  1. Lucien must die. If only we could get a darksword and a suitable wielder.... Azzandra VS Lucien? Personally, I suspect we'll turn into some Zaros avatar...Zaros comes back with a huge veangance against someone who wants to use the stone of Jas and the staff of Armadyl to become a God, similar to what Zamorak did when defeating Zaros... Lucien vs Zamorak? o.O
  2. That would require him spending time alching, no?
  3. Wasn't the wizard from the elemental workshop quests trying to revive his aprentice who was turned to stone? Maby he tried an alternate route and tried making him a new body. Well, he was turned to stone. He could be automated now? Or there could just be some new automaton inside there. Yeah they're the same storyline. But it's better to think of WGS is the lucien substory within ROTM. as there are many mahjarrat. well we know Sliske unleashed Nex and the barrows bros. So I'd imagine he might use them to fight with him. Nex VS Lucien pl0x? Actually, tbh, Lucien must be invincible, at least if his power follows logic. Which it may not... Think about it. PRE-stealing the stone of Jas, he had the power to summon tormented demons. Those things alone are tough. He has the stone of Jas now. Remember the epic boost it gave us, just for touching it? Bunch of "exp" aka potential or something, and being completely [bleep]ing invulnerable in the 2 or 3 td fight. Now Lucien has that, on top of whatever power he has now. So not only will his combat stats be boosted by at least 200, he'll also be recovering like 500+ LP every 10 seconds. Or more. We really, really don't need a teleport there. Just stock up on a few sapphire lanterns and teleport to lumbridge. Tab or house tab/portal there if you can't easily do that on Lunar/Ancient spellbook. Oh, and I don't see DG ever disconnecting from Damonheim anytime soon. Really think/hope we get that extra bind with the new DG quest.
  4. What about slayer? Ice Strykewyrms are, imo, the only place the fire cape really stands out over other capes. I mean, it's got the best offensive and defensive stats, but those stats aren't that much imo. Ardy Cape and Nomads cape are also great for a lot of high end combat, wihout the risk of losing a fire cape.
  5. No. There's always managing your kingdom. Herb runs aren't bad. And if you know how, merch.
  6. I'd go for the bow first. Really, you shouldn't be worried about dying there. Bring a ring of life if your worried, but it should be really easy to get back to TDs after you die. 15 minute grave ftw. Be prepared to be flamed for C Long instead of rapier >.<
  7. No one knows. They just came out today. Wait a week.
  8. Tbh, this makes chinning nechs look even better... range exp from chinning, which, knowing chins, will be decent range exp, not to mention a pretty good way from crims and now semi-decent prayer exp is added to it. By itself, the prayer exp chinning them isn't much, but... Really gotta chin them sometime.
  9. Actually, the teleport thing is a right-click thing according to what I read, so you shouldn't need to do that. Personally, with the ashes I think it'd be better to use the urns to just collect them, at least for the infernal ashes. Assuming we can take the ashes OUT....
  10. With battle robes and SoL, you save HALF of the runes you use. Totally worth it.
  11. Or you could always try rock lobs if you have enough money to burn >.< Which I somehow doubt >_> I know I used a salamander at giant rock crabs when I was a lower level, back when they dropped 10 charms at a time. Almost nothing but golds, but damn you got a lot of charms. These days however, they drop them 3 at a time so I'm not sure if they're worth it anymore.
  12. yeah, actually there's one on my street lol. however i'm sure they dont live that life due to the fact that they gained an abby whip by unethical means when they were 13 and a half... yepo, just cus it's 'what people like to do' doesn't stop it being a bit pathetic true again, i guess i wasn't really referring to 'phase' as an age thing - but rather making the point that people who make comments like the one i quoted are a wee bit pathetic and need to grow up i mean, there's banter [which i like] and then there's the sort of person who makes daft banter because he's too stupid to keep his mouth shut but i'm sure you're not like that :) I really cannot tell if that's an insult or not. Leaning towards insult, but you could be sincere...
  13. I do believe it's dharoking the zombie monkeys under ape atoll with a salve amulet (e), using a rapier to finish them off at low hp. No clue on rates though. Killing armoured zombies is also up there.
  14. I miss the evil chicken. I hated that thing. Dharoks bane. Or not needing to log out to go to the bathroom. Although, much less risky now between the lobby and gravestones. ....Why don't bots wear rings of life, or just be programmed to recognize if they're under attack and tele if they are? Personally, I'd be in favour of stuff like the drunk dwarf, that hurts you if you don't give it any attention, except that I can't see it actually being effective.
