  1. giant mole and king black dragon drop 690 iron arrows quite frequently. I wouldn't kill them for just the arrows though.
  2. I prefer pearl tipped iron bolts for dragons, since fiery monsters are weak to the special. Also bring emerald bolts (e) to poison them.
  3. Try world 2 because gold farmers rarely kill dragons there and theres a faster spawn time. And maybe you need to find a better spot to kill dragons. My favorite green dragon spot is just north-west of the canoe landing in the wilderness.
  4. I really don't think so. It was said on the official forums -by a Jagex mod- that mining speeds are completely unchanged. I was powermining iron today, and I don't think it is slower. The only difference is that the animation makes it LOOK slower. Can anyone confirm, with math, that they can't powermine as fast as they used to?
  5. i'm missing 2. The new melzar's maze one, and one of the holiday event tunes. I guess this means I'll never complete my list unless they re-release that diango workshop song from 2005.
  6. Here, let me offer you a translation: "If I were you, I would go try myself, but get ready for everyone to call you a noob, as you are taking their dragons. It's fun to do but gets annoying when the chat box has so many noobs in it that you don't see when your potion has run out, which means you will die." Seriously, people, take the time to write something out and maybe use those little marks called punctuation. OT: Cannoning there would be like cannoning at barrows (well, almost). You can't steal others' monsters b/c it's single combat, I personally see nothing wrong with it. Sure, you can get the next monster before anybody else, but it's not that big of a deal. However, because the dungeon will be crowded for the next couple days, I would hold off on the cannon until Sunday, just as a courtesy to everyone else. well it's a good thing I won't be a member again until AT LEAST monday :wall:
  7. I'm not a member atm :boohoo: . And since its single combat, then they're noobs for caring. cannon is only bad if you steal other people's exp.
  8. sure, how about a level 600 Queen Green Dragon!
  9. I, for one, think the kb is one of the best updates I ever saw. The old manual was utterly useless, and never updated. I agree though, that the amazing number of tutorial updates in the past year or 2 have not really encouraged new players to think for themselves.
  10. I started playing runescape over 2 years ago, but I never got to experience classic. All over the forums, people proclaim how rs2 is too easy, and not nearly as fun as the "good ol' days..." in classic. Was classic really more fun than runescape is today? Or is it just nostalgia.... And what made it so much harder than today?
  11. I need to know all the ways you can protect from dragonfire and how well they work. Anti dragon shield protects from most of the damage, add antifire pot and you can't be harmed. I tried an antifire pot by itself and got fried. I heard that protect from mage also lowers the damage from fire breath, but i tried this with an anti d shield and it didnt help. Does protect from mage work by it self? Thanks for the help. I can't try this myself now since i'm a nonmember at the moment.
  12. Pretty simple question here... Is it possible to use a cannon on the brutal green dragons and mithril dragons, or has no one tried that yet? It seems like it might help kill more dragons in a trip.
  13. Here's a good use for fishized potions. Combat potions are cheap and good for combat training. By making them into a mix, they can be used as food. Also, this way, you will be constantly potted up to the max attack and str level, so it's better than using super sets in the long run.
  14. My first goal after joining p2p was to try everything and get all my stats ranked. I accomplished this in under a month, so I don't consider this procrastinating. When hunter came out, I started it the following weekend and got it above 50 that week.
  15. What happened to Fletching? I recently came back from Runescape, still getting members. They made a string "x" option but this makes fletching a hell of alot harder due to less exp per hour How would that make it harder? String X is a good thing isnt it? It takes longer to string bows now than is used to when you could simply click as fast as possible.
  16. well at least it's not THAT bad. Hopefully this means I can see the mithril dragon (this year....)
  17. To be honest, low level (inexperienced) players have no use for new updates. There already is enough low level content to keep them occupied until they become high levels. Adding more low level content for their benefit does nothing other than overwhelm them. When I started runescape, I was happy with all the f2p items for over a year, and during that time, my only real update was the stronghold of security. When I finally joined p2p, I was a medium level player, and I never made a distinction between low and high level updates. I just wanted to try everything. My favorite quest was "a soul's bane", a novice quest with one of the crappiest rewards in the game. It was a low level update that I really enjoyed doing for the storyline and the puzzles. My second favorite quest was DT, one of the hardest quests in the game, which I completed without a guide. I now have a quest cape, and have experienced almost everything in the game, other than the dagannoth kings, and tz tok-jad. To me, the "High level content" argument is a fool's argument. What matters is that the updates are fun, whether they require high levels or not.
  18. There's only one solution with no loopholes. We need to track down the people who make the autoers, and lock them up  . Of course this would be tricky, as there's probably hundreds of them, and they aren't technically breaking any laws. Also, they could escape occasionally. Oh well, no solution is perfect...
  19. the second time I had it, I wanted to see how many gems I could get, so I let it multiply to about 25. Then I realized you only get a reward for opening the last one :XD:
  20. In all my years (one year) of playing Runescape, I've never seen a level 3 hit a 6. poison.....
  21. easy skill too :D They're all easy :-w . Farming is just less easy than the other skills.
  22. very useful guide 8-)
  23. it sounds sort of like obstacles, kind of like the axe obstacle in the brimhaven dungeon.
  24. In this month's BTS, Jagex states that you need to: "Construct burial ships, wield new one-handed spears, start fires the old-fashioned way, modify potions and go bare-handed harpoon fishing" I for one am getting my firemaking and fishing up as fast as I can before the update for mithril dragons comes out. This could mean a mad rush for high levels to get into the special dungeon. It's like when everyone tried to raise hunter all at once for the new dragon implings, but this time, they didn't tell us the specific requirements in advance. What will the new requirements be, and who will take part in the rush to be the first to experience the great MITHRIL DRAGONS  !!! Discuss...
  25. thanks :P actually no, that was what you value more, not what you have more of. but yeah, it was completely one-sided and the only people with more money will probably be merchanters. Sorry, I couldn't find that topic.
