Are you a "Old Timer" or a "RS2 product"?
Saying Old Timer makes me sound really old... Can't I say I just started reeeally early? I began RS in November 2001.

10 January 2007 - Contact! And more!
The scarab just killed me when I was about to teleport away to safety and the ring of life failed me... I almost killed it too... I lost treasured items I've had since classic thanks to lag...

Are you an owner of a rare(s)?

barbarian assault rewards...
I disagree completely. This minigame isn't a challenge, the only challenge is getting a team that know how to play. CW has more of a challenge than this and requires some skills, whereas with BA you just go through the routine of killing/defending/etc. I disagree. I've played hundreds of Castle Wars matches and I can safely say it's hardly a challenge since: 1: All you need to win a game is to be on a higher level group than the opposing team. 2: It's a bloody capture-the-flag game. See Warsong Gulch in World of Warcraft and every other first-person shooter there is. 3: You don't need ALL of the players to be efficient to win in Castle Wars whereas Barbarian Assault NEEDS all the players to do their job or a game is lost. 4: Any time you win a game in Castle Wars you ALWAYS get points regardless of performance while you might get NONE at all if you did a horrible job in Barbarian Assault (it happened to me when the healer didn't use his horn -.-) The only minigame that can compare to this one's challenge is the Fishing Trawler even though players in it can do every role immediately. To be good at cw, you need skill, to be good at ba you need to learn a repetitive pattern of gameplay. *blows horn* *picks up eggs* *loads eggs* *blows horn* *picks up eggs* *etc* *etc* You do that on the 10th level when the Horn is disabled. :-k

This is the first truly challenging feature Jagex has ever created.

[Barbarian Assualt] Impression after 10 hours of playing.
I just had a team with the healer being clueless (He didn't use the horn and even said "I cant pick the eggs") and his friend blaming it on dyslexia... Would you go see an art gallery if you're blind? Would you play football (soccer for americans) if your legs are disabled in someway? It's the same for this game, if you're not smart enough to understand the game rules don't even bother.

~ .:: Wyvern mystery finally solved ! - no elem shield ::. ~
Saying that is like saying you don't need an anti-dragonbreath shield to fight dragons or insulated gloves for killerwatts or earmuffs for banshees or noseplugs for ebberant specters... May I go on?

Geting dragon chain same odds as zammorak switching sides??
Mourning's End Part 3 To the topic creator: No. Have you ever heard of metaphors?

Arrggggghhhh!
Back when I was doing Legends Quest on classic, I arrived to the part where you need to cast an orb enchant spell and I had to spend a whole day trying to get me one or two. Thankfully a very nice (and famous) player gave me half a dozen for free. ^^

Just saying - Comparison between RS and other MMORPG
Difference #6: In RunEscape, players have over a hundred things to do with over 15 skills that don't involve combat and dozens of quests leaving gameplay very open to the player. In Ragnarok, there isn't much anything else to do than fight and grind long hours (even days) just to get to a reasonably high level. It took me a month of nonstop play at double experience rate in one week to reach level 68 for my secondary job change. Advantage: RunEscape. PS. What RS doesn't have over RO is another thing: Monks. ^^

Are the new skill guide npc's a good idea?
It's a good update in itself, but you can see for yourself the vast majority who even used them were NOT new players.

Rod of Ivandis or Lunar Staff?
Silver staff with a weird symbol or a carved dramen staff with a bird carving on top... I'll pick the latter.

Rate the Reindeer Hat!!!(out of 10) *keep bumped*
People dissed the scythe a lot back when it came out and it's one of the best, if not the best, looking holiday drops in Runescape. Therefore I give the hat a 6/10, since I wanted another interesting toy this time like the yo-yo and marionette.

Best year to play RuneScape?
2002, the year Elvarg died and I became a member (I started at the end of 2001). It took a lot of nagging, two of my friend's partyhats and an afternoon but it was well-spent. ^^

Party hats, would people wear them if.....
Call me childish but there was a Spongebob episode that reflects this exact situation, where he found one of those quirky drinks-on-cap hats and people were offering lots of money for it because it was unique. His boss after knowing he got it from a graveyard went gravedigging for one and the following day it became as common as dirt, rendering it worthless. Moral: People only want things that are rare regardless of aesthetic value. If the Earth's crust was made of diamond nobody would really crave them.

Mjolnirs
Some rares are useless and people still buy them, why would this dying item be any different?

Your Wish ...
Would wishing for the community to finally fix itself to much to ask for?

WHO IS OLD SCHOOL HERE
Whatever it is, bringing nostalgia to classic players won't really get you brownie points. Other than "Wow, you've been playing for way too long." replies it didn't get me much else. :P

Your favourite party hat?
Blue, from my favourite colour; Yellow, from my bank. :P

Has the drop rate of clue scrolls gone down?
I'm getting MORE clues than I ever used to. :-k
