  1. This is clear evidence that... We WILL get the yodelling skill in the future! :
  2. no, because slayer has made so much $ for people, farming has made soo much $ for people. and construction has saved so much $ for people. and its made a huge impact on the economy, and from what duke freedom wrote it does alot...good or bad who cares it did... quests dont really change the economy much, look @ "dragon" and "barrows" gloves same magic attack as infinity gloves and still people pay almost 1mil for inf gloves. wakka has had 89 whip drops, and @ 2mil each(i know some were worth more) thats 178m at LEAST. farming, ive heard some people buying red party hats thru farming ranarrs, if a red party hat was like 100mil thats alot of farming and alot of $ construction, drained inflation alot and then allowed for things like the barrows repair stand and other stuff. it made people some $ for building flat packs and paying for guilded altar useage what the hell do you do in your spare time? I don't really give a hoot about the economy. All I play Runescape for is fun.
  3. Skills are nice but can you really compare Slayer, farming and construction to Desert Treasure, Recipe for Disaster and Mourning's End 2? :-k
  4. You have all been Shao Khan-ed. =D>
  5. Yeah atleast Jagex did the graphics right and made em look good at a long distance. Silly non-existant god getting his fashion ideas wrong. He really needs to update there graphics with a new RL patch. Plenty of patches he could do if he existed. A little off-topic, but please don't diss people's beliefs. Yes I am catholic and believe that god exists. After all, it's all about faith. :P
  6. You mean to tell me my character has eaten hundreds of THAT THING? EW! >.
  7. All my RSC pictures are lost, so the oldest has to be... This was in the RS2 beta when they let us test our own stuff. :P
  8. Soap shoes on Sonic Adventure? This can be both a good and a bad thing. It may get more players, but what kind of players are they? Ask yourselves that.
  9. It's not that easy to simulate a metal that doesn't exist especially with a limited program like I use. Thanks for the opinions though. ^^
  10. I never said I finished the textures and besides this is an angular view... Unfortunately I've been having a lot of trouble having the halberd's blade like I want it to seeing it clipped out of the "roots" from the apparently-steel material used in all the weapons. I'll update these soon, including the dragon battleaxe and 2h sword as well in the picture. :P EDIT: I forgot to mention, I can't afford to use an expensive program like Max so I'll have to stick with Anim8or for modelling.
  11. Sharane replied to nicrune007's topic in Art and Media
From modeller to modeller, I personally prefer the first model. It's true to Runescape's original shape. Adding more specularity of the sharp edges would really enhance it. :)
  12. I'll see what I can do, thankees. :P
  13. After the first two I made, I decided to show two other weapons I made with no particular niceness added this time: The spear and halberd. Comments please. :
  14. If a quest is supposed to be challenging, why use a guide? :-k Whenever I'm doing an activity and the quest topic springs up, people start blabbering on how easy the hardest quests in Runescape are. I laugh at most of them, since they deny using guides. One such example was desert treasure. I died twice not knowing what to expect in that quest then somebody who did it at a pretty low expected combat level says it's easy and never died on it? They either did it before or used a guide... :-s To answer your question, I hate quest guides. They ruin the fun of doing quests... And I loved the Forgettable Tales. ^^
  15. This doesn't look like any 3D modelling programs I use... Which is it? :-s
  16. Simple: They were pioneers in their own doing. For instance Blue was the first player to reach 99 smithing, which at the time was a very difficult feat. On the other hand, Musashi's plan on "free smithing" lead to the drastically low costs of Rune equipment in a short timespan, making them very easily affordable to the Runescape population. Of course, the current generation of Escapers is mostly full of newbies who have no idea who these people are and their impact on the game. :P Just to clarify, because I know Musa's ears are probably burning right now. But he only started free smithing for the public when a number of other smithers had done so for quite some time, he was never the pioneer of free smithing. Rune items were always steadily dropping, but they did take a massive hit when Zezima reached rune smithing. Whitemagem came into the equation well after the rune market had it's day, he was a second time round smither in the greater scheme of things. Oh well... It was still thanks to him I managed to finish the Legends quest. :-w
  17. If a new set of armour would be introduced, it'll be on the 80 mark first.
  18. Not d'oh, duh. It was held by a monster at the very end of the wilderness after all. :P
  19. I copied the design off the game just like the axe (and it's in an odd position so the lights aren't reflecting the shininess). There's another without any lights. :P
  20. Well this is a first for me so... Seeing Jagex is finally accepting fanart I've decided (with a little tutoring from my brother) to try my hand at modelling and send some of them to Pete. Obsessions with weapons aside, I took these specifically for two reasons: 1: The dragon axe was the best weapon in Runescape classic (Power). 2: The dragon 2h sword was released alongside the Chaos Elemental (Chaos). Any criticisms accepted, I'm still new at this.
  21. The Runescape version of the Simpson's Aliens will get ya... :anxious:
  22. Correct. The closest one has ever gotten to hack Runescape is through a certain something that caused the dupe incident.
  23. Legends quest. The first Nezikchened fight. On classic. I almost died. o_O
  24. GL with that mate, every game that is popular will always have hackers, ALWAYS. it's simple. On-Topic: i have never been hacked, get a good anti-virus and firewall, scan you comp every week and you're fine. Oh btw, GL with brute force to the 1 who mentioned it. CRackers. Crackers and hackers are two distinct things. :-k wow, it sure looks like i really care what you call them? i say hackers, and i wont change it. It's called being accurate. Can I honestly say a car is a lorry? They're both land vehicles but not the same.
  25. Unless you have 60 smithing, you have to pay to use the furnace. \ All hail to the unofficial smithing guild!
