Ah, this sounds awesome. Equally good: instead of working on a car, hang around a bbq and grill some food. but since it is winter: That feeling you get when your damp socks finally dry and your toes defrost under a blanket. Preferably with a girl but not required. EDIT: not season-related but I smile when I get a text 1-2 weeks after getting blackout drunk from girls who are wondering when I'm finally gonna message them.

So basically a celebration and a lot of drinking, which isn't much of a change of scenery for you anyway ;) My beer froze in my hands one weekend, it was pretty epic. The second you step out of the crowd its windy and -25 celcius so everyone is huddled and jamming =D>

If I'm drinking alone at home its because other people on the other end of the Skype call are drinking, too. Also, I got wrecked at beer pong by 2 drunk dudes last night. But since winner stays, a girl smacked one of the drunk guys really hard in the face because she wanted to play me next so it was worth it.

:thumbup: Congrats! Yesterday I was in 'petty mode', being a jerk to a girl who stomped on my heart. Not my proudest moment, but I was only text-harassing her so she probably just ignored them anyways. Ah well, hopefully I got all that anger out of the way so I can concentrate on university.. I learned last week that getting a grant for research in genomics was drastically cut this year all around Canada, so my chances of getting a paid summer job in a high tech genomics lab went from being 100% guaranteed to cross my fingers. :ohnoes: I wish warri0r were still around so we could discuss the state of genetics.

I don't like how I have to tip more for the same service. More specifically, why should I tip a waiter ~20$ for an expensive bottle of wine if he/she put as much effort bringing it to me as if it were a 10$ bottle? The system is obviously flawed, but it wouldn't be a problem or even exist if everyone just did their [bleep]ing jobs properly.

People who take too goddamn long to decide whether they are going to walk passed on my left on my right. FIRST of all, if you were on the correct "half" of the sidewalk this wouldn't be a problem. SECOND, stop looking so nervous and walking stiff legged. Is EVERYTHING you do this freaking awkward? I don't even know you and I feel bad for you after we cross paths. I swear I would pull off a spin'o'rama on you but there's ~4 million other people in the city and I'd just bump into them instead.

There are definitely some who look better without. I 'knew' one girl who would only wear eyelash and so little blush I had to ask if she wore makeup. Later in the year when she woke up next to me she actually looked better - whether it was because I was an idiot who thought her shit smelled of roses or not is up to you to decide. I also had to laugh (silently, to myself) when she actually tried putting on more makeup to look better... it was a trainwreck. My new favourite thing about girls is the ass. Ever since yesterday in fact, when three hotties were working out in booty shorts so short that part of their asses hung out. I felt like I was in a game show trying not to get a boner while doing my abdominals *right* behind them working out their asses (bent over, doing the leg motion). But now that I think of it, if theyre allowed waltzing around with those things loose, I should at least be allowed sporting a semi. Ah well.

I had a really really good one I was going to amaze you all with when I thought it up this morning, but that was like 15 hours ago. ... ... ... OH! My lab partner. Not his fault or anything - I came in late and we were forced to pair up. Surely enough, a stunning 9-10/10 hottie shows up a week later (today) and was paired up with the ONE person who came in later than me. How am I supposed to be kind and charming and suave and swooning when I'm doing labwork with a DUDE? It's ridiculous is what it is.

Yeah, the last thing you wanna do is tear yourself apart over it. Either talk to her about it immediately (what I would do) without letting yourself make up your own ideas (probably too late for that) or cut her off. Today I decided to get shit done. I have my awesome lab mug I got from my supervisor for Christmas filled with coffee and I'm practically bouncing off the walls. I have to much stuff to do but at this rate I'll be done in like 10 seconds whooooooooosh there I go

Dude, everyone likes to think they're [bleep]ing doctors. My family members are so stupid when it comes to health issues because they think they actually know how their medication works. I have aunts that deliberately up or lower their doctor-prescribed dosage just because of how it makes them feel. I had an aunt who boasted about how she found out she only had to take half as many of her antibiotic pills right in front of my older brother (a doctor) who just shrugged sadly and told her to listen to her doctor. Guess what? 2 weeks later, the problem resurfaced, and she was put on more antibiotics. Then at school I have to put up with people who try shoving vitamin D pills down my throat because they heard on the radio that such and such. And then you have girls, who may smell and look nice and have nice soft boobies, but in general they are just a giant pain in the ass.

My Facebook news feed blew up with Camms news when he just bounced from the game last night after period 2. He always seemed like a Flames type of guy to me, so I'm happy for him and hoping Bourque will fit in nicely.

Currently on book 2 of A Song of Ice and Fire, going strong.

After a gym hiatus since September, I'm back at it. Holy crow it feels amazing to be working out again, and its only been 1.5 weeks since I've restarted. Yesterday I did chest a triceps, today biceps and back, tomorrow legs abs and shoulders. That's my crude workout plan for now.

This is gold. So glad I watch hockey in French so that I don't watch this guy all the time except for the Juniors and such. BTW, juniors is on guys!

Good man. I was on vacation as of Thursday morning. This feels all kinds of great, actually sleeping is doing wonders for me. The lack of alcohol coursing through my veins also feels pretty good, but I'm going out tonight and will probably drink some more :thumbsup:

I saw multiple basketball fights at work during my summer job. 99% of the time its just a bunch of tall angry dudes frustrated at their own team, but then there's always that one shithead who sucker punches a dude and all hell breaks loose. Which seems to be exactly what happened in that video hahah :rolleyes:
