can someone please quickly tell me how slayer points work again? im using duradel currently, after my first 4 tasks i think i got 15, 30, 45, 60 and 75 points and since then i have got 15 points each task, and i am on my fifteenth task or something, is this true? if so, do i just get 15 points per task forever? how much exp do i get for 400 points? if i learn to craft a slayer helm, do i just use the items with each other? cheers helpful to know the 50 tasks thing thanks, it would be good to know the amount of points as well. one last thing: if i cancel a task (through duradel with points) are the number of tasks completed reset?

i (like everyone else) enjoy reading banned books, it makes the book forbidden fruit (which is the best thing an author can ask for, sales/promotion wise) my favourite was the satanic verses by salman rushdie, i should look this up but i think the entire muslim world put a jihad on him or something it had some pretty clear (on the line) themes though

Be thankfully you get even 1 update a month. i dont understand why people are reacting so angrily, im just comparing the 2 systems of updates and saying at the moment i prefered the old one usually when a change to the game occurs people make threads and either thrash it or love it immediately, at least i took a few weeks to try this one out before making my judgment and posting it

praying during slayer: not really necessary?
nickeley102 replied to nickeley102's topic in Help and Advice
[/thread] not necessarily, its a matter of personal opinion, i didnt say that my main priority was slayer experience, i do save a lot of money on prayer pots and im honestly not concerned with the extra 1k exp an hour which will add to me getting 0.1% closer to 85 slayer per level i get. and will eventually enable me to make more money in the unlikely event this happens. ill just save the money now its poor judgment to argue that there is any definitive solution that will answer any question, let alone one so open as this, like everything its a case by case basis [\restart thread] -
lloyd and dolly are the same letters mixed up (i cant remember what this is called), i think it would be cute if there were a brother and sister with those names

sorry, that stuff just cracks me up, OT: money equals exp in runescape, so its indistinguishable from skills, unless its used for items to show off which i think is becoming less and less common you will get a range of replies to this, i hope it doesnt digress into an argument

rrarrgh not another one! TAKE YOUR QUESTION TO THE RSOF IMMEDIATELY!

praying during slayer: not really necessary?
nickeley102 replied to nickeley102's topic in Help and Advice
i agree with your first 2 paragraphs but water fiends are the same for me, its easy enough to tele to shilo or whatever, recharge summoning points, bank, and tele back to barbarian outpost and get back into your task i still get 50+ a load -
i have been training my slayer a lot lately but i am also especially concious of my money supply so i just quit using prayer pots for medium level monsters. so far i have done 2 abby spec tasks (both nearly 200), 3 goraks tasks (maybe 150 all up) and a waterfiends task (187) although all the guides recommend that i pray, i havent and i just use my bunyip and i can always get 70+ monsters per trip of 20 monks. so i tele around and bank and get more monks and im sure it is much more money efficient and only slightly less time efficient i fish my own monks and make ny own bunyips so its all free. i guess this is more advice than help; but i recommend people try medium level monsters without using pray pots and blindly following the guides before they decide to use pray pots on medium level monsters im not bashing the guides (i use them all the time (thanks inushakent)) and i realise i may have slightly higher levels than some guide users. but thats just my spin on the situation loved my gorak tasks by the way; 30 quickfire slayer points
-
just woke up and am studying in bed while doing an abby spec task. its going ok i guess, comparing and contrasting the polish and romanian revolutions of 1989. lousy soviets, and now somebody is keylogging and tracking my computer and my flat is being watched by a satellite

While they mentioned two new minigames in the last Behind The Scenes they didn't say they would both be out next month, just that they are "coming soon". I predict one of the them be out next month, and the other maybe the month after. if what you say is true and oct, nov and dec give us pvp, combat minigame and combat minigame. that means for players like me who dont like combat minigames get a possible 3 useful updates in 3 months whereas before we would have got a possible 12. i havent pvped yet and it doesnt appeal, neither do combat minigames maybe i am jumping the gun, im not going to threaten to quit or attempt to start a riot, but at the moment i prefered the old system. and i do appreciate the updates i get at the moment for $5

we were talking about this in my hostel when i earnt my nickname. my last name is eley so i said i would call my child monop, so his name would be monop eley, or 'monopoly'. so thats what people, alot of people, call me now. i have become quite fond of it monop, for a boy or girl. other entries (boys): kakarotto, axle, boynini, other entries (girls): girlnini, i would also consider nobody, so when people said 'nobody's perfect' he could say 'why thank you'. but the other thriteen billion times he had to give someone his name will probably be a negative experience.

It'll be significantly worse. None of the barrows weapons are really any good for waterfiends. Sara sword/Zammy spear > Godsword > Barrelchest anchor. You should be able to easily sell back the z spear when you don't need it, though. And if you got a Sara sword, I'm sure loads of people would pay you to borrow it. yea, just sell it back honestly i just use my bunyip with monks and i get 50+ a load of monks and save on the prayer pots

i think ideally they would do one month on one month off. i.e. one month with 2 updates, one with 4, repeat. but im not sure if this would be managable or if they have reliable keen staff they could just let them go at it without timelines or have staff in charge of small regular updates and staff in charge of large updates and just let them at it in their own time

bit of respect for your late auntie... way too many smilies for the mourning period, try this one

i understand this concept and took it into account when i originally saw the behind the scenes i believe if you ask me in 2010 i hopefully wont be playing runescape, but i will tell you the same thing, i prefer more updates
-
when the behind the scenes came out and jagex introduced the new update situation (1 big, 1 little update a month) i thought i wouldnt like it. Now i know i was right, i miss my updates. what are your thoughts on the switch from bimonthly big updates to the weekly little updates?

I honestly believe that he lied, and this is my reasoning: Even after he found out that he was misinformed, he showed no remorse for invading a country on false evidence. To me, that means he had alterior motives to invading Iraq (of which I do not know 100%, but I would guess some unfinished business by Dad in the 90s and oil). He would have used any reason he had to go into Iraq as soon as it popped up, and that is as good as a lie to me. i think that is a reasonable argument, you cant wage a war under false premise and then not apologise (to the opposition population and your own population) when those reasons arent true and it is proven
