  1. I've been in 8 and 9 ever since Runescape 2 came out. I just hang around because I admire what Jagex did.
  2. Santa hats were being sold for at least 100k on Christmas day (the day of the drop) which was the time Andrew realised people were misinterpreting the reason he was dropping holiday gifts around Runescape in the first place and henceforth they became untradable; starting with the bunny ears. History lesson aside, there will never be another tradable holiday item. Ever.
  3. Blame Paul for that. He started it. :-w
  4. If you can manage it and skilled enough, you could build up an in-game "sweatshop". The idea behind it is having several people work for you at once gathering materials for you, you pay them, work the things off and make more money then repeat the cycle. Of course the skill referred to here is management rather than one implemented in the game. :P
  5. The argument 'for' depends entirely if the type of customisation is either "enchantment" or "free modification". We've already seen enchantment in the game, though what happens isn't the item being upgraded but replaced (you'll get this if you're a game programmer). For instance, you can enchant a sapphire ring to turn it into a ring of recoil; The ring of recoil MIGHT be an enchant sapphire ring but it's actually an entirely new item on its own. This is the system Jagex currently uses. The latter is similar to a more advanced game such as Morrowind or Final Fantasy VII (to pick popular examples): These games, while having a set number of items, allowed you to modify them in a way to give you special abilities or enhance the item itself. Jagex might implement this but it is highly time-consuming and considering the majority of players (members), drop their rune weapons as soon as they get their hands on a dragon weapon it's more of a "filler" update which takes too long to implement... They'd have to modify the equipment system altogether! I'm for the first and against the second. :-$
  6. ... Swordfish and tuna? :-k
  7. I'm honest... If I don't want someone on my list, I tell them I'm not adding them. I very very rarely PK and even rarer step in the abyss to answer the rest.
  8. creepy..what with the bust on you-know-what-people going on (watch news, wont say) but being someone who suffers depression a good cleavage upside her head with a d long (or arrow) will serve her right. Aurian, i didnt think legends was in rsc..although i only played for 4 months (and miss red phat now) but the year cape does sound nice, shows our knowledge, but ppl like me playing for long time, will only imply to the age of account creation. City of Heroes and Villains featured a reward system for those playing their game for a set amount of time, including wings on the sixth month. A n anniversal item would be nice. :P Oh, and Legends Quest was the last quest in Runescape Classic. I was there. ^^
  9. I wonder if anyone can take the coincidental reference besides me... http://img407.imageshack.us/my.php?imag ... lesuw5.png
  10. I want to be a lumberjack... :-k
  11. Aw... I used to escort people through that maze all the time...
  12. What about dragon mace users? I haven't seen one since the release of RS2, except me which I use on occasion.
  13. My costume room.
  14. I think they're referring to things that are normal but are censored nonetheless... Like the last part of my RSN. -.-;
  15. A peach, a banana and an apple walked into a bar. The peach rambled, "Hey, those two are more common than I am!"; The apple retorted, "What? You two have the most popular flavours!"; Finishing her drink Banana responds, "At least you two aren't the laughing stock of fruits, me associated with-" At the same moment, the Barman interrupted the quarrelling bunch saying, "I know what will fix your problems." then proceeded to grab all three fruits, put them in a mixer and shook them into a glass. It was the best drink Walter Melon ever drank.
  16. The "missing" display 30 is supposedly the new way to get the statuette for the golem quest. Remember having to steal it from the cupboard before?
  17. For f2p- Your first combat skill-Attack, I think. Your first non combat skill-Woodcutting Your first memorisable achievement? Getting 60 mining in three hours. XD Your first f2p quest? Shield of Arrav. For P2p (after f2p)- Your first non combat members skill-Herblaw Your first memorisable members achievement? Getting in the heroes guild (biggest was entering the legends guild) Your first mingame-Gnomeball. Your first quest? Druidic Ritual.
  18. Most of my adventure gear varies though my most common is: A mining helmet/crown, Amulet of glory, Ring of charos (activated), Cooking gauntlets, Cape of legends (RSC factor :D), Boots of lightness, Book of balance.
  19. From last year, I raised a combat level and five total levels. Go me! ^^
  20. The worst is the end of the wilderness, and that is undisputable. The scariest would be Dimension X, where the Goraks are... It looks apocalyptic.
  21. My level 3 self never was on tutorial island... Am I still eligible? :P I'd ward myself off, or at least not be so stupid as to give away my extra party hats... I'd be settled today.
  22. Some clarifications: Rock: It's used for making floating toadies to catch big jubblies during and after Recipe for Disaster. Disk of Returning: It used to teleport you out of the black hole a dwarf would send you in for fun. Tortoise Shells: You can now sell them to an NPC in Dorgesh-Kaan for the high alchemy price. What to exclude from the useless category: -All equipment, -All quest items, -All edible items, -All materials in trade skills, -Miscellaneous items that still have a use. Hope that helped. :P
  23. Everyone seems to forget the spear's second effect: It stuns the target. Did you forget it can be poisoned as well, having equal attack stats in all categories except magic and ranged? Don't diss the axe, it was the best weapon in Runescape classic. :(
