Read page 19 to see how much Jagex hates ME!!!!!
Iantiger replied to Hounded's topic in General Discussion
RSN: Iantiger I've been playing Runescape for a little over 4 years. I've always been honest, hardworking, trustworthy. Similarly I've been a member of tip it forums (old and new inclusive) for approx 3 years. I've been a member of my clan for 1.5 years. In all my experience, and time in Runescape, I've met some wonderful people (some of which I have accredited in my signature). I get along with the vast majority of people, and make new friends everyday whilst skilling. Despite my awe inspiring 1450 skill total and 104 combat  , I lead an active social life. I have what I consider to be a lot of friends, I have a girlfriend, a loving family, and an education, and I'm currently studying for a university degree. And I'm extremely unlucky. I don't think I've ever won anything in my life. So make my day, and let me win entry to your party ;) ~Ian -
The keypoint here is that it's illegal to have two or more of your accounts interact (i.e. have anything to do with each other) altogether. So this would be against the rules yes. ~Ian

No naming names remember ;) Lol 888Link Private > Friends and I never seem to have this problem :D ~Ian

how much people dont have enough cash for membership?
Iantiger replied to Kedar's topic in General Discussion
True, but: A year of Runescape is the same price as a year of Xbox Live. No argument over which has the better variety and quality of gameplay. But it IS good valuel compared to other Mporgs. Personally I've had a debit card for a couple of years now and don't have trouble paying for members (except sometimes when cash runs a lil thin). ~Ian -
Get with the groove. Guthix all the way. He's the most powerful, and most just of all the gods. Plus his armour looks awesome with white cape, boots and gloves. ~Ian

If a super genie lamp would lift a skill up to 99...

Smithing or Prayer or Herblore One of those 3 I think, but the final choice would be hard ~Ian -
Yeah there was a topic about this once. It's called Compulsive Examine Disorder (CED) or something like that... I'll see if I can dig it up for you. EDIT: Ta-da! http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=359 ... e+disorder ~Ian

Duke's right. Prices have been stable for years now. ~Ian

That's the worst idea I've ever heard. When I was playing ROSE online Free Public Beta, they reset the stats of everyone every so often, which really made a lot of people angry, myself included. Resets = bad idea. Furthermore, I think you know yourself your idea was a terrible one but you continue to stand by it! ~Ian

I'm 18, get a lot of little kids saying "OMG Shouldn't you be out with friends now you're a grown up?" And unto them I say: "shouldn't YOU be out with friends in the 'best years of your life'"? Why has a half year old post been bumped up for no apparent reason? ~Ian

85 mining because when I was a newb, it was my primary way of making money, and I used to really enjoy it too. I thought 85 mining would bring me huge riches, but rune ore is actually a pretty lame way to make money. ~Ian

the standards for being "legendary" nowadays?
Iantiger replied to ixfd64's topic in General Discussion
I'd agree, there are hardly any legends around these days. I remember the days when people would talk about Bluerose13x, Whitemagem, Tks, Lt_Angel, Omegawytch, Galaxyg, etc etc... I think nowadays the word Legend has disappeared and has been replaced by idols. Everyone has someone they look up to and respect. They don't necessarily have to have a high level or skill total. Take my sig for example, Runesmithie = newb ( oh that felt good!), but I look up to him because of the great contributions he has made to both Tip It in the past, and Runescape as a whole. He's a very friendly guy and inspires me. Each to their own though. ~Ian -
Ouch craven! :? Most stupid thing I've done is probably... swapped my purple p hat for a whip, when the two were passing each other in value. I knew whip could only go down and p hat would only go up, but I was so naive at the time and really wanted this new whip item everyone was going on about :) ~Ian
-
I disagree, you're making an easy game even easier. ~Ian

Hehe listen to all the hypocrites. They stand there moaning about all the newbs and about how much better the good old days were. Well it's hardly a god dam surprise when you treat new players like this now is it? Well I take my hat off to you sir, well done on finding this money making scheme by yourself! Mining iron is a decent way to make money. You may also like to try mining essence, or cutting yew logs. If you're P2P mining iron is even more profitable because there are so much better places to mine it. ~Ian

Blackbane! You're still alive, you little legend! The OoC is possibly THE greatest organisation in the history of the world, ever. I will do my part, send in a complaint. Has anyone posted on the official forums about it? Good luck getting your cabbage respawn times back. Good luck on your cabbagey goals. ~Ian

Ah dam I missed that, sounds like a pretty awesome joke. This is the first time I've heard about that  ~Ian

Here's a little bit of runescape history for you. -Pic-.
Iantiger replied to XrunesX's topic in General Discussion
Heh I never get tired of seeing that pic. What a long way RS has come. I was just looking at the screenshots of RS on wikipedia the other day in fact. I like reading the captions underneath  ~Ian -
Its a sad day indeed...Tks's stats wiped clean
Iantiger replied to Runed1's topic in General Discussion
Haven't her stats been wiped for some time now? I remember looking her up a few weeks ago and they weren't there. A shame really as she was my idol while I was growing up in Runescape. ~Ian -
I Will Help You If I Can: Combatting the Greed Factor
Iantiger replied to IanBorthwick's topic in General Discussion
I would let people learn how to acquire new items themselves as I had to do when I first joined the game. The only time I would go out of my way to help people I don't even know is on Christmas day when I gave out 50 sets of full iron to the Lumbridge crowd, which you can read about here: http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=372337 ~Ian -
Hats off to you! You argued that point very well, and it has honestly made me look at Runescape in a completely different way  ~Ian

March 2002 as sig says Now I'm 18, 19 in 9 days!!! ~Ian

what did you do when you first played runescape...
Iantiger replied to upsilon5's topic in General Discussion
Mined iron for 10gp each for a friend (baring in mind this was spring 02) Picked bananas for Luthas and made a few thousand Took around 2 weeks to find my way around the F2P map Trained on me at edgeville and goblins at goblin vilage Used to think people who could kill guards were awesome Was estatic when I bought my first rune item (legs) Was angry when I lost my first rune item (legs) to Karamja Natives who used poison - something I'd never encountered before ~Ian -
I seriously doubt they will ever happen. ~Ian
