Dragon Pick worth it?
I mine there fairly often, and from my personal observations and conversations with the other miners, it DOES in fact appear that d pick offers no benefit over the rune pick at Concentrated Gold (can't say about Con. Coal though, but most likely the same).

28-Oct-2009 - FunOrb Hallowe'en
Hmm, interesting. I could use a few more Orb Coins as well.

These orbs are attached to the shields, correct?

Dragon Pick worth it?
You are actually asking two question, based on all of the posts: 1) Is it worth its current value? 2) Is it worth buying for use? No to the first, Yes to the second.

PvP & Potions - From the RSOF
99 herby and a lead mod of Jagex? Do I sense hax? Fair enough I suppose, but I still don't feel the potions are worth getting.

Withdraw Multiple Items
Useful, there is no doubt. However, I don't agree with all of the suggestions that are essentially adding "legal macros". While I like the idea and would certain appreciate having it, I just don't feel it's "right", so to speak", to add it. Whenever I think about it, it just seems like Jagex giving players a "legal macro", to use the same term. People macro in order to save time. There are macros for fishing, for example, that automatically drop fish or follow a fishing spot that moves. There are dropping macros that drop your inventory. There are combat macros that eat when you are low in health and ensure you are always in combat. There are macros for almost everything. In fact, there is for certain a fletching macro that automatically withdraws 14 unstrung bows and 14 bowstrings. When should we legalize this macro by making a built-in one in-game? Will we eventually automatically follow fishing spots? Will we eventually have built-in auto-droppers? Drop-X options? Automatic eating? Somewhere, a line has to be drawn. For me, this suggestion is past that line. You and other people may have a different idea of where that line is, but personally speaking, this is past it. We cannot keep asking Jagex to make built-in codes to perform actions for us. It doesn't feel proper to me, and as I've said, will lead to more problems. To clarify, I like this suggestion. I would like to see this added, in a perfect world. However, the consequences (moral and otherwise) outweigh the benefits, and therefore I will have to say that this should not be implemented into the game.

[Updated 9 Dec] Reviving Smithing : Divinite
Haven't been too active lately, but I will get working on this again when I get the time. As stated, 155 smithing isn't the "real" requirement. The "real" base level needed is 95, which is a lot more reasonable, no? "need to revamp the weapons system" is too vague for me to work with. Please elaborate. The rest I think I've addressed. Hawk, I've sent you a pm.

Leaked picture of a new rs interface?
168 days 1 hour. I'm surprised that actually isn't too long.

Leaked picture of a new rs interface?
I don't think so, the font doesn't really match Jagex's style.

Herb growing?
No, but certainly you can't believe that is the only reason an item would rise. Think about it, I don't think it is going down anything soon.

Gathering Charms
This is debatable. Rock Lobsters, while costing ~1m/hour, come with 1 hour worth of HP xp AND 1 hour worth of magic xp. So in 1 hour of Rock Lobsters, you get double the sum xp compared to Waterfiends, an 1 of HP xp, and an hour of magic xp. In all, that's 4 hours of effort. For Waterfiends, all you get is ~30-45 minutes of strength xp, adding up to less than 2 hours of effort. Clearly, Rock Lobsters are the superior option. People who make roughly 500k or more per hour (which is what? Aviansies?) are better off at Rock Lobsters. Cannoning Scarabites is also a very good method and is less risky (you are more likely to die, but you can easily return there in time, while if you die at Rock Lobsters you're screwed over, but at both places it's kinda hard to die if you know what you're doing.).

Problems abt training theiving with ardy cloak
Just Hard bladewing. It probably does not affect knocking out in Blackjacking, and probably does affect PP. That being said, it is still worth wearing at Blackjacking, in case you mistime a pickpocket.

Herb growing?
Actually, they will most likely stay at a high price for some time to come. I can't see them crashing to ~14k for some time.

Herb growing?
Snaps, many people forget that the farming xp you get from snaps is significantly more than the alternative herbs (not so much kwuarms, but kwuarms usually don't profit as much), and this farming xp is not worthless.

Runecrafting
I can't give you exact numbers anymore, but I can give you two things: a guide that will answer everything, and enough info to deduce the answers yourself. Zarfot's Mega Runecrafting Guide 4 conveniently answers all of your questions.

F2p money making
Right, gotcha thanks.

F2p money making
Bladewing, does that still work now that there aren't unlimited stocks?
-
F2p money making
No, steel bars are more like 60-70k per hour, if I recall correctly. Mining gold is over 100k/hour, so get the level for that.

Mining
Strike out iron completely, there is no purpose. Granite is 60k/hr for most people, but if you're really good at it you can break 70k/hr and even reach 80k. This, however, runs a loss (since you will need to pay for humidify runes/water runes for enchanted water tiara somehow). Living Rock Caverns (gold) is 40k/hr-45k/hr with 300k profit. It is also CONSIDERABLY easier (the 70k+ granite method involves clicking nearly every second). So while Living Rocks would take 2x-3x longer than granite, it is easier and it makes more money (which I know you said not to mention, but the difference is so huge it is worth mentioning anyway). Pick your poison.

[Help Wanted!] Mining: A Complete Guide
Thanks! Granzi, I was looking more for data rather than a listing of locations. For example, 1 load of iron takes XX seconds using a locator, or something to that effect. My opinion is that the locators are not worth the trouble. It is better to gain a few seconds than to have to play a game of MA every hour or so.

[Help Wanted!] Mining: A Complete Guide
Thanks for the support, both of you! Warrior, do you happen to have numbers for MA Locators? I haven't done any real testing on those. It would be very helpful if you did.

F2P Skill Training
Maples are DEFINITELY worth the cost. To level 99, you pay 3m more to save about 20-30 hours or so. Plus, it's not like it's an hour of cooking or something, it's an hour of FIREMAKING [/personal fear] Superheating iron is the fastest you can get in f2p, at ~90-100k xp/hr but at a ~200k/hr loss. Mith is slower (55-60k xp/hr) but typically breaks even. Alternatively, you can alch.
