If my combat is low (which it is) is pyramid plunder more trouble than its worth? And would you recomend master farmers till like.... 65 when I can do summer garden (or w/e) for really good exp.

Your trying to say strongbad but the sight is homestar runner. Good save though, I hate when you are doing something time consuming to get to and you forget a key item.

I'm 41 thieving atm and I am looking for a good mix of money and exp. Best exp I have found so far is the sorceress garden but while I lose nothing, it has 0 gain becides the exp and is rather tedious and boring. I'm doing master farmers right now and just trying to get lots of herb seeds but not really having much luck. So can anybody tell me what a good mix for cash and exp is. And possibly when pyramid plunder becomes an *effective* way to make cash.

How about what I am not looking forward to. All these updates (except chirstmas event) are combat baced. I suppose you could "claim" gravestone is a construction update, but who is going to go around killing themselves so people can see their gravestone. Anybody who skills has really nothing to look forward to except a billion stupid rants in RSOF about the new updates that bump their *educated* rants to pg 51. Anybody else feel this way?

If you have ever played "bounty hunter" as Jagex calls it in real life you will know that it is nowhere close to pking. This game is going to be stupid because you will have friends who refuse to kill each other so the other friend will win. This game will also depend on how many stupid people even understand how to play because if you have a dumb person trying to kill you, its not going to be hard to stay alive even if you stink. Pking is a 1v1 battle with no rules. This is not going to replace pking.

I can't get in... I talked with osman, the apprentice and sorceress and none of them will let me in. I have not started the prince ali quest and it says in the guide that if you start it you have to finish it before playing. But i just want to know how to get in! Nvm, you need to finish prince ali to do it. Maybe they should change that in guide.

Oh, I think I've seen it. Damn, I can't remember the title either, but yes, that's basically what's going on. Jagex is trying to achieve perfection by destroying what is imperfect, or even has the potential to be imperfect. In the end, you realise that once that goal is performed, there is not enough of the perfect to have a point. Maybe we just have accept that there is no way to have a self sustaining game without some kind of method of cheating, and so we will just have to resort to reporting and manual banning? IRobot, and no, it won't be worth it in the long run.

I'll agree that its impossible to make a completely "oringinal" game but do you honestly believe that they have been working on summoning for 4 years? Or the grand exchange? It took about 3 hours for a bug to appear which is a pretty sure sign imo that these haven't been in production that long. If they had really been working on stuff like this for 4 years it better be golden.

Half his point is that the problem is that they will adjust with time but not fast enough.

The results were close but the GS owned those last 3 and in the first battle the guy with the maul had like 15hp left. So I mean.... maul guy kinda lucked out.

Summoning is going to be a let down. Its probally going to have to much of a "hunter" theme to it.

Ya you were wrong. Autoers have lvl 3 accounts, not 66. And who cares if he drop traded. Jagex really doesn't because if they did they would have to ban 90% of pures out there and their not going to do that. You were being rude and I don't blame him for walking away but if he actually did report you that is a little extreme. BUt once again, judging skill by combat is stupid and noobish.

Err, monk robes aren't smart if your going to leave pray at lvl 1 to. I'd get 40 range for dragn chaps to. Depening on your str lvl I would get my prayer or attack up to. I mean, once you get to like 80 str your going to be fighting alot of people in rune armor and stuff and 40 attack will not get you alot of hits.

The article was well written but bias. The author was correct in saying that graphics don't make the game but they sure as hell can ruin it or make it incredible. Second thing, he said people play video games to escape from reality. No, people play to have fun. If you are playing to escape from reality than you should go see a phycologist. Third thing, realistic games are better the majority of times. Would you like to play a game where a sniper rifle shoots at the speed of an SMG? I wouldn't. Realism plays a huge part in how good games are and I think the author totally mistated his point. Last thing, Tetris has a point. It forces the player to think on their feet as well as planning ahead and requiring some pretty fast fingers at lvls 10+ WC3 costs 30(ish) dollars for 2 cds, two amazing campaigns, the ability to make your own maps, and play online for free. And it has realitively bad graphics. So anybody claiming to be paying 15 dollars for WC3 is an idiot. On a side note, have you ever played any other games?? Runescape is not that good of a game when compared.

This post is dumb. RS is not a healthy addiction. You gain nothing from it. Its just a game and sure, you talk to people but in what MMORPG do you not?? (not to mention half the people I try to talk to are borderline [developmentally delayed]ed) This game is not keeping you out of trouble... I could smoke a joint while I play, how is that keeping me out of trouble?? Now if I were to go out and play soccer or basketball (or w/e) that would be keeping me out of trouble.

I find almost any game where there are "lvls" are filled with noobs and little kids. These games are almost all click games where skill is not needed and patience and luck is. Take a game like Starcraft, idiot noobs don't play it because they don't have the patience, brain power, or skill to mirco 50-100 units. On the subject of WoW i wouldn't know. People who play SC and WC3 tell me that WoW is filled with noobs. I wouldn't know since I don't play it but it looking at and reading about it it just seems like a maplestory/runescape with good graphics. And I'm not biased either.... I play WC3 and SC both made by blizzard.

People going for exp didn't use the abyss. It was good exp but fast laws (w99?) or fast airs (w16?) was better and thats what people used. So I don't think it will change anything, people who craft for money will still use abyss and people going for exp will just switch from laws and airs to new altar. I think it may increase autoers though... With only pure essence being able to use I wouldn't be surprised to see prices go up.

I'm sure people thought about it. Possibly for the first year people thought they would release again suring christmas but after that first year I'm sure all doubts were confirmed and it was obvious they weren't going anywhere.

Maybe fletching, maybe rune arrows, maybe yew bows but remember as of now rangers are pretty balanced F2P, we really don't need that. I just thought though, since higher lvl monsters are kinda needed I wouldn't say no to green dragons. Not like they are in member only areas plus they would be pretty chalenging with only rune items. It would be nice for crafters to >.>

I'd say they probally are. They let them stay there to fuel members recources and keep them happy, to get skillers to get members, and to laugh. Its not hard to stop autoers. In fact just letting some people who woodcut daily have 'modship' would get rid of them.

That hammer and nails thing is beyond stupid BTW. I think people who say it are complete idiots and type it becasue they know the person is correct but just want to disagree but have no real reason to disagree so they post a stupid little sig.

Because we put up with the ill-treatment from Jagex. If something is wrong in other games players actually stop playing and demand that they are fixed instead of whining. Jagex laughs to because they know that they are in total control. Most kids who play Runescape are totally addicted and wouldn't stop playing if you gave them a million dollars. Wait nvm, they would stop, make a new account, and use the million dollars to purchase gold.
