  1. Wearing bunny ears shuts them up. Anyway, I can understand how you feel though they were just acting childishly. The absolute best actions you can do when you encounter people like this are: Use big words, Be sarcastic, Make them look like idiots in an assertive way, Put them on your ignore list as you'll probably never see them again...
  2. Usually, it's much better to set a more recurring goal (get 1k of said fish) than to actually spend weeks doing the said skill. It gives your mind a break.
  3. You can't compare cowhides with feathers. For one, feathers stack and chickens drop multitudes of them; not forgetting feathers can also be obtained through hunting birds.
  4. He wants to win easily. :-k
  5. I for one suggested the legends guild to be expanded through quests some years ago, much in a similar way you need to be a temple knight to do Tiffy's quests, a Fremennik for the following quests, a black guard for the troll quests, etc. What I found most disappointing, this was the last update on Runescape classic. It was quickly overshadowed by other things in a couple of months... My biggest letdown would have been finally putting up a dragon square shield, when better offhands were released. I also never use it for fear of losing it.
  6. The dragon halberd is one of the better designed weapons in the game, why would they change it? If anything else, they should start updating the older weapon animations such as daggers, swords, battleaxes and scimitars.
  7. The fight pits are the safe wilderness. The end justifies the means. PS. I never did this minigame.
  8. I know a couple, though I wouldn't reveal who they were for obvious reasons. They're fairly normal outside of the spotlight. :-k
  9. And to think this was the most coveted and most expensive item on Runescape... Ah well, times change and people get greedier. :P
  10. From personal experiences in WoW compared to Runescape: Every five minutes a Chinese farmer/bot would spam my chat box with ads, log off, make a new character and does it again. It never happened in Runescape. The materials in the auction house were mostly sold by said rulebreakers and the legit offers were bought to avoid competition, eventually monopolising the market. WoW's main income in the endgame comes from selling grinded items off mobs. You tend to neglect your professions or reset to enchanting/jewelcrafting since they're the only professions that can be used after you have items better than the best possible item made from your former profession. Why someone would keep hammersmith for Stormherald when they have the Torch of the Damned would be beyond me... Runescape has dozens of ways one could make his wealth and I'm sure they wouldn't forget a skill that easily just because they've gotten a godsword. Also, WoW doesn't have the generous option to switch server if a particular spot is taken (mostly by bots/farmers). If a group has the green dragons all for themselves you'd just switch world... You can't do that in WoW. Even if the farmer is in the opposite faction, they'd just go in an account with the same faction as yours and keep farming for gold. It's MUCH MUCH WORSE in WoW. Don't even dare come telling me WoW's situation is better than RS's. It isn't at all.
  11. The thing is, people don't want to see this flooded with hacked, killed, lured, scammed or whatever topics. Besides, a rants forum is quite different than help and advice: Rant: The ranged style is overpowered! H&A: Any tips for a new mage to become more efficient?
  12. I can't see you or talk to you, so I judge you by the ignorant statements you fire off on here. My method of judgment is the same for everyone. I call 'em like I see 'em. Indeed, contradicting yourself in the same post is humourous. :P
  13. I didn't dream about the game persay... More of being transported into it in a manner similar to the Digimon games. Considering my hometown is a 500-year old baroque city it doesn't help much against it.

People in the party room yelling, "Don't drop noob stuff!" when they're just there to leech.
  15. There's no need to flame... As I recall it was because of AR the whole dupe incident happened in the first place, not a bug in the game itself. If it were, they wouldn't have used the bot at all. Hacking is a means to manipulate data through protected sources. Using a third party program to glitch the game IS hacking. You see blindly calling someone you barely know anything about an idiot is being a hypocrite.
  16. Making the game downloadable won't change a thing. Ever heard of oriental MMORPGs? Those with GameGuard? People effortlessly make sure it doesn't interrupt them and in some games this makes it easier to HACK the game instead and not just bot; Only ONCE did Runescape get hacked without the abuse of a bug. Impossible items? Are you serious? Try getting a full tier set in World of Warcraft. Even the lowest of a set level (tier 1 for 60, tier 4 for 70) would do and it would STILL take you months. Trust me, I've been playing the game for two years and barely completed a whole set. In Runescape a barrows set can easily be obtained alone. You don't need 25/40 other people to try it out or to compete with them for it. Don't get me started on games like Ragnarok Online. Jagex bans at least 4,000 botters and related accounts (a lot at high levels) weekly. iRO is infamous for having 90% of the community full with bots; it's partly the reason most prefer playing on private servers. Though WoW has less bots (they do exist), it's overpopulated by Chinese farmers and you'll never see a capital city without a new character of theirs with jumbled up letters for a name yelling out advertisements to buy gold from their site! I've never seen them do that in Varrock or Falador! I mean seriously... Right in the middle of a crowded area! Sorry, I know you're right about the situation getting out of hand but one has to realise Jagex is an independant company and managed to raise their small game with less than 5000 players into one of the most popular online games in the net with millions of subscribers. A million members can't possibly be disillusioned by lies. I know lies. Blizzard lies about improving the game and keep dangling bait, Jagex TRY.
  17. The vial market was stupid in the first place. Why should we pay 100 gp for an empty glass vial? Why should people pay 100+ for cowhides, snape grass, red spider eggs and other things that can be easily aquired? Speed. The infinite stock just made the sale of vials obsolete.
  18. Out of the countless people in my friend list, I only START a conversation with about three. Then again, I'm not so popular.
  19. Wow... You just think about it and agree. It's a money drain as you're giving the money to the NPC never to see the light of day again. Smart. Not a lot could come up with this. :P
  20. Lol. XD Okay okay... I agree with most of you say, but you can't really expect to stop the illegal trades going on without a consequence now can you?
  21. Just a heads up, the Culinomancer's Chest shops are player stock only.
  22. The cape of legends, it gets glorified again! :o

It could also be the area as well as the connection. Sure, me having ADSL from the best ISP in Malta makes it impossible to have lag in UK worlds, still... :-k
  24. Well, there's a whole anti-nonhuman organisation in the game so I assume there IS racism. Bias towards other players exists also.
  25. ... What world does he go in? :o
