Migration Issues
can't blame the illegals themselves, it's the people who actually hire them who are to blame for everything. Tougher punishments for businesses and people who hire illegals is probably the only thing that would control it. A fine and a slap on the wrist just isn't going to set any examples. I don't see any reason to try to focus on physically trying to stop people from entering. The bigger the fence you build, the higher they will just jump lol. I can't stand how most of the anti-immigration protesters end up focusing their hate on the people who are coming here themselves, more than the people they give them jobs in the first place. Anyone of us here would do whatever we had to, to provide for our families. Even if it meant sneaking into another country to work.

The Walking Dead
I just hate having to wait a week to watch another episode. Usually I just wait a while and watch them online 2-3 episodes at a time, but this one I do watch every week.

The Metal Thread
never cared much for the band itself, but this song has been stuck in my playlist for a while......... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yg-Kva94R7Q more into 80's metal and early black metal myself. Then this newer Swedish band has been doing a good job getting that oldschool sound down... <3

Body Modification?
My tribe has always traditionally had piercings and tattoos. Not too many people these days still follow the traditions though. I plan on getting some more. My arms are already almost sleeved in my own artwork, done in my people's traditional style. I dunno so much about facial tattoos though. I can still throw on a long sleeve shirt so old ladies at the store don't frown on me lol. The one thing I hate though, is people getting 'tribal' tattoos, when they don't belong to that specific group of people. It's rather insulting to see that everywhere. In most tattoo societies, you had to earn the right to get tattooed, or earn specific designs and patterns. Now you got people who just go to a shop and pick something out of a book and get it done. The generic 'tribal' designs are fine, the typical barbed wire stuff you see everywhere, but when you start getting into actual tribal specific work, you really need to go down to those places they originate and get them the right way. I don't care how much you like and admire those cultures or artworks, to simply get something done because you like it may be innocent enough, but it's cultural theft to me.

Vinyl
I got a nice little 80's metal record collection. Mixture of old thrash, punk, and black metal albums. Got a USB record player to transfer some of them that I can't find online. I love going to garage sales and finding albums. Never know what you can pick up at those things. couple I just happen to have sittin my the comp... Then my mom's husband passed away, and I got like 300+ albums, all from the 50's 60's and 70's. Not really what I am into, but I can put up a list if anyone is interested or looking for specific albums. I don't ever plan on using them for nothing. Grateful Dead anyone? lol Like 15 of their records.

"Everbody Draw Muhammad" Day
There's simply a lack of respect in the world these days. People should have respect for other people's cultures and ways no matter how much it conflicts with your own beliefs or practices. What reason would anyone have to draw such an image other than being immature, or trying to start conflict? I'd like to see these people go over to the middle east and try to do that stuff. Reminds me of all those Nazi skinheads who like to march around, (under police protection of course).

Schools confiscating students' property
Cell phones weren't popular yet when I was going to highschool. I can only imagine how much it irritates teachers these days. They should be able to confiscate phones too if people get caught using them in class.

Where you live ...
I'm Native American, and live out in the woods on our reservation, so yea I like it. We are a sovereign nation from the United States, so it's like our own little country, with our own government and everything. Plus I can hunt, fish...and pretty much just enjoy the outdoors a lot. I went to college down in the big cities, and just didn't like the busy city life. Too much stuff always going on, and it was never actually quiet anywhere.

SB1070 Immigration Bill passes in Arizona
People need to stop blaming the illegal immigrants themselves, and put more focus on the people who hire them. After all they wouldn't be coming here if there wasn't any jobs to be had. You cannot understand where some of these people are coming from. I think every one of us here, would do the same if it meant possibly making a better life for our families. Anyone who wouldn't try taking risks to provide for their family isn't right in the head. Even if you have to break some laws. Harsher punishments are needed for the people who get caught hiring them. That is the root of the whole problem. I'm Native American, with a Spanish last name. I'll be damned if I'm going to have people come up to me and ask me to prove my citizenship.

Stephen Hawking warns against aliens
I want a source on this. In my history college course, he ended up bringing a bunch of the natives back to England and called them Indians because he thought he landed in India. I don't think anything of that sort was mentioned during the lectures. His atrocities to the Native people were well documented in the journals of Columbus and of the various people he sailed with. He was also stripped of his governor title, arrested and sent back to Spain to stand trial to go to prison, but once there, the King freed him. His own men testified against him. He was known to chop off the hands of people, children included. He enslaved the tribes on those Islands he settled. Those people he took back to Europe, were enslaved and made to go. Most of them died on the voyage back to Europe. - wikipedia These are things people choose not to tell in history. People want to try and forget, or not criminalize a national hero. There is a movement amongst Native Americans and non-native supporters to actually abolish the Columbus day holiday and to bring light the atrocities he committed. http://www.transformcolumbusday.org/ If you want more details, you shouldn't have a hard time looking it up. Just don't rely on good ole American history books to dig up some dirt on a 'hero'.

Prenuptial Agreements
I don't see a problem with prenups, upon separating each person parts with what they entered the relationship with, but when you marry someone, and they end up becoming dependent on you, and you decide to split up, depending on how long you have been together, it would only make sense to somehow leave them with enough to at least start over with a new life. I think the problem is there are women (and men) out there who do plan on marrying someone simply for their money. Sure it's probably not that many, but the examples of things like that happening have already been put out there, so people who actually do have stuff to loose, kinda take notice of that. If you have any suspicions of trust prior to a marriage, your probably not in that strong of a relationship to begin with, but before any marriage I think a couple needs to take the time to talk about all the "what ifs" first. Once you split up, providing you don't have any children, the only money a person should get is a split in the assets they made while together, and possibly small monthly support payments until they can get back on their feet again. I don't like seeing people live the rest of their lives on lavish support payments. Too many men and women have been [bleep]ed over by divorce court, and a lot of good people end up having to support their ex's, even if the breakup wasn't the providers fault. People can say bringing up the idea of a prenup is insulting, but if your relationship is really strong from the start, talking about such things shouldn't be much trouble. You always have to plan ahead, it's kind of stupid not to.

Stephen Hawking warns against aliens
When Columbus came, he raped, butchered, and murdered our men women and children. (yet the history books make him out to be a hero) Let's just hope the Aliens don't do the same thing.

What is your favorite zombie movie?
Geeze...no one's mentioned Undead yet. Crazy austrailian zombie flick I fell in love with. Especially the scene where the dude is fishing and the zombie fish start attacking him. Classic. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hL6H-OEXF6Y
