Reporting them simply turns the macro-detection tool's attention toward them. As for the first question, no, don't. The second, yes, sure, but I'd only do that if they're actually getting worse, eg just verbal abuse at first, then turning into password scamming. It's rather pointless to report somebody for password scamming every 60 seconds though.

Keep in mind, only gibberish. If they're aggresively advertising rune scimitars or telling that Ghjjf is team@@@ there's no need to report it. On the subject of macroing, it never hurts to report someone you suspect for it. If they're clean, nothing bad will happen. But if those goldfarmers are actually human-controlled players, it's rather pointless. Also, "Follow me to double your cash and items" is pretty solid evidence against a scammer :P but if you feel it's still pretty vague, or as you said, sketchy, don't report. Hang around to gather better evidence, or simply leave them be if you don't feel like spending time on it, because nobody's making you.

You don't seem to take into account that you'll need to buy houses, rooms, etc, too, so it's probably quite a bit more.

Some servers are better than others. The Amsterdam server is like 50 miles from my house, yet I usually play on the Atlanta worlds because those are far less laggier to me. I knew RS was pretty big, although last time I looked it hadn't overtaken FFXI yet. And WoW is growing stupidly fast :shock:

Actually, no. A charged amulet of glory does increase your chance of getting gems, it says so when you charge it. I'm not sure if it affects the gem rocks, though, that'd seem a bit silly. I guess it was just the randomness factor being out of whack.

Someone with 99 HP drinking a Sara Brew and then being flattened by falling rocks, I guess.

Punk4ever has a good point. You'll probably be getting random bird's nests, and the odds of getting a magic tree seed aren't all that good. Anyway, I'm spending some money on flax, wonder if that'll be worth it.

If you'd read the replies you might've known :roll: As far as I know, some monsters have a set of items which count as "rare" drops. The RoW increases chances of "valuable" rare drops, where valuable means "worth a lot of gp when sold to a shop". There are ofcourse exceptions: it will not affect drop rates of gems and halves. Also, it's effect is rather small, and the randomness of the drop system is, well, random, so only extremely large scale tests would provide accurate info.

As far as I know there's always been a zombie wandering around there, never seen the skeleton though.
