend, who does play MLG customs, can go pretty clutch sometimes and take on two or three opponents at once, with just a BR. It's just being able to utilize the map and objects to your advantage, I.E. on Guardian in Snipe tower, that one ledge (And fusion coil) can be very useful for a player that knows how to use them. That is just the same as CoD4, unless you get lucky, or are very skilled, a fight again two or more skilled opponents will result in a quick death for you. Also, I wouldn't say sniper is that much of a power weapon. It's nothing like rockets or a Sword, it still takes skill to use.
  2. I'd say I know people form pretty much every crowd. Also, there is no single 'In' or 'Out' crowd, there's just a big jumble of kids. If we were to go by stereotypes, it's the same case for me. I'm a Jock/Nerd/Prep/Punk/Loner. I was co-captain of my school's football team (First place in our Division), I am very much a gamer/computer addict/very smart, I hang out with all of the punk-ish kids, or I guess the better title would be troublemakers, I also hang out with all of the kids that might be defined as 'Preppy', and I only really hang out with people after school and such. In High School it is nearly impossible to put labels on someone, I don't understand why some people feel the need to have a solid classification of someone else.
  3. I guess I need to make a bit of a change to me saying that the line-up is horrible. There are some good bands on it (ISMFOF, Streetlight, Big D, Bad Religion, NOFX, Anti-Flag, Alexisonfire, Flogging Molly, LTJ, Underoath, TDWP), but almost the rest of them are complete garbage. I wouldn't care if this was something other than the Warped Tour, but it isn't. The Warped Tour was started off to play punk, and maybe a little bit of ska. Some people, according to Wikipedia, say that the Warped Tour is for what 'the kids' listen to. The Warped has never focused on mainstream music; I see maybe three or four 'mainstream' bands that the kids would have listened to. So get back to your roots and start touring for the sake of touring, and promoting some good ol' punk. Not lining your pockets.

  5. To add to the long list I already posted (On page 8)... [hide=]It is currently 3:33 am. I need to be awake in 4 and a half hours, but then I will be napping the rest of the day. Isn't school great? It took me about 30 minutes to read through the first 8 pages before I finally found my post. This computer is driving me insane; the keyboard is too loud and the keys too stiff... The monitor is a CRT, the mouse is too small, the keyboard too low, the computer too slow Also there is a very good chance it is infested with a couple hundred viruses My dream is to become a software engineer or something related to utilizing code and computers. Maybe even a touch of physics. The best way I can describe my life is going from one obsession to another. Runescape, CSI, Music, Games, Reading, Sports, Puzzles, Skiing, Halo 3, CoD4, TIF. I have a wide range of humour, I laugh at many things, even things that aren't funny, but I do still get the more 'complicated' jokes. I am a very easy-going person. Whenever I am around people I feel happy, even if we're just sitting there doing absolutely nothing. It is now 3:40 am I really should get to bed. I wish I could have all of the TIF smileys on MSN. As I said in my other list, I listen to every kind of music, with the exception of what I would consider 'hardcore' Metal. That is, the likes of Cattle Decapitation and pretty much everything that CycoReborn listens to. The OT msn chats were possibly the best thing to ever exist. It makes me sad to think that I haven't talked to some of the people from those in months (Where the hell has Kari gotten off to?) Hopefully no one will notice this line has nothing to do with me. I am sad now that I've gotten to thinking about the pure, digitalized awesome that was the MSN chats. I don't give a damn what random people on the internet say. I don't give a damn what random people in real life sat to me. I tried to make those last two sentences the same length. I failed. amidoinitrite? That was the only sentence in this entire list with improper grammar. Some grammar nazi will probably point out something. 97 and 77 are my favourite numbers. Firefox's spell checker is making me mad because it is doesn't think u's are important. Yes, I did download the Canadian dictionary. No, it still doesn't work. Yes, I restarted Firefox. I am very unresponsive to pain and general 'shock' sites. I play hockey, rugby, football and can throw a frisbee at least 3 different ways. Sports are awesome. I don't understand how someone can not enjoy sports. Team sports are the only sports I will play, because the only way I will ever do something is if I know that someone is counting on me to do it. Procrastination is my worst habit by far, I more often than not start and complete assignments 24 before they are due. Often it is 6-12 hours. I love sneezing. This keyboard is still driving me insane. I have horrible back problems because of the sports I play. Or it could be the fact that I landed on my neck after rolling off a bunk bed when I was 10. Either way, I regularly visit a massage therapist. Massages aren't what they're all cracked up to be. I love being cold. 10C is the ideal temperature. Perfect for playing sports, not so cold that you need to wear extra clothing. I am going to bed now. I will fall asleep in an hour though. It is currently 3:54 am[/hide]
  6. I'm going to say yes. I have smoked weed before, liked it, but I'm not about to become a habitual user. Also, anyone saying that weed screws the user over, I ask you to think of what the person was like before they started smoking weed. Everyone I know that is a habitual user didn't change at all from before they started to now. And they're the exact same. The only problem with weed is that, being criminalized, it will often be associated with gangs and other drugs that are harmful. Also, talk to LP if you want some good reasons for legalizing marijuana.

