  1. thats something i have always been aware of, the game is so open that there will never be a defining conclusion, and the more updates there, are the more things there are to do, and the less likely you are to get your sense of achievement even when you get all 99's there is a never ending quest for total exp and you think, 'well, if put all this time into it, i might as well keep going'. i think that because i have been aware that runescape is strictly a past time, and a means unto itself, i have never had the need to quit. it doesnt mean i dont inadvertantly take breaks, just that if i quit i probably wont realise it for a while i think i have achieved alot, but i still think all the time i have put into runescape does not equal 1 of the 'hard' 99's, its a little bit demoralising
  2. lets see some uploads people i am no good at linerider, i always just try to make one big jump (which usually fails), and then i am stuck for ideas the tip it theme sounds like a good idea, or else people could just steal them, couldnt they?
  3. try some different quest guides, they all use different pictures and different explainations. when i am stuck on quests sals guides are usually the best for me, or runehq. if you just read over the quest guides again im sure you will find your answer/where you are having trouble yes, yes (i like everybody else) use quest guides, and when they dont work i usually change quest guides instead of working it out for myself, which would probably be easier and more fulfilling...

  9. I am studying to be a teacher so i dont really need to study at all , jk,jk so when i start a study session i plan a 'learning outcome' which is written down and specific. such as 'by the end of this session i will be able to write a paragraph unaided on how each of these 5 happenings led to britain entering a war with germany in 1935' This is a teaching technique so you spend your session studying towards the goal and at the end of the session you test yourself by putting away your books and seeing if you can achieve your goal Usually its good to base the learning outcome depending on the type of exam question (i.e. short answer exam questions, short answer LO's etc). Its good because i find people, including myself, can walk out of after a whole day studying and suddenly think they cant say one thing they achieved from studying that day. but i can say to my self (at the end of every hour), i can definately do something i couldnt do before hope it helps!

  13. i heard this crazy theory once , which has now been thoroughly been disproven that there is no such thing as gravity, everything is just expanding really quickly (at the same proportionate rate), so when we jump we dont drop to hit the ground, the ground catches up with us. We dont notice this because everything is growing at the same rate this falls short because it doesnt really explain orbits
  14. if you start to smoke you will regret it, its not possible to reduce stress by inhaling smoke, it just adds to it

  16. alot of games store how many of each monster you have killed, and there is a way to access this information. wouldnt this be cool in rs? or would it jst be depressing (you have killed 128k goblins...) i think it would be fun to look back on all the different little assignments you did, like when i camped at the big frogs under lumbridge or premembers at moss giants. im not sure how taxing this would be on memory or how much programming would be required. this isnt a suggestion or a questionnaire, just wondering what this would/could be like
  17. i think that post applies better to gaming and the internet in general, not just rs. and the tail does not wag the dog, people, who spend their time on rs would still likely not socialise if rs didnt exist
