I think this article is a little optimistic, as I still see alot of autoers especially in F2P are unchanged. As its been said said its been going on for years and only now Jagex are beginning to act. But I don't disagree entirely with the editor if Jagex can get 20,000 autoers banned a week I'm sure they'll be on top of the problem shortly. However I hope this isn't Jagex attempting to 'appease' the people of Runescape with churning out a large number in an effort to make us think things are being done. I hope to seem them telling us how many autoers they have banned every week.

I think instead of a subforum the relationship sticky should be broadend to a sticky about troubles in real life that way we kill two birds with one stone?

There is a 'debate club' you may have noticed where serious discussion often evolves and there is rarely spam or inept venting but genuine discussion. But where do you draw the line at a serious post? Just because someone can use 'firefox spellcheck' does not mean they are intelligent. I honestly don't think that there needs to be another board devoted to another strand of discussion as this worsens the community by segregating it even more.

I don't really see any difference in the number of autoers. I mean they say they have banned 19,000 is that alot? Or probably just a splinter of the amount of autoers out there. Atleast they say they have a long way to go so they seem to be taking it more seriously finally, we've had the problem of autoers for years afterall.

Actually, believe it or not, Paris's job is quite hard. And I am serious. Besides, that's how capitalism works. Rich people have rich kids, these kids are rich, and they get money like nothing, and that's just life. BTW Paris hasn't used a single cent of her fathers money for 20 years. Also, her father actually sold the Hilton hotels. She nor her family hold any authority over it anymore. It was all sold off to private investors, and her father is left to roll in the dough he's built up over the years from his fathers business. I'm not sticking up for her. But you do have to realize that some of you are being a bit ignorant and extreme. Wow, did you get that from wikipedia? :roll:

Other than the leetspeak, that's all I hear in the common room at college... :roll: I still maintain that whilst RuneScape isn't educational per say, you can learn things during your time playing. I was an awful typist when I started, i'm pretty damn fast now. But at least you learn proper pronunciation, if you want to learn the language. And I have to agree with you there on the typing part: playing MMORPGs have increased my typing speed by a lot. Typing speed has nothing to do with education.

I am always making new characters, as someone mentioned earlier, the best times in Runescape are the times when you first started. There isn't anything wrong with what you are doing, you should always play the game for fun, if you find making new characters and experiencing the game the way you want to nobody should critiscise you. Afterall the game isn't all about skills, they're completely futile, fun is not futile.

You're acting like recording something on a hypercam needs a lot of skill. Sure there are certain tips and tricks but nothing that needs more 'exposure' as you call it. Correct me if i'm wrong but it appears you have your own motives here rather than looking for the benefits this could bring to TET!

Sort of branching from what Satenza said it seems like quite alot of effort for an official branch to be made, would this mean people wouldn't be allowed to make videos of TET events? There are already lots of videos made I don't see why there needs to be an official group.

how helpful :? I suggest you just stick to runecrafting or something, don't try and do all the money making skills, if you invest all your time into one instead you'll end up making more money than balancing them equally.
