I did it with a MSB. And I had a bunch of potions leftover, too. Even so, at level 73, it might just be too slow. I've gotten up to the second to last wave without Guthan's, but it's just not worth trying. Just buy a set, use it until you complete caves, and then sell it again. That worked for me ^^

It takes too much resources to keep fighting them, and the reward isn't that good. Plus, it's quite a bit away from the nearest bank.

First Scapeboard I event I attended to, and also my oldest stat picture (14 feb 2003): Lost P2P with a party hat in my inventory but felt like pk'ing. That's actually good thinking, but I doubt a 15% bonus to attack and strength would be as good as a garuanteed good hit one out of five times. Still, if you don't have Verac's it's probably a good thing to bring along :

Heh, I never got to be bothered by Jmods when I got modded. Then again, there weren't quite as much of 'm back then :P I do have some pictures from ages past, to be honest I never bothered taking any in RS2 apart from one rather funny convo. Mod Ian being bugged by the horde after the release of the Watchtower quest. Paul standing around in Seer's for no apparent reason other than finding out how long it took people to notice him as a lowly level 80. At first I thought it was pretty cool to get to see a legend (Bluerose) in game. But then some guy started talking smack, and a Jmod leaped out of the shadows and shut him up good :

Fire Giants, Lesser Demons, Greater Demons, Black Demons, Blue Dragons, Black Dragons, Dust Devils, Kalphite Guardians, Hellhounds, particulary large Trolls, ... Best purchase ever :P It's perfect in the sense that you don't have to pay attention after you've started fighting a monster and are in your safespot. Easy to train your combat and read these forums at the same time :

Dynasty's pretty catchy in my opinion. Can't say I've bother listening to most of the music though, although I'll give other favourites a go when I get on :P

Money, Runes (from high to low, soul to body), food, armor sets (rune, dragon, blackhide, greenhide, mystic, mage robes), herblaw stuff (pots, unfinished pots, seconds), a whole assortment of tools, some stuff I happen to be collecting at the time (eg gold ore, rune essence) and finally a whole lot of items I only have one of and use frequently.

Heh. I believe I have some spare Firemaking levels :P

I've gotten a couple of my friends into this game, although they play it rarely nowadays. My mother however plays more than I do these days <_<

I suggest using the Lumby furnace, didn't burn a whole lot of 'm with cooking in the high 80's. Myself, I kind of use them as throwaway food when on quests and doing other things when I know I'll need food, but don't need to waste valuable food such as sharks on it.

Or maybe it takes 10% of your life, say, 9hp, and deals 20% damage as in 2 times 9. I doubt it'd drain 20% of any monster's hp, that seems a tad too strong.

I drew a tank because I was happy. 2 months later... No wai!! 1 million Strength xp worth of goodies. Without a doubt my best treasure trail. Okay, so maybe I lied :P As for stuff from players, had a couple of good ones. Dragonstone jewellery + some rune a couple of times at Fire Giants, once along with a bunch of arrows and some mage boots. At Troll Generals, dragonstone stuff plus a whole bunch of loot from someone who wasn't too careful. At Tzhaar, jewellery and Dharok's Helmet from someone who ran out of prayer. After the release of the Lumby Caves, a Rune Large (g) and Guthix Kite from someone who brougth a ghetto candle O:) I'd post pics but I've named and shamed them, so I won't :P Barrows, nothing too special. Most valuable would be Dharok's Legs.

Two wrongs don't make a right :\ I'd find out what went wrong and try and make sure I'd never get hacked again that way.

Well thought out and all. Certainly works if all lower levels on the average public PC world would work like that, and it'd really be interesting if you HAVE to play like that. But as it is, murdering all portals as fast as possible and not paying ANY attention to the mobs works too, seeing as killing a portal heals Voidy, and with portals down not much mobs are shooting at him.

Reducing the xp even more would simply wreck the game, seeing as it isn't really that much fun at the moment, the item rewards aren't worth it (except for maybe the mace), and with the good xp gone the game simply wouldn't be worth playing anymore. I hope that instead of nerfing the xp, they won't be lazy and actually alter the game to make it fun and challenging. As a result of that, the xp would come in slower and people would still complain, but it wouldn't completely wreck the game.
