Personally, I haven't listened to many and the ones that I've heard are quite bad...

Its lame, alot of people listen too their own music including me :)

my computer doesn't really lag on high, but when I message a friend, it text lags when I type.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I only use high detail so that I can surf the internet while playing (I have the music on 0 and the sound on max). That way I can hear when I kill an NPC and then change back to RS.

I leave music on auto, as I find it aids navigation, like breathing a sigh of relief as you get the tune for low level wilderness after some dangerous resource gathering.

I'm one of the few that like the original Runescape entrance tune (Scape Original) compared to the current one (Scape Main).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

It also sounds interesting as a ringtone. (I went to the UK version of the shop).

It got to syntetich for me so i listen to my own music

I always turn the music off but leave the sound effects on. I tend to watch TV as I play Runescape.

RS music isnt that bad but I prefer listening to my own musics. Midis cant beat the real thing :lol: lol

i can hardly ever hear the music on runescape. but the ones that i remember blew, so im happy about that. id rather listen to johnny cash. hoorah.

I have Midi muted because of it. Apart from a select few tunes which are particulary catchy or simply, not annoying, it find the music horrible.

For some reason my MIDI devices are farked up, so I turned them off. After I reformat, I might just listen to them again. Songs like "Waterfall" and "Fanfare" are really nice.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

As for the moment, I just listen to my own music. If I have a good Irish drinking song on, you will see my character stop whatever he is doing and dance.

Horrible squarking of an indeterminable MIDI instrument, vs the complete awesomeness of Pink Floyd's Crazy Diamond, Learning to Fly or Echoes. Now, thats a tough one :wink:

Runescape should really start working on the music. A game with good music can get even more popular, some people like a certain RPG game just because the music is good. Like Golden Sun for example 8)

i prefer to just go on low detail. Ive tried the music (kinda reminds me of the old pokemon games) and i dont like it. I just put my own on and with low detail it makes my game faster than it high detail counterpart