  15. Um. No, that's some other dude actually. Read this thread people >.< And, lesse, your brothers an idiot, that'd be way too overpowered considering like half the monsters in RS are potential slayer tasks. It'd be one thing if he thought it worked on just all the slayer monsters.... And for the seers diary er, tasks, you have to do the easy and med ones before you can get the reward from the hard ones. It works like this for all tasks - you have to beat all of the easier sets before you can get the reward from the set in question.
  16. False. Jagex stated that your defense level does contribute to your magic defense. I forget where they said that, I'm sure it was one of their Q&A sessions. I believe it was something like 60% of your magic level, and 40% of your defense level. Around those numbers. True it may not contribute much, but it still plays a part none the less. Last time I checked, the common consensus was 70/30 for mage/def. Assuming the OP is staking on the account shown in his sigs, his magic defence level averages out to 94.8. 99 def/mage would, of course, average out to 99 magic defence, so his lower def would give some people the advantage. But, of course, most of it still boils down to luck.
  17. And a scroll of life if you farm herbs a lot. Herb farming is one of the better money-makers of the game.
  18. Well, I'm not graphics expert or anything, but most artists I do believe like to have a general idea of what to go with, something more then just colours.
  19. Nex

Sir_Squab replied to Squisher_33's topic in Data and Research
Nex doesn't need to be dumbed down. Sure the boss can't be soloed, but that doesn't make it hard. She's reasonably relaxing to get a single kill 4 man. The only challenge comes when you try to 3 man, 2 man, or of course the impossible solo. Or challenge can come from trying to get more than 1 kill per trip. but either way, she's hardly difficult. Her blood form weeds out 1-2 man teams, by healing faster than many can output damage. and the smoke form drains supplies, weeding out those who are too unlucky to get high claw specs. So much of nex's difficulty is how much you spec her for at the start of the smoke form. That the entire bossfight is kind of a gamble, rather than something that actually takes skill. it's finding teams and the rate at which Nex bleeds you for money if you don't get drops that are the problems Yeah, I think the Nex fight is 100% fine. But do something for the droprate, or consistency or something, and something to get rid of the KC. A one time thing then no more KC - part of the one time thing COULD include 40 kills there though ;) Personally, my favorite idea was the armour shard idea. Not 100% sure on how to implement it, but the shards would be really common, at most say a 1/10 drop. However, the rate at which you get shards and how many you need for a full set could be balanced with the current drop rate, so the theoretical amount of kills you need for a piece remains the same. Oh, to above poster, if Torva and the such was more common, it wouldn't actually, you know, BE 3b. And the idea behind HP boosting armour was that, if it was cheap enough, it'd really help solve the DPS issue in PVP. With a bit of bad luck, you can die wayyyyyy to fast and easily there. @wkw427: that was a stupid post.
  20. Like everyone else has said, wait for the ash update.
  21. And I had to google it >_>
  22. I agree 100%. New goal....get a master ball, then head into the fight caves...
  23. You don't get Prayer or Summoning doors above level 99 due to it not being possible to pot above 99 at all for those skills. There is no need to enter a room to get the xp (unless there's a door in there), just opening it enough so it is visible on the map is enough to gain the xp. Of course if you're not so bothered about being super speedy and you want resources/to kill things then you may as well go in and check them out :P I know you CAN'T open doors with a summon/prayer req over 99. I've sitll heard of the occuring. I think we'll have to agree to disagree, unless I by some chance run into a prayer/summon door I can't open...but I hardly DG so that's unlikely. And I can't think of any way for you to prove your claim.
  24. For skill doors, one of 3 things can happen. 1. You can get a door you or someone in your party doesn't need to boost to open. 2. You can get a skill door tailored to you or someone in your party needing a potion to open. This one can actually be divided into three more possibilities, of needing a weak, normal or strong potion. 3. You can get a skill door that just has a really high level requirement. All of these are at least 90+ (in fact, they might all be in the 100+ range, I don't know exactly) but they aren't based on someone's level, they just randomly want a high requirement. (And last time I checked, they can sometimes be unopenable due to 100+ prayer or summon reqs.) Of those 3, only #1 is able to occur for doors you need to open to procede through the dungeon. As for entering/not entering, I've always been aware of the rumour that you have to ENTER the room for the exp to count, so I always enter it just to be safe. And to look at the back of the room.
  25. I honestly wanted to give you full rune when I read that too. But then Obtaurian gave you 1m. Enjoy it =D
