Haven't seen any trailers for it yet thankfully. I find that over the last few years, trailers are giving far too much away. I've even started turning up at the cinema 10 mins late so that I miss most of the trailers and ads'. Really can't wait for this movie, and since I've read the book, I don't want to spoil the movie further with a trailer.

It wasn't just a crappy ending... it was a crappy beginning, middle and pretty much everything in between. Definately one of the worst movies of the year. Sienna Gullory was the only good thing about it, and she wasn't in it nearly enough ;)

At first I thought The Phantom Menace was a code name.... turns out they kept it lol. Dumbest name for a movie ever. ;)

No one has mentioned Martin Oneil lol.... heard rumours a few months back that he was considered for the England job.

I hope they don't introduce night time.... I sometimes find it hard enough to see the game screen as it is lol. Darkened areas would just annoy me.

I really don't think the Duelling changes will have much of an impact on Jagex income. Only a small percentage of players actually play duelling, and smaller percentage still will feel so annoyed that they'd quit. There's plenty of other things to do when you're a member anyway.

I recon the new beasts of burden will make "drop items" less efficient anyway. I suspect their plans are to develop beasts that you can quickly offload items to, thus being much quicker than bots that run and bank.

I didn't like it all that much to be honest. Definately way better than the second one (but that wasn't hard), but no where near as good as the first one.

I think it was Mod Bennet that said for sure, that Jagex had no plans to raise the cap beyond 99. That's why they removed the Next level indicator even when you were already on lvl 99 with a particular skill. They confirmed that a lvl cap increase would NOT be the big update they were talking about. I'm disappointed about that to be honest. There's a great calculator on RHQ. I used it and found my combat lvl to be lvl 134 lol. I'd love that to be visible, but I guess it's not going to happen any time soon.

They wanted to call it Animal Lore, but decided to go with what everyone expected lol. I love the fact that Summoning won't be just about combat. I hope the "beasts of burden" help with things like mining (i.e. dumping your invo' onto a beast to be banked). Stuff like that would be awesome. Wonder if this means horses lol

The players do have a major part in the failure too. As Laurence Dallagio said on Top Gear, "We call it the Andrex premiership, soft and unnecessarily expensive". It's really disappointing... especially after fighting back so bravely. Overall, England just didn't look like a team tonight. Mclaren made too many stupid changes to the team again... no wonder they have a hard time playing together. Definately time for a new manager. Mclaren had his chance and frankly, blew it. Any bets on who will replace him?

Sure, switching tasks for slayer is a slgithly slower way of training combat. Despite this, it's worthwhile doing for several reasons. 1. It breaks up the monotomy of fighting one type of monster. 2. Slayer monsters tend to have the best drops. 3. It's a difficult skill to train and you should do so whenever possible. 4. Many future monsters will likely have a slayer level. You'd miss out on many of these. I'd recommend both Edgeville and Lost City for tasks at your level. Remember to buy a black mask and stock up on plenty of supersets. There's a group of extremely tough monsters called the Dagnnoth Kings. There's three in total and they all attack with various types of style. They hit very hard indeed. It's possible to fight them using protection prayers, but this only works against one at a time. Thus fighting two or more is suicide. Some players cheat by luring two onto one player, thus often resulting in their death and illegal harvesting of their expensive items.

Two things shock me.... 1. That 25 million people in Britain are claiming child benefits... that's 38% of the population!!! No wonder there's no money left for anything else 2. That our prime minster Gordon Brown is getting the blame. Yer.... it's his fault some low level clerk whom he's never met or even knew existed, messed up the postage on something neither he nor his party have actual direct control over. Gotta love the British press.... if there's a mole hill somewhere, they'll build a mountain (then probably blame the mole for it)

I was just playing a bit of Rugby 08 and switch on TV.....2-0 within 15 minutes!?!??! :shock: I always thought England were going to lose 1-0, let alone 2 within 15. At this rate we will be relying on Russia losing to Andorra...at least they're doing better than us after 15 minutes -.-. Well England have pulled one back... 2-1 now. They only need one point to go through, so still everything to play for :mrgreen:

Sorry, I totally despise random events.... having them being cast on me on puropse would be infuriating. I can just imagine someone trying to steal a spot I'm on then casting a random on me to do so... no support.

Quite a good idea. I like it but clearly not everyone does. I think it would be a great addition if it was a toggle option to view it or not.

That's only 32k experience.... If you hang out at the Ogre cages north west of Varrock you'll be able to pick up and bury plenty of big bones. I think 5-10k exp per hour is realistic there provided you're on a busy world and there's no other bone collectors.

I've got 99 crafting, but I did it mostly with green bodies rather than vambs. I started out with both tanning and crafting. I generally managed about 1k hides per hour this way (so 75k hides for you). If you're not bothered about turning a profit, I'd suggest buying ready tanned hides to speed this process up. If you alch 75k hides, it'll likely take about 75 hours.... so 150 hours combined.

Geez, Croatia just went a goal up against England. Flukiest goal ever.... poor Carson will be murdered by the press if England go out :(
