Exactly. If you're ACTUALLY thinking well, you won't drop off after a break. In fact, you shouldn't have breaks at all unless for some illness or personal family matter and such. Exams and papers and girlfriends and nights out should not be pushing back a healthy lifestyle is my point.

Meh, I don't care for the boots. Maybe its because I'm in Canada, but I don't see myself wearing something that fancy and expensive when there's so much salt on the ground 6/12 months of the year. The shoes, however... dear god! EDIT: from the link

Today I noticed a lot of posts in Off-Topic are deleted regularly. And I rarely visit or post, so I can imagine the extent is pretty big.

Holy.... 60 dollars is cheap? I've never had a pair of jeans that I paid over 25$ for... http://putthison.com/post/8053052900/put-this-on-episode-7-personal-style-episode at 9:00 When something is well-made, it lasts, and it has more value, economically and aesthetically. Welted shoes are a good example: 600$ for a pair of near-indestructible shell cordovan boots (plus resoling costs) is a better deal than spending thousands on a myriad of cheap shoes which will last you just as long. Not to mention it looks [bleep]ing amazing. Last link, bottom right shoes... I want so badly. EDIT: it kinda looks like those are high heel type shoes based on the how high the sole looks on the inside, unless thats an insert that they put in to keep the shape consistent?

Its all a matter of thinking well. And if you think well, you'll know whats best for you most of the time, which involves investing time into being healthy by working on your body. That's how I look at it !

Naked and Famous are my only raw denim type jeans. Unno if they authentic or whatever you want to term them, but holy hell, those pants are annoying to wear. Its probably just the cut, but I always have a bad testicle day when I wear them.

Dreamy Hypotheticals - if you found a million dollars

Change my name, get arrested a few times, buy lots of Dunkaroos, hire someone smart to write all my papers, pay money to a shopkeep to stop serving somebody I hate, buy a fireman uniform, and so on and so forth. -
Just spent 2 hours in the gym after a 2 week hiatus. I don't know why I push myself so hard after a long period of inactivity.. I know I'll be spent for the rest of the day yet I still do it. I feel like a sloth, but by god my body aches nice n good.

I don't think that that is Cain in trailer.. the guy was 200+ years old in Diablo 1 and 2, so for him to be an uncle to such a young lady is unlikely.

Today I am sick. Yes, invincible me who hasn't been sick for over 12 months has caught a cold. And finally, being of the working gender, I consider myself an invalid until my body decides to cure itself.

Almost didn't make it to 22 years old, holy cow. 2 nights in a row I got shitfaced here in Montreal with good friends (one night involving a 22-cup beer pong game) and the third night I somehow managed to go up to Quebec city and party with cousins, also got shitfaced there. Needless to say on the fourth day (Sunday) I did not rise like Jesus had and instead stayed in bed most of the day. BUT Today is Monday and I am cleansed. Time to get stuff done.

I only do squats without weights, and leave the heavy stuff for various machines that work different parts of the leg. I find my knees are too fragile for doing weighted squats (doesn't help that my uncle and 2 aunts had knee surgery in the past 2 years).

1) I'm sad we lost Kirk Muller as a head coach. 2) I'm glad Georges is starting to get recognized by the silly fans. 3) I'm VERY glad they fired Gautiers ass and his right hand man/pet Gainey. I have hopes (for the next season) now that those two are gone, assuming they are actually properly cut off.

The Walking Dead ... I don't see how people can get into that show. The comics, sure, theres no actors in comics. But the show... holy balls its the worst sack of shit I've ever tried watching.

Pretty sure I joined right after Scapeboard became Tip.it cause I don't remember Scapeboard. But I used to play that browser based game... rune-arena was it? Anywho, my current fave poster is that Tim guy.

Yeah I could see them useful for improving squat form but even then I'd advise against using one after doing a few sets myself.. Good workout today! Its amazing how much quicker I get stuff done when I'm alone (compared to with 2 friends) but its 9 pm and I'm already exhausted. For people that normally workout during the day: what do you do in order to keep your energy up after a workout, when you still have half a day ahead of you?

Spent/spending all night analyzing Genetics papers :geek:

Sounds reasonable yeah, but my new gym has no bench press/free weight bars (easiest cop-out ever!). It's actually pretty sad for weight training... the only bench press is one of those bars that's locked into a railing so that you don't hurt yourself or something. Its so much easier that I did twice as many reps as I normally do and I wasn't even tired (bro). And the heaviest free weight dumbbells are 50 lbs  . The biggest difference: no blaring music!! No music at all! Finally, a gym that understands mp3 players exist! What I did on my first day back: -bench press (easy mode railing) -bench press free weight -shoulder press free weight -behind the head triceps free weight -bicep curls -abs declined -leg press machine thing -15 mins cardio bike

Are you on TWC? Just wondering nothing personal. Those dreams must be annoying, as I have said before, I sleep to deeply and never dream, which I find annoying because they are always good when it happens. The Weather Channel?

Is the only way to follow it by looking at daily workouts? Seems like an unnecessary hassle and that I'm probably missing something. Anywho, joining university gym tomorrow. For the past ~2 years Ive been working out nights (earliest 9 pm), so this will be the main difference between gyms. I'll try noting any changes to how well I study, because I know that after a workout at night I'm useless, can't concentrate well and need a bed. I will be alone at this new gym, so having a workout plan like crossfit might motivate me to go more.

For the past... awhile.. I can't stop dreaming about a girl that got away and its depressing as balls to wake up in the morning nowadays. Its like jeez come on brain, let it go.

Was doing a lab yesterday when a centrifuge started making a shitton of noise. I was like :ohnoes: for the 0.5 seconds it was making noise until there was a loud BANG and then nothing. Thankfully it was not a mistake of balancing it, and that it was just a failure in one of the tubes being spun. If it was the former, the whole thing would have exploded and people probably would have died. Phew. Anyways, I decided to not join the province-wide strike today and instead had breakfast with a very pretty lady and am new reading assigned papers. Overall A+ day. EDIT: gotta love my city:
