  1. Not sure if it'll turn out to be a top ten, but here it goes: 1. Getting a full set of Infinity Robes, the Mage's Book, etc, from the Mage Training arena. Without going insane from having to do ten variants of the telekinese maze over and over again. 2. Flat 99's. 3. A complete set of Gold Castle Wars armour. 4. Maxing out combat on F2P. 5. Obtaining the Fire Cape, at a level lower than usual. 6. Obtaining the purtiest Chompy Hat. That's a lot of pointless hunting, I tell you :P 7. Getting a Pirate's Hook. I'm not a big fan of the Agility Arena, and it takes a lot of running around in there to get it. Can't think of anything else :-#
  2. I guess I was a little better off. :-w I suppose switching worlds would've worked, too :P
  3. Searching for "World 126" yields no results, which is weird considering this topic's name. Maybe you should try it yourself before crying OMG SERACH!11 Personally, I think blood-thirsty gnomes is taking things too far. Us gnomes aren't really that blood-thirsty, unless provoked. Plus, we're pretty small, so we wouldn't go and eat an entire world =;
  4. I'm going to assume that with outside of wildy you mean all deaths that occured in a PvP situation. Apart from that: - To a rat in early RSC. First time playing, "cornered" by evil rats :< lost first time playing junk, so buckets, bones, etc :P - That one time I thought I could take on that dwarf. - To an Ice Giant while doing Knight's Sword. I was around level 25, and for some reason unable to run away. Lost steel or whatever :P - My first encounter with poison. Lost a Rune Large. - My first encounter with the boobytrapped altar near Yanille. Minus another Large. It's VERY annoying when you can't rush through mobs and are locked in combat for three rounds. - Underground Pass. Was a bit too reckless there :P but as fate would have it, I died during a sequence of traps where you take 2 damage a bunch of times. It went like 2, 2, 2, dead, flash of lumby, mysterious teleport back to pass, 2, 2. Stood next to my own pile of items with 4 damage taken. Didn't lose anything that one time :P Those are all I recall from RS classic. In RS2, I only recall dying once, apart from three failed Fight Cave attempts. Ring of Life saved me once from King Dagannoths. They wreaked a lot of havoc on their release day :P My only death was against Abberant Spectres, when I spend a little too much time wondering why I was being hit all the time, then found the chain-exit not working, overlooked the door and died trying to teleport out. Lost an obby set, dragon amulet and some hides. I saw a level 70 walk out with it later on, glad it made somebody's day :P
  5. Yeah, shame that doesn't work, I used that trick to get 25 rings of charos :P I'd love to have more ectophials, but I guess it's too late now :<
  6. Not a bug. Turael probably gives Lizard assignments too, which is why you couldn't switch it.
  7. I actually saw a movie of this when somebody took them outside of CW. The guy locked down Varrock East Bank by dumping a barricade in the entrance and wind striking it while wearing as much mage-attack reducing items as possible. As for me, I'd probably go and do something harmless O:)
  8. It would seem that recently, the monsters from the Stronghold of Security (Ankou, Catablepon, etc) and the Goraks from Fairy Tale Part 2 (indirectly) were added to the list. You can view the list of monsters assigned by slayer masters in the Knowledge Base :P
  9. I'm not much of a merchant. Best thing I've pulled of is 11.4M > a set of Guthan's > 11.5M & Fire Cape :P
  10. Not scamming. The low levels don't know the prices, but they could look them up. There's no excuse for ignorance, they say :P Still, it's not a nice thing to do :shame: on the other hand, it's not like it happens in real life, with companies hiring people from other countries because they can pay those people less and get away with it.
  11. The nicest people I know on RS haven't given me anything ;) apart from one fellow who quit. Even so, a few years back I participated in a Firemaking contest, which had as a special price a purple partyhat (which was actually pink at the time), for the person who managed to get 5M Firemaking xp in two weeks. Look me up on the highscores and guess who won ;) the person who hosted the contest backed up his words, which is how I got my only paper hat which is worth a rather ridicilous amount of money by now.
  12. If the game's too fast for you to gain the required 50 damage, it's not the cooperation that is to blame. The goal is to finish as fast as possible, which I'd say is accomplished. The fact that you, as a team member, are unable to get in 50 damage on a regular basis simply means your stats aren't up to the task. The games I've played with Heart Unit are over very quick, yet out of 300 games, I've only failed to get the 50 damage three times, one of which I wouldn't count because I missed half the game when I looked away for a bit :P Also, that's a Starcraft quote. Do I get bonus points now? O:)
  13. This guy count? He's the best guide writer of all time, after all. :anxious: As for actual famous players, I've met Bwareofmef at the start of RS2 at the fishing guild. She was the first player mod I ever met :P and as fate would have it, I ran into her last week, too, at Edgeville. I also had my training spot on RSC invaded by Choppermad once. He's still on the frontpages of skill total now. I've been in a few Castle Wars games with TheHate and our Lightning. Other than that, I don't recall ever meeting anyone.
  14. It's a place you can travel to using Fairy Rings.
  15. How the hell is this classed as an intermediate quest, when it has 57 herblore and 49 boredom required? I mean, that's pretty high by Jagex' standards. Not to mention the mystery level 145 monster. I mean, if that level 110 plant thing from part 1 makes that quest classed as "experienced", then how is this one classed lower? :?
  16. He's going to x out :shame: :P It's a pretty screeny, apart from the bad jpeg quality.
  17. This thread was posted one minute before the other kthnxbai. Requirements are pretty high, second time ever I don't meet the requirements of a new quest  (even if it's just by one herblore level which I probably have banked anyway)
  18. LOLDEAD So, yes. Screenshot was borrowed :-w Being hit cancels you solving a random, which makes it near impossible to do so during a battle in the wilderness. So basically, you're being given an early death sentence at random. Same goes for randoms at other dangerous places. It's just cases of bad game design not seen since the days of 8-bit consoles :shame:
  19. Screenshot, please? :o
  20. DBaxe spec, make sure offensive prayers and redemption are on, rush to the Yellow gate, destroy it, get 50 damage if I haven't already, then run to other portals and help end the game fast.
  21. With no food and no Guthan's? :?
  22. It's happened to more players, it's a highscore bug. For instance, Fulg0r3 doesn't appear on Hitpoints highscores, but I've scored a kill on him in the past while pk'ing, and I'm pretty sure he had more than 30 hp that one time :P
  23. Some guy "Durial[numbers]" was able to attack people outside the Wilderness, and was filmed doing so in Falador. Hence, Falador massacre.
  24. Hmm, I see. Putting things completely out of context is one of the downsides of the current report system :( Well, try explaining to CS, nothing more you can do.
