15 March 2006 - Hundredth Quest - Recipe for Disaster!
All_Bogs replied to Pirkka's topic in General Discussion
It's in the kitchen basement in Lumby castle as Albosky said. The chest is near the table with the cabbage on it. -

By the way, this is how the chest looks after having done four of the subquests: You don't seem to get any new foodstuffs, but the stock count increases by one every time. It sells butter, too :) As for the various kitchen tools, they're weapons. I guess the final ones will be wortwhile. -

Not tradeable. Power to the questers. Also, the various cooking tools you can buy are actually weapons. I can buy upto the frieing pan, and wield up to the Spatula. The Spatula (of DOOOM) has stats equal to, say, something of Adamant. -

HOLY [cabbage]. Seriously, those gloves are crazy. The best I can buy are Black Gloves, and they add +5 Attack and +5 Strength!! And there's probably up to Rune :D Hi2u new max hit. -

Lauts, you'll need to make Dave a stew with the right combination of spices. WHAT IS the combination???!?! :P i've made 10+ stews already....:( It's random :( I had to add 1 Brown, 1 Orange, 2 Yellow and 3 Red, but a friend only had to add one of each. Lauts, maybe you need to ask the mother first where here spices are. As for the chest, it is indeed the chest the quest rewards refer to. I just completed another part, and Black Gloves and a Frying Pan became available for purchase. I wonder what the cooking tools are for. -

I think that's the Culinaromajaromancer's chest. I get to buy items from it, too. Armoured Gloves, weird Spatula of Doom, and Butter, too :) Easier Tuna Taters, yay. Pirrka, Daves mother will also offer to give you cat milk if it's running around being hellish. Lauts, you'll need to make Dave a stew with the right combination of spices. -

To answer some questions on the maggots; They're Fishing Bait, as the goblin cook says. To make them less bland, add spice. You can get spice in Ardougne. Also, if you wear your unlocked Ring of Charos, Emily gives you the Asgarnian Ale (g) recipe for free. -

It's different for everyone I think. Omega Pure had to add one of each spice, while I needed 1 Orange and Brown, 2 Yellow and 3 Red. -

If the lemons are still an issue, Mod Mark also added this: "2. Talk directly to any of the blurberry barmen in Blurberrys bar (but not blurberry himself) in the Gnome Tree. They will have specific chat options to allow you to buy fruit WITHOUT going to the shop screen. Using this method does not require there to be stock in the shop." -

Also, if you cannot use Blurberry, I heard you can trade Trading Sticks for Lemons in Tai Bwo Village. Also, you can ONLY ask how to make a Dirty Blast if you haven't got any ingredients with you. What kind of logic is that?? -

Weird. Cook never told me anything about a Dirty Blast (how do you get him to?), yet when I tried using ashes on a not-so-fresh Fruit Blast the game told me the COOK said that I shouldn't do that <_< You can buy a lemon in the Gnome Tree fruit shop. If you're lucky  -
It is? Cool, that might actually mean they'll get around to updating it sometime

As long as the KB doesn't turn into a complete Walkthrough/Strategy Guide, fansites have nothing to fear. In my opinion it's nice to have a quick and easy database to look up stats and the like, though.

Tip.It Times Presents: Biased Banning Raises Brows
All_Bogs replied to oddfaery2's topic in General Discussion
Good points or not, things he said contrict the truth. I mean, Limparse wasn't found early, nor was his name very offensive. So sure, a mistake has been made. Good thing there's ban appeal... Except that his appeal was rejected. And I have serious doubts that anything would've been done about it if he hadn't taken it to these boards. As for things like this being Jagex' policy, of course not. But it DOES happen, and it shouldn't. Seriously, WoW players I know laugh their [wagon] off when I tell them what kind of things veteran RuneScapers get banned for. Take a hint  -
agreed i say we ambush them wiv appeals to get his daughters acc back soo much we drive them to insanity and they quit and less corrupted staff come . All in favour quote this and say " Aye " It'd happily say Aye if it'd accomplish anything, but it won't. Even if CS was willing they wouldn't be allowed to act upon our 3rd party appeals as per rules, so let's safe ourselves the trouble :P

Things without a soul are dead, soulless humanlike beings would be classified as undead, then. Shades examines as "The angry dead" or something among those lines which makes them pretty undead as well :P As for Barrows, an excuse, yes, but seeing as everyone and their mother uses Slayer Dart anyway, it doesn't really seem to have anything to do with difficulty, since Crumble doesn't hit as hard as Dart does.

It just got fixed. You got stuck if you tried to chop down the canoe station from the other side of the river.

About time. I wonder if the people with the no-longer-confusing usernames will get them back.

Tell YOUR history in RuneScape in 5 short numbers!

- Somewhere in August '01: Bogsie started playing, albeit under another name. I recall getting killed by Giant Rats somewhere the first day. - Sometime late in '01: onoes I got h4xed. Or rather, password guessed. I started over on another character (All Bogs, durr) which was soon better than my first had ever been. Also, I recall the tipit forums having an annoying as hell banner at the time, that'd stay on screen all the time :P - Sometime late in '02: return from the big break. I quit playing for about half a year, and came back to find R2H's affordable. This was the time I started playing the game seriously. - Release of RS2: Bogsie turned pk'er :P - Now: I last played yesterday, still enjoying stuff although I don't level as much as I used to. -
Oh, Slayer Dart is affected by magic bonus. It's just that the barrows crew have virtually no magic defense. Personally, I find Ice Blitzing far more enjoyable, even though Slayer Dart + Pots is well cheaper. Also, if you don't feel the need to bring a Ring of Life, try taking a Ring of Dueling along. Free healing and prayer at the arena, then teleport back to Canifis or Ectoplace after you're done there. Somewhat more convinient than Ice Mountain if you ask me.

Seeing as his daughter can barely read or write, I doubt SHE created the account. Also, like training ability matters. If she has a good time wandering around looking at pretty colors and not doing much at all, who gives a damn about training ability?

Ghouls are very much alive (to my knowledge they just eat the dead), and Afflicted are, well, afflicted, but not dead. As for vampires, to my knowledge they live in a state of un-life, so I'd consider them pretty undead. Plus, if it's the case in D&D it should always be :P Then again, fantasy rules aren't set in stone so jagex could just do whatever the hell they want as long as they're consistent. Even though having Undead Ones not being undead takes things a little far

Its a sad day indeed...Tks's stats wiped clean
All_Bogs replied to Runed1's topic in General Discussion
650 days? That was a little before the release of RS2, I think TKS had quit RS for quite some time at that moment. Let's never forget 1535.
