  1. Good, that'll make fighting Troll Generals a somewhat less painfull exercise.
  2. I posted 7 minutes before you did?
  3. You won't need to bring any items, although some food won't hurt. While the emphasis isn't on fighting, you'll run into some rival pirates which are around level 60 and not at all dangerous to be honest. Stephen, it's pretty straight-forward so I doubt you'll be needing a guide :P
  4. Arr! The book is like a pocket dictionary for tourists :P Edit: or rather, more like a book on how to act like a pirate.
  5. Imho it looks like a Djinn on crack  As for the updates, it sounds promising, hope it works out for the best.
  6. For comparison's sake, check http://dam7687.turboblog.fr/photos/unca ... _xsara.jpg :P Good find, although I doubt it's intentional.
  7. The highscores themselves work perfectly fine for me, but seeing as everyone and their mother is checking out the changes I'm not surprised they're not working perfectly well at the moment. As for 3rd party stuff such as stat sigs not working, that's not something Jagex has to worry about :P
  8. This isn't exactly new, I've had it happen to me for a long period now, although I admit that sometimes it occurs more often than at other times. Try switching to walk instead of run, it should save you from some harm, at least.
  9. The prayer drain is normal, yes. As for Guthan, yep, the special effect is displayed whenever it triggers, even if it does zero damage.
  10. I have Midi muted because of it. Apart from a select few tunes which are particulary catchy or simply, not annoying, it find the music horrible.
  11. "Full" 3D is a weird way of saying things. I don't think a 3 dimensional inventory would be very convenient :P
  12. Well, all hide armour used to be called Dragonhide Body or Legs, and Dragon Vambraces, regardless of colour, now that they've added the colours, they had to shorten the names a little to make it all fit. Hence the awesome sounding Black D'Hide Vamb <_
  13. 1. What was your reward? My reward was 5000xp 2. What levels were your quest related skills, total (approx) and qp after quest ? Mining 74 Crafting 65 Magic 90 Firemaking 90 Prayer 68 Total 1603 Qp 194 3. Did you opened (during quest) all 8 door on temple boottom level? YES 4. Did you opened (during quest) all 4 exits? YES 5. Did you buried (during quest) all 5 bigbones from the first boneguard? YES 6. What head you chose to make? Lazims.
  14. I did, he's just fooling around :P As for the light source, you'll need a candle to put in the brazier, put I guess any light source will do to light up the area.
  15. I wonder if anyone's gotten to fight the champion of champions yet..
  16. The only reporting I frown upon is reporting just for the sake of getting another player in trouble. Which is, sadly, 95% of the offensive language reports.
  17. For the (relatively) harmless bugs I'd report them, and have some fun while I can. For serious disrupting bugs, report and stay away from them :P
  18. Why yes, having an action you can't even perform ("that's not your kitten...") as the left-click action makes much more sense than, say, having the action you most likely want to perform as the left-click action. It's kind annoying that kittens get in the way all the bloody time, but doubt the owner walks around with a keety just to annoy others :P Also, I wonder how every single bank in RS has a copy of my kitten, and thousands of others. Must be litterbox-heaven.
  19. Overpowered, in my opinion. It's unfair that, but bluntly, if you're lucky, and JUST lucky, you can kill somebody, no questions asked. However, the odds this happens when fighting people with over 10 defense is so small it's not much of an issue, plus a little danger doesn't matter that much. So generally speaking, a bad weapon (but not quite the worst, Spear and Mace take the cake), but with decent utility (poison) and an awesome special attack.
  20. Alternatively, the game could be altered in a way that you can no longer interact with someone else's kitten, except for maybe an examine when right-clicked.
  21. Not many people do play there, but new games would draw in the attention of some people. Who knows, maybe Jagex are intending to add a betting system there as a surprise? It's been suggested many times before on the official forums. - Add it to the dueling ring. Saves a spot on pointless jewelry. - Allow people to bet, yes indeed. It'd make it like a duel of intellects which justifies putting it on the ring :P - Add chess.
  22. I agree. It seems as if the support team has no clue on what advertising means. By the above example, asking if "anyone watched soccer the other day" would be advertising soccer? <_< At any rate, if people ask, I tell that mentioning Tip.It doesn't break any rules, but they shouldn't do it anyway because they might get banned regardless. So for the time being (which might well be the next ten years), just refer people to fansites in general if needed.
  23. Dude, they don't care for satisfaction, they're in it for the money. As for the gnomeballs, it's a way of tagging them, since most bots won't ever de-equip a ball. Any suspicious person with ugly clothes and a strange highscores list wearing a gnome ball would best be reported for macroing; if they aren't there's no harm done anyway.
