  1. Lol. People thinking made up facts is funny. It CAN be 1/600, but the AVERAGE is 1/300. Silly. People always quote it as 1/300 but empirically it's been found to be about 1/600 from several extensive drop logs. That's just insane. Absolutely insane.
  2. 95 Prayer. Last goal to achieve: Overloads. Gotta earn about 60M. Did a few TD's after this. Gotta say, Turmoil is pretty overpowered.
  3. i'm kind of hoping they do a rollback to get me my wasted tears back...
  4. epic fail, i just used my tears -_-
  5. not all of the rewards for the thieving thing have been revealed. could be related to it.
  6. If you can't even afford Ahrim's, you should be killing waterfiends.
  7. I'm only 96 Summ, and don't want to get 99 yet. I'm trying to think of a way to compensate for my range. Plus I'll be staying on turmoil only. Wonder if Geyser titan is any good?
  8. Wise words my son. Same thing applies to making money. People are worried about what boss generates most profit per hour, but it's also important to consider how often and how convenient it is for you to hunt a particular boss. Solo arma makes a lot of money per trip, but each trip is tedious to conduct. Solo TD's makes less per trip, but it's a lot easier and requires much less overhead.
  9. Yeah, but that's not too hard. I can do it nearly reflexively because I've done TD's for so long. You pick up things like being able to tell when the TD switches protection out of your peripheral vision. Do you know what peripheral vision is? OT: You do "learn" when the TDs switch attack styles over time. It seems to be on a somewhat timed basis. Yes, I know what peripheral vision is. I was talking about doing Td's while watching TV. Hmm. Looks like I have a reason to get 99 Summ. By the way, what gear were you using? Verac bottom or Karil bottom?
  10. Yeah, but that's not too hard. I can do it nearly reflexively because I've done TD's for so long. You pick up things like being able to tell when the TD switches protection out of your peripheral vision. I can already do TD's while watching TV, and that's even with protection and attack prayer switching. I just want to try out the soul split method to make it even easier.
  11. Exactly why I mentioned it on your thread :) Idk, I prefer the short trip lengths and the ease of transport for TD's.
  12. uh I think you should pick a different boss for AFK-ish money making. TD's arent the only boss that makes decent money. Only other thing I can think of is Rex, but Rex makes significantly less profit I don't like doing Corp Soul split should heal ~60 HP per TD. coupled with Uni, it may be enough, if you have high enough melee defense on your gear I used to tank TD's using no overheads at all, if I had extra HP (but this is pretty dangerous and isn't sustainable for more than ~7 hits
  13. Because I'm trying to develop a method of doing TD's that requires so little attention that I can watch TV. And no, you would have to use deflect while dropping the shield, because this method would only work when the TD is attacking using melee, and most likely it's attacking using mage when you're taking down the shield
  14. Is soul split enough healing to tank TD's (using melee)? That is, let the TD switch until he starts using melee, switch to soul split and stay on soul split Does it still require a unicorn? Also, if I'm feeling lazy, is just keeping turmoil on a good idea at TDs? Turmoil has a 1-hit delay so there's some inherent loss when switching between leech range and turmoil, opposed to just turmoil
  15. TD's, if you want to test your luck DK's if you want consistent (but lower) money
  16. But then you never get to heal because Prime will always be on you... and by the time you kill prime to be able to switch to SS, you'll be at even lower HP, risking death. Right? Also, isn't prime much more profitable than supreme? A large source of profits is talismans.
  17. If you have the extra cash (~150M?), yes. Extra stats are better than equipment in most cases. Recover special + Dclaws is also extremely powerful. If you have a lot of time and want to AFK, collect nightshades and make weapon poison++ from 81 to 89. You get roughly 2.5K profit per potion and can collect at maximum 100 nightshades an hour. You will also get 190xp per potion, or roughly 19K herb xp per hour. Otherwise, I'd recommend super defense. The gp loss per potion is reasonable, and super defense is cheap so you don't have to worry about reselling your potions constantly. After 84, I'd suggest recover special potions. Remember to use Greenman's ale to boost +1 if you need it. Expect to pay around 25-28 gp per xp. In total, roughly 150-200M. For you can please answer any of these questions, thank you so much
  18. You should piety waterfiends and use the best available gear. Try not to use the protection prayer Total costs ~150K/hr in prayer pots, and you gain ~150K/hr, so in the long run you roughly break even. Pick up anything worth more than 2k
  19. Any thoughts on hybriding between Rex and Prime? Is soul split on rex enough health to last you both kills?
  20. :ohnoes: LOL. ridiculous.
  21. overpowered... No gtfo, this will be interesting for people with divines and elysians. and for the rest of us who can't afford a 1B shield? +400 melee defense and sol are going to be needed for tanking
  22. overpowered...
  23. Mage has already been sufficienty balanced, I think. arcane stream necklace + SOL + chaotic kiteshield = win
