    Your work?

Im currently working in an ice factory. Its ok i guess, i really like working in a factory environment, but the hours are long and its too intense. my previous jobs were: Paper boy University assistant Diesel mechanic [bleep] boy Supermarket checkout boy Office assistant in a paper factory Restaurant dish [bleep] Bar glassy Cafe coffee maker Hotel barman Holiday programme assistant Office furniture installation restaurant dish [bleep] Waiter at an American country club Ice factory that's the first time I've typed all of those out, wow, 14 jobs and im only 22
  3. yep, my girlfriend does it, its wierd. Sometimes it makes me talk to myself #-o
  4. i like a nice indian butter chicken curry, i had deprivation symptoms when i was in the US for 3 months. but they dont have it anywhere whatsoever in the whole country. or the places i looked anyway, and if you asked somebody to make it for you, they get it completely wrong. people did look at you funny when you asked for a highlighter orange, radioactive-looking curry though
  5. I played 3 seasons in high school (for the 'social' firsts), good times. I hope you poms, and the rest of the uk, followed the recent grand slam tour please dont bring up the world cup, its too soon
  6. Beat me to it. A heartbeat rate of sixty per minute is considered low. Fifty beats per minute is considered to be bradycardia. A person with a heartbeat rate of one per minute is, for all intents and purposes, in cardiac arrest as blood (And oxygen) aren't being pumped through the body. In short, she or he would die in a matter of minutes :| I cant find one online sorry, but for what its worth, i read about it in new scientist. Links to articles on these people who apparently never sleep would be interesting
  7. I would be surprised if a single person in the world believed you...ever. What are you so angry about anyway?I don't give a flying [bleep] how many people believe me,I know the truth. And the truth is as I wrote. Nobody is arguing about whether you believe what you wrote or not. its whether it is fact
  8. I hear a lot of racist comments here on tipit. I have been going out with my Indian girlfriend for 3 years and she makes me happy. this is relationship advice, what are your thoughts in interacial relationships? she has already had some issues with her family and her seeing a white guy.
  9. but there are monks who can slow their heart rate down to one beat per minute, does this not recharge your body as well as sleep? if you control your body to relax it is much more 'restful' than sleeping
  10. I know about insomnia and all that but i was just wondering if there are people who dont sleep whatsoever, or for like weeks or months at a time
  11. I made this http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?f=37&t=762545, a similar topic a while ago except mine was about a knowledge bank which records how many of each monster you have killed etc. my topic got moved to questionnaires where it died quickly (needless to say), [/end whine] i think its a good idea and i dont hink i would be too sad seeing all the time i spent playing runescape, just interested. i think this (and the monster log) should become available
  12. I would be surprised if a single person in the world believed you...ever. +1... or -1... or just agree with above post
  13. I prefer pest control, its even simpler and has rewards which match time invested.
  14. is there a group who perform this regularly?/how do you arrange this?
  15. This is much better than my ideas, probably the explanation i agree with most thus far in the discussion
  16. I was really hoping to discuss how a series of noises can provide these things though. It seems like maybe I was wrong, and that there is no explanation why music is so popular The majority of folk songs have very prominent beats... Correct me if I'm wrong, but as far as I know, all music has rhythm. I thought traditional folk songs were used primarily to pass on stories and create shared experience. but in my experience you are right, they do have beats.
  17. I considered putting this in the music sub forum and it can be moved if you want, but its not a discussion of different types of music, its more philosophical. I read somewhere once that people enjoy music because it reminds them of their mothers heartbeat while they were in the womb. I don't really know whether this is a thorough enough explanation to explain the wealth of time, money and effort people pour into listening to and making music. So why do you think the music industry is so huge? What is the attraction for humans to music? Is it the heartbeat thing? Is it used as an accentuation of your personality? (EDIT: an anarchist may listen to punk etc) Is it just white noise? Is it an appreciation of the culmination of multiple people striking things and making a coherent set of noises? Is it something else/all of these things?
  18. i would find it very hard to move from the widescreen game that i play now to the tiny, pixelated game i played before the big graphics release
  19. thats true with any qualification, no one cares about your high school marks, or your university average, just your previous work experience when you are applying for jobs i would say even the first job you get isnt influenced too much by your scores, more whether you have leadership experience and can prove you are an honest hard worker. according to my brother and his friends you can change your scores and its not like your employer is going to check with your school or anything i have travelled and worked for 2 summers and have good references, this looks good on my cv, despite my (current) B- average from university
  20. i skiied for 8 years but switched to boarding 5 years ago i recommend the switch (or at least give it a go) to anyone who skis, its a completely different experience and the tricks are more varied, numerous and fun, in my opinion
  21. im fighting the last tormented demon and i didnt realise my ibans staff needed recharging. so now im down in the dungeon trying to finish the quest but he is praying melee, making it impossible. what are my options? does he run out of prayer? or do i have to tele and start the fight again? (rookie mistake, i know) edit: done the quest now, loved it, even though it took me 3 days. what should i do with my rewards to maximise the profits?
  22. im doing the bookcase part and was wondering about the statue scenario my weight at the moment is -1kg the thermometer is reading 6 tickits, according to the guide i need to minus the tickit value from my weight. that means i need to put -7kg on the statue. i dont see how this is possible do i just put 7kgs on? cheers EDIT: ill just try 5kgs and see how i go
  23. cant you use a super set and complete it without the cb level?
