No, I believe you must use an actual plank. They're easy enough to collect (Barbarian Outpost, Entrana and cheap from Sawmill in Varrock)

Hobogoblins West of the Crafting Guild. You can safely range them from the guild side and they won't be able to touch you. Only problem is that you won't be able to collect the drops and arrows, unless you take telegrab. They're low def, so you'll hit often and hard, speeding up the exp gained, which is why I recommend them for your level.

I'd suggest Wilderness til level 72 then Ape Atol from then onwards...

I agree that a wider range of both clothing and colours are needed. Nothing worse than seeing half a dozen other players with the same clothing as you. I wonder if Jagex will ever consider clothes making (tailoring), as a skill in the near future, since we're all so fond of being individuals and unique.

I can't wait for the TV series... it's supposed to be out later this year right?

I agree that it's better with surprises, but I'd like them to have a yearly behind the scenes like they used to do. Sort of a vague plan of what's being planned for the year, but without being too specific. That way we'll know if engine updates and new skills are forthcoming.

I would actually avoid a world with a lot of smithers... if an anvil is too crowded I find it harder to "use bar with anvil", and usually end up clicking another player. Which of course slows me down.

Yeah, I remember watching it for about an hour and thinking "Where the hell is Arnie? Leaving it a bit late isn't he". Was reallly suprised he wasn't in it. But Gary Busey and Danny Glover did well enough I suppose ;)
