The most I've seen here on TIF is about 150. The most I've ever seen on any forum is in the hundreds of thousands of pages. I much prefer the smaller forums such as Tip.It.

I think it's very possible. You have to realize that his hearing is much better than a normal person's hearing. For what he lacks in sight, he almost fully makes up for in hearing. I'm sure it's harder but for someone like him, I think it's very possible. On a side note, this kid is amazing. Using echos to "see"? Wow.

Yeah, I was watching a 20/20 episode on the end of the world. They named the 7 most likely ways the end of the world could happen. Global warming was right at #1. I figure it's very possible. The worst thing about it is that it's the people on this planet that are causing it. It's almost like suicide. Another thing that I found interesting was that on Friday, April 13th, 2029, an asteroid will come so close to Earth that it will dip under our communications satellites. It will not hit us but it will just miss us. The thing is, a few years later (they said the exact number but I don't remember), the same asteroid will come at us again. This time, there is a 1/1000 chance that it could hit us. It would not cause the end of the world but it woulc change the way we know the world. It's kind of scary when you think that in the next 100 years, our planet could be changed so drastically and we could possibly prevent it.

Has anyone read, "Level 7"? It's a fairly short book about nuclear war and the end of the world. It was pretty good IMO.

Dune? I think I've seen part of the movie. That's the series with the worms and the guy that kills with his voice, right? Either way, the movie was extremely weird but I kind of liked it. I've always meant to get the first book so I could start reading them...

It's because most people don't care that they made a mistake if the machine will correct it for them. When I make errors in something that has a spell check, I blatently ignore the red underline. I just do a spell check when I'm finished, make sure the machine isn't trying to correct a name, and just let it correct them all. I rarely see people who actually look at the word they mispelled and say, "Oh no! I mispelled a word. Let's see, 'G-R-A-M-M-A-R'. Okay, I don't think I'll miss that one again,". On the other hand, if you rewrite the word that you missed 10 times each, your brain, whether you know it or not, takes that correct spelling and stores it in your memory.

Don't worry about that. Some of the most frequent posters on this forum don't play runescape anymore. I don't play RS. I joined up when I did play, and when I quit, I never left this place. Umm, as for videos, I'm pretty sure they go in the off-topic section.

Umm... I don't exactly feel like reading through five pages of posts so I'll get straight to the point. I agree. I tend to take posts less seriously if they don't use correct grammar. It's mainly the capitalization, punctuation, and incorrect spelling of simple words that get me. My friend, up until seventh grade, spelled the word "most", "moast". Anyway, the only time I completely ignore correct grammar is when I'm talking on things like AIM or MSN messenger.

I assume you meant "The" instead of "Who". Anyway, yeah, I agree. The entire series was great. Orson Scott Card is a genius...

Shouldn't this be in the Movies/Music section? Whatever. The most pointless movie I have ever seen was Date Movie. It was so friggin stupid. I mean they tried so hard to be funny that it wasn't funny.

Ender's Game Ender's Shadow Those are two of my favorites... They are quite similar. Both have are about the same thing but told by different characters... If you read one, you have to read the other one also. I suggest starting with Ender's Game if you do decide to read them.

My history teacher last year taught us about the Salem Witch trials in a fun but slightly cruel way. We had just finished a test the day before and we came into class she acted mad. She slammed the door when she walked in and the class got quiet. She proceede to tell us that she had reason to believe that some of us cheated on the test. She named 10 people, the 10 people least likely to cheat. Then she told us 10 to stand out in the hall. She walked out and as soon as the door shut she told us what was going on. She told us that when we walked back in, to act like we were going to the office. Anyway, it was real fun and she tied it all into the Salem Witch trials really well. One of my favorite teachers that I've ever had.

I agree. I hate reality TV. There's so much and so much of it are ripoffs of different reality shows. Really though: Wife Swap = Trading Spouses Super Nanny = That other nanny show... I hate TV in general but I hate reality TV the most.

I like the one in your sig much more. Looks like it took more skill than this one. This sig just looks a little too easy... Still, I've always liked sprite sigs so I do like this one.

Looks pretty nice. The drops on the flower really add a nice effect to the picture. The only thing I don't like is how it kind of looks like it was dark and that the only light came from an artificial source such as the camera or lamp. Still, very nice for your best out of your first thirty. Good job.
