  1. Great post, enjoyed reading it! :D Hopefully the future wont hold so many blunders! ~Ian
  2. You don't need a good computer to play Runescape. Just a computer with an internet connection. A computer with an internet connection is a far more accesible item than a PS2 with an internet connection (I hear the PS2 connection service is terrible anyway). For example: You don't go to a library to use their "Public PS2's" you go there to use their "Public PC's" ~Ian
  3. Fantastic idea. RSN: Iantiger Supported 100%! ~Ian
  4. Inevitably it wont last forever, so just forget it and enjoy it while it's still around. I would guess that in 10 years, it wont be around any longer. Can't really be any more accurate than that. ~Ian
  5. The official forums already have a marketplace for every kind of material imaginable. As do these forums, and almost any fansite forums. However it doesn't stop people screaming about on Runescape and it never will. ~Ian
  6. As a noob (in the days of RSClassic) I picked bananas for luthas, and sold my iron ores for 10gp each as I mined them to some guy called Rickysomething (a good friend but he doesn't play anymore). More recently my money comes in through mining both coal and rune. ~Ian
  7. No it wont. Not now, not ever. Simply because there's no advantage of doing so. Computers are far more powerful, far more widespread and accessible. Nuff said. ~Ian
  8. lol that's one of the funniest things I've read in a while... But back on-topic: I think Jagex would be silly to just abandon Runescape for a new game - with so many members currently playing which they've worked for so many years to attract. More likely they will allow Runescape to evolve just like Runescape Classic did as it was upgraded to Runescape 2. Runescape 3 is still a good 2 or 3 years away in my opinion, but I could definitely see it coming. ~Ian
  9. Recently? Drag Skirt from steel. First EVER dragon drop - I was unbelievably estatic. ~Ian
  10. A while ago on either these forums or some other, I saw somebody with a goal signature. They were working towards a goal like 85 mining, and there was a progress bar... coloured green for the amount of progress made so far, and red for the amount to go. I've looked around the web, but all I can find is the collection on rsbandb. Any idea where I can get the template for this sig? Thanks, ~Ian
  11. I'm on my level 17 def pure in the mining guild wearing rune armour. 20+ times a day, I get "OMG noob! How you wear fulll rune at lv17?!!!! Cheeter!!!11" ~Ian
  12. And I wish I had saved mine to my Hard-drive :( Hey I may make another journal - it was in a similar style to 56warrior's. Right now I'm mining 100k coal and 50k iron.. to get 93 mining and 85 smithing, then I'm going to make cannonballs and buy full dragon... then get 60 defence and: BAM! Full dragon at 27 combat (approx.) - should be a laugh, will start journal writing if I can. ~Ian
  13. Does anybody remember Omegawytch - the def pure of 56warrior. Anyway I was just wondering because I stumbled across the complete chronicles of Omegawytch when browsing RSinn - it's really fascinating to read the adventures of Omega as she grows from a lowly newb to a powerful character. I know her tales bought many people that were around in those days great enthusiasm and interest and I just thought it would be nice to honour 56warrior by linking these on Tip It for all to read HERE. Finding this yesterday, I remembered my own def pure and logged onto him. Still going strong, wearing rune armour (chain instead of plate though) at level 17 combat, and already in the mining guild, it's a great laugh. In fact, I think a long time ago (on the old tip it forums) I posted my own journal of my def pure (Omegawrayth). So for a short space of time in the future, I will be logged onto Omegawrayth instead of my main. Happy reading, ~Ian
  14. Wait a second guys, perhaps Arthur has a point. We don't actually need the grass, the hills, the desert sand, the fields, the icy mountains, the dank swampy sewers or the barren wasteland of the wilderness... Why don't we just get Jagex to remove the entire floor of Runescape, and everyone can walk about in giant bland, boring, meaningless black space.. [/sarcasm] Note: For those of you that couldn't decipher the above message, Iantiger does not, I repeat does NOT approve of this idea ~Ian
  15. Hmmm, I don't think this is coming out anytime soon, but a nice idea would be that the game takes place in virtual reality. Players interact with the game through a bunch of censors attached to your body, and a large pair of virtual reality goggles that actually makes you feel like you're there. Then when you train like fight, fish and mine, you have to perform the actions in real life with the appropriate body parts - such as swinging your arms over your head to mine, casting an invisible fishing line to fish, etc... This will help people to become fitter whilst having a good time playing a game and having fun with friends. Technology is at least a decade from this sort of environment being affordable to the average household, but it would sure be a great way to cure obesity and overweightness in gamers. ~Ian
  16. I posted in this thread earlier whilst fishing. Within 5 minutes of posting I'd realised that Id examined almost every examinable item there is in the fishing guild... ~Ian
  17. Hey I do that too  - no idea why it's just a habit. ~Ian
  18. I guess it would be back in Summer 2002 when I got scammed out of my Full Black thanks to The Trust Test to get into a clan... can't believe I fell for that, I was so devastated I nearly quit because of that incident. But now, I'm level 100, making a lot of money, and where's the scammer? Probably quit the game after wasting however long he spent scamming players from the game and realising scamming is a really bad way to make money. ~Ian
  19. Bubsa that is awesome. Queen song ownz. You don't have a bad voice either  ~Ian
  20. Holy... thanks a lot! Will be using this one now until I get the results of the competition through then I'll decide - but like I said the winner gets the reward w/e one I choose. ~Ian
  21. Link is: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v288/ ... gersig.png It's over 3 times bigger than the allocated size of a sig and i'm all out of ideas of how to get it down. P.S.: Don't panic anyone who's taking part in my signature competition, I'm still going to select a winner and pay you the reward as specified, this signature was a submission from another forum, but whether I use this one or the winner of the competition's one there will be a reward whatever. ~Ian
  22. I can usually get to the end of a maze with 70+% left And you should try training ANYWHERE for mazes, the spot makes no difference. Iantiger
  23. Imaketoilets is in my clan :D Iantiger
