Hex works on some weird things- if they have a magic max hit, hex might work. Apparently dread has at least one magic attack, or else the potential to do one was programmed into him and then scrapped.

Re: logging out to drop, I'm pretty sure keeping one column free and pro mousekeysing them is much faster, at least for my computer. Logging involves a lot of loading time and then finding the stuff you need from your pile. You can also mouskey drop 4 fish between baxe hits if you save as much dropping as you can for GDs.

How would I know there's a pickaxe? It's a noob boss I haven't fought solo or c6 in over a year O_o

The runes it gives you aren't enough to reliably solo bulwark, but the pickaxe in the room solves that problem. Grimy, it could just be your fishing level. Might get much better as you get to the higher 90s.

wat Oh and Grimy I just saw 4 crab spots and 7 moray spots in one dungeon, average seems to be over 5.

On a related note, wtf do on bulwark beast? I usually don't have enough runes to kill it (with t9 blazer), can't make more, can't buy more, and can't get a pickaxe. I have to waste several minutes- wrathing it to death. Wat do?

It's probably a combination of lack of cosmics and lower fishing level. At 96 fishing (same as xpx) I keep on seeing like 4 moray spots lumped together in the same room, it's crazy.

Hmm... were you fishing everything or just morays? Did you have cosmics? Could also be your lower fishing level, but I wouldn't expect two levels to be that big of a difference.

Alex is correct- recent updates increased the frequency of resources in dungeons, and I believe also the speed at which you fish. It's now extremely fast fish exp.

This is a good idea. You'll need a lot of healing at first, it takes practice to switch on time every time. Also make sure you have some panic brews.

Do whatever floors you would normally C1 as a C2, and fish every spot you see on the way. Powerdrop the fish as necessary. Best results if you (temporarily, of course) bind cosmics and gate key doors so you can quickly traverse the dungeon.

He only does that because he had no choice, it would have worked otherwise. It's the exact same principle as a Sara solo. I agree that binding might be easier though.

My team ended up binding it and then hexing/surging it until dead. I tried melee and died twice very quickly, and then I had a pot door to do so I left and they finished while I was finishing the dungeon. As Michael said, blaster ring might be a good idea. Dread got unsafespotted as well? [cabbage]. Either way, it seemed like people with surges were doing a lot less dying on hope devourer. The only way I saw to not get comboed faster than you can eat is to bind it and stay out of range.

Aah, yeah, that's a good point. Maybe what I will do is bind cosmics, do my C2s, rebind laws, and then bind the first surgebox I see and hang on to that until I have to do C2s again.

I do key, but I still find myself wishing I had a surgebox a LOT, both because I DPS sometimes and because of certain bosses.

Slightly separate from the token rewards themselves, you also get faster tokens the higher your level due to having more floors open, essentially making your token rewards more and more disposable. It's a much bigger deal to lose a rapier at 80 DG than 115. Additionally, higher dungeoneering level gets you to higher bosses, which means better binds like primal platebody, battleaxe, and 2h. And of course you get more binds at 50, 100, and 120 DG.

Does that mean that Goraks drop this stuff like crazy? Edit: no, it doesn't. Killed goraks with a row for half an hour and didn't get a single drop they didn't have before. It's possible not all monsters with the rare drop table got these new drops.

If you're going to stick with rcbow, you should really switch to rune bolts. They aren't horribly expensive and speed up kills significantly. Also if you stick with rcbow, a deflector would indeed be a good investment for use with barrows gloves. Do you really need the EE? If you don't, it'd be a good idea to swap in a spec weapon. Claws are best, obviously, but if that's out of your price range I'd consider Korasi's (use it on melee prayer) or d hally.

Well, Bandos has defense, so that might be part of it. But really, Bandos + fire cape > all.

Karil's xbow would be a good option for you if you're willing to spend more to speed up your kills. It kind of depends on your bank, though- in the long run, the faster kills WILL pay for the cost, but in the mean time if you have a small bank bolt racks could really take a chunk out of it. I noticed you said you were using void, d defender, AND barrows gloves. Wat?
