If you found a million bucks, what would you do with it? It cannot be saved for a rainy day.

I'd buy me a Toyota Supra (1995) and pimp it out.

$1,000,000 = £620,000 or so.

 

That should be enough to buy a flat in London and set myself up in business as a Web Designer once I've graduated. :)

I'd disappear, leaving a set of clues (Including red herrings. Especially red herrings.) as to what happened to me and offer some cash prize to the first person to follow them. This assumes that a million dollars is enough to completely reinvent my identity and start a new life overseas, while still having enough left over to build an elaborate game out of it.

 

Or I'd invest it. That's what normal people do with large amounts of free money, isn't it? There's a reason that I don't trust myself with money... :razz:

Live out my life as an adult child for awhile and catch up on the childhood I missed for a decade while working on my abilities with digital art as my hobby along with reading. With $1,000,000 it'd take 10-15 years to use it up.

 

Yeah, I really couldn't think of anything else. "Be hedonistic" was the first thing to pop into my head.

I'd put it with the $2m i currently have and keep on living the way i do.

If i were to win $1 000 000 today i would probably do something ive been wanting to do for ages. I'd travel the world. One of the main reasons i decided to become a pilot was so i could see the world. I love seeing how other nations live, love and celebrate. That's something i would do for sure.I would also like to take someone with me, a good friend.

 

I'd like to do something really nice for my parents, to thank them for the wonderful life they have given me. I'm not quite sure how i would do this because they have pretty much been everywhere, seen everything.

 

Whatever is left over would go towards funding the killing of Robert Mugabe.

I'd use it to visit some friends of mine, pay for college fees and pay for Uni fees too. If I had any left after taking that out, I would probably get myself somewhere nice to live.

Spend the rest of my life high. I'm serious.

If I got £1,000,000 I would probably buy a nice house somewhere in England with my boyfriend, it'd not be too massive but it would definitely have a gym. I think we'd get a car as well. The money could easily pay off both our student finances and leave us not having to worry about money for a while. Maybe we'd travel, probably to America for an event like PAX or something. I don't think either of us are keen to really explore or move away from England, there's too many horrible, deadly creepy crawlies in other countries :unsure:

What can I say, I love relaxing.

Buy a flat, travel a bit, invest a bit, and 'do a Furah'.

Buy a house, car, new appliances and furniture, pay off my debt and live easy as I return to school and become a history professor.

Buy a house with my boyfriend... with a room for all my books. I'd use some of the rest go pay for a few book conventions or see authors at their various signings. Right now I wait for them to come to where I live, but with that money I'd fly to go to them (if they're not already booked to come to me).

Invest it all in google stocks.

I might recruit some armed Berbers and become the leader of a Sahara-based cattle rustling gang until Libya becomes a proper country again (ie, with a functioning central government).

 

Then I would use the remaining $900,000 to found a holding company and set myself up for life.

I'd buy a shrubbery.

Id pay someone to kill their family and collect their life insurance. Then I'd kill them and take the money. Then I'd use that money to pay someone else to kill their family. Then I'd kill them. Repeat ad nauseum.

 

As long as they have good policies and make it look like an accident, it'll be profitable.

Change my name, get arrested a few times, buy lots of Dunkaroos, hire someone smart to write all my papers, pay money to a shopkeep to stop serving somebody I hate, buy a fireman uniform, and so on and so forth.

I'd invest it until I was 20 years old, most of it or about 900k into stable and profitable stocks, and the other 100k I would spread throughout risky starting ventures in hopes of scoring big.

 

Hopefully I would have around 2-3 million by the time I was 20, from the 900k and more from the 100k,

Then I would buy myself a nice piece of land give or take 10-15 acres. Build a house that is roughly 3 stories with one being a basement, and then put everything I can into the house within some reason. So it would have a gym fully fitted, a library, a really nice kitchen (stainless steel everywhere and everything I could need), a wide open floor area for many things with some sort of running track or something, and probably an inside swimming pool. More that I can't think of now, but anything that I didn't use building the house and making sure I had no debt would go back to where it was so that I could just take a bit out when I needed it and live my life doing what I wanted when I wanted.

I would like to think that I would donate most of it without hesitation to the SENS foundation.

Let's just say I'd have a full medieval armory.

 

And a chainmail vest for every day of the week.

I'd consider putting it in a bank and just living of the interest for the next year or so. I'm not exactly sure how much interest I'd get but I'm assuming it'd be around 20-30k? Even if it's only 10k in one year that'd be plenty for a 17 year old who lives at home with his parents. Then I guess I'd go overseas for a year and maybe buy a house or something.