  8. If you're going to move your 360 so you can get a direct connection, you'll just need an ethernet cable. There's a good chance your 360 came with one. It might be long enough, but if it isn't you can just easily go out and buy one.

probably because i have about no details on it because JIC (just in case) some odd person likes some of my ideas and tries to fashion that into something but anyway you could make a positive impact by adding to it =] So you're afraid of someone stealing your work. That's understandable. What languages do you know that you could program the RPG in?

  11. Prestige'd twice, and I'm at rank 29 right now. Also, I'm in love with the pump-action shotgun. I just run around the map with it = 20-30 kill/ 10-15 death games. I'm guessing that I have about 175 kills with it, 12 headshots  Seriously though, why are all the starting weapons the best? Shotgun I've yet to run into a situation where I would have needed the near-unlimited fire rate. M16A4 is probably the best assault rifle. Silenced MP5, UAV Jammer, 3x Stun, Dead silence = minimum 20 kills. It's been said before here that R40[?] is the best sniper. Only thing I won't judge are the LMG's, which I do not use at all, except to take down a helicopter.
  12. Wait, is it just one strict parent? Appeal to the other one. If it's both, then start rebelling, but keep the grades up. When they realize that you don't have to be studying for 4 hours a day to keep an 'A' average, they should be sane enough to let you go about they way you want. That's pretty much how it is with me and my parents. I do what I want, but if they know that I'm doing as well as I should, they tell me to tighten the slack. Also, for the 6pm curfew, stay out 15-30 minutes later than that. They'll be mad the first few times, but if you keep at it, you can slowly raise the curfew. Just never let the grades drop, or else they will just get harder.

Nicotine gum/patches have to be the greatest product ever. They replace an addiction, and even better, are seen as medicine! I'd just say that the best thing to do is find something to take your mind off of it, or something that gives you a reason to stop. Take up sports, learn to program (Even very simple programming can take hours if you're inexperienced), solve a Rubik's cube. Keep your mind active, so it can't wander and think about smoking.
  14. Wow, I never actually expected this to happen. Although I guess that with the recent changes and announcements, it isn't completely mind blowing. Still though, I don't even play Runescape that much anymore, but I'm excited for this.
  15. 1. I am tall, but I don't look like it without something to be compared to. 2. I spend way too much time on the computer. 3. I could not survive without an iPod or some kind of music device. 4. I am a combination of pretty much every high school stereotype (Jock/Nerd/Prep/Punk/Loner). 5. I can, will, and do listen to every genre of music out there (Although Punk and Ska still rule supreme). [hide=I almost want to keep on writing more...]6. I probably know every Streetlight Manifesto lyric. 7. I am Agnostic/Theist. 8. My religious views are almost always changing in some small way. 9. I'll do whatever the hell I want. 10. I just generally don't know what it is I want. 11. I am almost always torn when is comes to decisions and taking sides. 12. I have two different circles of friends, both of which hate each other. 13. My house is perfect for throwing parties in the Summer. 14. I smoked pot for about two or three months, then realized that it didn't do anything for me. 15. My pirated music folder totals around 30GB. 16. I've listened to most of it. 17. Three quarters of the time I'm in school, I am bored out of my mind, just wishing it would end. 18. the other quarter is split between tests and sleep. 19. My average right now is 88. 20. This is a monument to my boredom. 21. I am clearly overweight, yet I perform very well in sports. 22. Rugby is the greatest sport to grace a field. 23. Canada's army will mess you up, those beavers make devastating bombs. 24. During the Second World War, there was research as to whether or not an iceberg could be used as an aircraft carrier. Of course this was done by Canada. 25. I hate cities. 26. Economics is one of the most depressing fields of study. 27. I easily pass for 19. 28. I will never touch a cigarette to my lips. 29. Alcohol > any other kind of drug. 30. People who think beer takes bad are insane. 31. I have gone 3 days in a row without leaving my house without any reason. 32. I have done the same, but at someone else's house. 33. 77 is my favourite number. 34. Sweet Onion Chicken Teryaki Subs are simply crack on a bun. Costs about the same too  35. I hate having to go to sleep; insomnia would be a blessing. 36. I hate waking up. 37. I felt like ending this on a prime number.[/hide]
  16. I'm pretty sure the only thing I have to worry about is back problems, although I think I can attribute that to sports. Then again, me, brother, sister, and dad all have back problems. We also are quite active (Dad is a fire fighter, me and siblings play quite a lot of sports that would mess with your back, mainly hockey, rugby, swimming). Also, I like to think that my family is quite healthy. Right now, my grandfather is about 70, and he's is in no way dependent on anyone. Also, my grandmother, who died at 63 from a heart attack, lived many years longer than was expected of her (Along with heart problems, she had what I believe is adult on-set diabetes). I'd personally say that her dying was a bit of a mercy, when it was her time, she had two fingers and a leg below the knee amputated (Kathy Crawford will always be remembered). Heart problems are a possibility, I'm not too sure what my second grandfather died of, but I know that one side of my family, both grandparents have had heart problems, each have had at least one heart attack (Grandfather is still goin' strong, as already mentioned). Wow, I need to get some sleep.
  17. Quite frankly, the game isn't giving that good of a first impression. From the 'game background' there isn't much information, just a bunch of hype ("Stunning computer graphics" - Maybe a few years ago).
  18. Also Ray, you don't need to change your router settings. The problem is with the wireless card/adapter and your computer's wireless settings.
  19. Notorious Thugs, by The Notorious B.I.G. One awesome hip-hop song. Also, that is sweet Skull.

^I personally believe that Hell would be a wonderful place. Nice and warm, and there's always a barbeque going on. Y'know, a nice neighbourly place. Seriously though, if you're reading the books with the intention of judging them, it'll be a horrible read. If you just read it because you want to read, it will be a good read. That said, when you look back on it you will hate yourself for reading it. Really I'd say it'd be better for you to read it, because then the Twifans can't just turn around and say that you shouldn't even be judging the books if you haven't read them. Also Robin, nice sig
  21. [email protected] Also, here's the Official FAQ Thread from the game forums. Some key things to note, or at least questions that were answered for me, is that the game is not currently in the open/closed Beta stage. The closed Beta is hopefully going to be released soon, with the full game be launched sometime this year. The game will be available in English, French and German, and there will be voice-chat in game. There will be ranks, which will essentially act like levels, however they are only for unlocking upgrades and more advanced ships. Multiple characters (Currently 6 in the Alpha) can be made per server, and each character can own multiple ships, which will be stored in a Hangar. Also, I think there are contests in which you can win a key for the closed Beta. Other than that, I am given the impression that only Guilds will be given keys (Up to a 50 each). No compatibility for Macs. I strongly suggest reading the FAQ, as it gives a much clearer picture of the game as a whole.
  22. I'm so going to try that now. Would you happen to be from Toronto? Anyways, I had this book, I think it the Bathroom reader's or something, that had a section for useless laws. Most of them are ridiculous. Also, if there's a law/warning for against, someone has tried it, and then tried to sue or got hurt.
  23. I was talking to Azvareth, not just saying it outright. Also, I do realize that most shoes, aside from Converse and other skateboarding brand shoes, have curve. I do care about comfort, but not enough to be willing to spend over $500 on it.
  24. I guess I should mention something else. I do not want an exact copy of myself, I don't think I even know what I want beyond that. There is no real characteristic that I see as vital, the best description I can give of someone I am attracted to is 'a great person'. It's not about individual aspects, it's whether all the characteristics work together.
  25. You realize orthotic insoles cost upwards of $500? Anyways, I don't care that much for shoes. All I care about is comfort, and durability. That said, given a chance I will take a better looking pair. Currently I have a pair of Black Etnies, which are mud- and salt-stained. Converse are more comfortable, but are too much of a hassle to completely lace and unlace.
