How much cash do you need to make profit from mage arena? Like how much starting cash I guess.

I'd jump for joy considering I have about 5 accounts. But I can understand the problems. *HOWEVER* they could make a sytem where each player gets to *create* (or something like this) 2 accounts a month which can be given to friends. Runescape would still grow, bots would be fewer and easier to ban, majority of people would be happy. And I skipped pages 2 and 3 so if someone said, sorry!

Currently I have 57 magic and am training at blue drags with firebolt (I have chaos gaunts). I make a good profit but its often crowded and since I only have 30ish agility I can't use shortcut so it takes forever to bank (even with tele). I am wondering besides blue drags what other spots are there where I can mage and make a profit while keeping exp high. I only have 40 def, 20ish prayer, *maybe* 10 slayer, and haven't down a ton of quests. So if someone can suggest a spot for me to train where I can make some good cash, good exp, and don't need a crazy slayer/prayer/something other lvl.

They could just sell "recources" like logs and such and make them like willow log (JS) where the (JS) stands for Jagex store. These would be untradable and only be usable for raising skills. That would solve the "just buy logs and selll them for cash to buy armor!" thought. It would definitly have its benifits but I'm not sure if it would be a good idea. I mean, it would certainly destroy RWT but it would also piss off alot of people who worked for their skills.

Good call dude. Especially if you are in catherberry doing swordies/tuna, you just need to stop abit to bank cat and buy a new one. If I ever feel the need to fish for awhile, I'm definetly doing this.

Wise alexei... k true. No 99's not very high in alot of stuff. 86 is basically two lvl 79's though which is what I was considering a good player... Never the less, I'd still like an example of the "newb" I was talking about, addy/rune, etc.

I really hate people who judge by combat.... 4 99's INCLUDING smithing and crafting is not a low lvl. I am talking about somebody who is 50 combat, walks around in their mix of addy and rune armor, and maybe has one or two skills above 70. Eshtoal, I'm assuming you are also talking about a skiller? I mean a "newb" if you will? I've met tons who follow the rules. I know I did when I was knew.

You honestly believe that? If you can name a player mod who is low lvled I will go kill myself. And don't say there aren't low lvled dedicated players.

I think people are way to obsessed with them. Runescape Forum mods too. I mean, you go to other games and other forums and they are just regular people. I think its because in RS you have so many little kids and mod posistions are generally only obtainable (I'd say especially so for forums) by kissing alot of [wagon] and brown nosing people think. Just what I think.

Even if you couldn't lose it, why would you bring it in? It gives no bonus (Maybe like +1 slash def?) and just makes you a target.

I sold yews 380 ea before the exchange, so if you were selling 330 ea you were getting ripped off, and I don't mean explode but people like skillers who mine ores and stuff will get so fed up with selling for nothing they will just start to use the ores themselves which will kinda stop the flow of money from the rich people buying the ores and stuff. Or am I wrong?

I enjoy the fact that prices are going down so much, however, if they go to low then I have a feeling the market will just kinda explode and things won't be good. I think Yew logs are basically the only thing that are going up on a daily basis. Anybody know if I am right? They were like 380 originally and are now like 390+ or something

I'm not gonna pretend to be an expert but if you alch you will lose money probally. Unless you are cutting yews or making nats you will probally lose like 25 or so gp every bow.

You know your a noob when WoW is the standard for all MMORPG's. WoW is honest to God a game that has almost as many noobs and whiners as RS. Please to God stop comparing them because if you ever play wc3 and then ask who plays WoW 80% of the people who shout "I DO!!" will be doush bags.

It doesn't matter dude. I beat him with water blast and 20 def. He doesn't hit that hard and aslong as you use lobs+ you will be fine.

If you can give me a quick way to get 50 agility I might do rouges den but agility is so boring IMO...

Do trips pay for the food and anti poisons cause I am poor as hell.

how much defense do you need to maximise loot from trip and minimizing food? Would 40 be good? Or should I train higher (like to 50 or 60)
