What have you learned in runescape today?
That after six years of play, raising your skills becomes a tedious chore. #-o

You Know You're Old-School When...
So pkin'g with andrew TOMMOROW would make me old school? :-k Not pking with, being pked. He used to have time to play with us before he got too busy to keep the game as it is now. :-k

You Know You're Old-School When...
Watching the Will Ferrell film. Runescape-wise, being player killed by Andrew or having a Jagex mod as a friend can be fairly considered old school. :P

Monday Poll: Why did you become P2P?
My friend told me members have baby booties to wear (any coloured footwear looked like that) and I curious to see. :P

gf's & bf's
While we didn't "date" in the game, me and my partner found each other there for the first time. There were also several occasions on Runescape players marrying in real life. Ask anybody who were around when Jagex posted it on the news several years ago. People can find love anywhere, but they can't abuse the term to scam others like those low level players do.

HYT
I rarely go on world 99, since my home world is 23. I'll call if I get on there but I don't want to sound like an idiot. ^^;

20 lvl 2277s, is that just too much?
Progress. Get over it. #-o

Party hat set - Items kept on death
Is that actually acurate? That would be pretty ironic too, since America's colors are red, white, and blue, and jagex castle is located in Europe. Erm... Anyway, you'll probably keep either the first three, the last three or any at random. Street prices don't determine real item values.

I bet you never knew... ~\500+ facts collected/~
Did you know... A dragon's favourite food is runite, yet most people wear it when fighting them? It's like wearing a bacon suit and postman bag in a dog pound.

WHEN WAS YOUR REVELATION
I still think I'm a newbie, even if I am technically a Runescape Classic Veteran.

"It's Better to be Lucky Than Good"
100% untradable and stackable drops off monsters to trade for items reminds me of World of Warcraft. You have to look at it on both sides: Good: There's no probability involved to get something. Bad: The item eventually loses its value and prestige (people in WoW who ever had a dungeon set armour know what I'm talking about). Ugly: It will become so common people will complain about there not being an accomplished set of armour.

Autobuyers: The Goldfarming Community's Secret Weapon
thats as close to racism as you can get in runescape I call it utilitarian; anyone would realise by now the majority (90% at least) of the farmers and autoers don't change their look, having a male bald guy with a goatee wearing green trousers and khaki shirt... :-k

The WORST mistake that you made............
Replace dropping with giving them to friends and that's my story.

What was so darn good about classic?
The only bad thing I remember in classic was Paul and Mod Bennett playing around with Lumbridge castle's black hole with me being the test subject when I found it out. You could get in a black hole by going up the ladder in a certain angle with puts you inside the wall, which you could then cross over to the black side of the area. The staff was very close to the community going as far as playing with them! I'm sure the pkers of the time remembered Paul or Andrew cheating by going on the nature rune island shooting everyone with their bow, or when Varrock's bank storage was used as a jail for the Gower's entertainment... Paul was also the first person to start the drop party fad, but I haven't been around that far back to remember it. I admit though, the transition from certs to notes was a huge upgrade.

What would be the most useless item to have irl?
Bones? They would be just creepy. Rabbit ears would be useful if I could get a guy to fall for me if I wore them, hm...

Our Drop System?
You Talk like its common Fact. i yet to see proof of anything saying there is such a wheel lol. Jagex mods gave out information about this in several questions, and this is what I've gathered. While I cannot trace the original messages since they were deleted you have every right to ask them anything yourself. :P

Our Drop System?
The drop rate system is split into wheel of fortune style which means when a monster dies, a wheel is spun landing on several common drops, nothing and a rare slot. When it lands on the rare slot, another wheel spins which determines the kind of rare item you recieve: "gem" category (all the regular gems, half keys, half the dragon square shield and the dragon spear; any monster that drops a gem can drop any of these), equipment and others. Those not in the rare wheel are: Currency, Runes, Clue Scrolls, Bones, Hides, Ammunition, Challenge Scrolls, The "junk" equipment, And possibly others. The ring of wealth does not affect any of the above item drops; Only what you might gain from the rare wheel (i.e. More frequent diamonds from the gems, higher chances to get the dragon parts) is. That is mostly common knowledge for most people.

The positive effects of playing Runescape
*It teaches you the value of work. *It teaches unique social skills, such as never be too trusting of someone you hardly know. *Alternative addiction to deadlier kinds such as smoking, drugs and alcohol. *It kept me virgin up till now... Okay, not very important, but some of my old friends are mothers already... There's a lot of things which made the game give a positive influence.

Safe-ing
Why is "safe-ing" even a term...? People seem to verbify everything that doesn't make sense now.
-
Autobuyers: The Goldfarming Community's Secret Weapon
I have a better idea: Look for ALL the accounts that use the default look and delete them.
-
Autobuyers: The Goldfarming Community's Secret Weapon
1: As long as the game is popular, there will be gold farmers. 2: Unfortunately Jagex can't magically make them all go away and block them from ever returning. They ARE doing something, even if for every 100 they catch another 300 get in.

Has King Black Dragon lost it's crown? (A Real Discussion)
The poor king really needs a revision... Bump him by about 100 levels, give him the standard boss treatment of having all styles of combat and make each head attack separately. These three modifications would generally make put him in top tier with the others and nearly impossible to fight singlehandedly. As for a drop... It's only fair the king drops the most elusive of treasures: The dragon platebody. Not before he's severly pumped up in power. In any case, this is a debate on whether or not the first non-quest boss introduced in Runescape should be reviewed to fit the current new entries. As of now, the KBD is a joke compared to any of the other bosses... Let's recall the others for a bit: The Kalphite Queen: The first boss added on the new engine, and made a big bang by showing off a lot of difficulty to kill. The Chaos Elemental: Putting the high level of the wilderness aside, this is a very annoying boss fight. The Giant Mole: Although not very strong, it keeps tunnelling throughout the whole dungeon which makes it a lengthy fight. The Thzok-Jad (AKA gargantuan magma lizard): Explaining is pointless. The Dagannoth King Trio: With each fitting a combat style, it's a must to go in a group to challenge them. See a connection?

Ancient Pages *Updated List*
I haven't found any of these yet, but wishful thinking brings me to believe this might be a secret miniquest. :-k

What after Rune dragons
As seen from the museum dragons feed themselves on runite... I don't think they would go for cannibalism.

if you could have any RS item in real life...
The catspeak amulet, fixed device and Excalibur would make really nice collectables. :P
