  1. You could enchant bolts w/ mousekeys.
  2. Palms and Maples are both roughly 10gp/xp. So if you need about 11m xp, you won't spend more than 110m, because the xp from herbs/bushes/calquats will be cheaper (not to mention the profit from herbs). I'm going for 99 farm (96 atm), and it is costing me ~70-80m after subtracting profits from herbs/other such farming things.
  3. You can use a stout. What if the smithing update is a level-based update? That is to say, what if smithing in the new update would be better if you had a higher level, like mining? In mining, 99 is obviously superior to 98 since you will mine ores slightly faster. What if the new update creates something that follows similar rules? Unlikely, but something to think about. I, personally, would get it. Any level over 95 annoys the hell out of me. If I have any level 96 or higher I get 99 in it, unless I am unable to (time or money restrictions, etc.).
  4. It was an example. I don't expect it to get to 20m, just like I don't expect it to get to 2m. But, you must admit, it technically CAN get to that price range. It's just extremely unlikely. SS gives better bonuses when compared to the d scim + rune defender. Realize that. You also get a prayer bonus, which isn't ALWAYS useful, but it is nice to have. In addition, you can use the CRUSH attack style, which allows you to kill Waterfiends, Gargolyes, and the like MUCH faster compared to even the whip+rune defender or Godsword. Zerker combo, on the other hand, is better, but isn't so obvious. You need to remember that the necklace DOESN'T increase your strength by 20%. It increases your DAMAGE by 20%, which means each hit is 20% higher. You may ask then, "why do you still hit 0s and 1s?", that's because most damages are a decimal number, then rounded to the damage you see in-game. Also, there are 2 ways you can hit a 0. You can either totally miss the monster (low attack level), or you can HIT the monster, but deal damage less than .5 (low strength). For example, if you would have dealt 0 damage because you totally missed, 0 + 20% of 0 is still 0. If you would have dealt .3 damage, .3 + 20% of .3 is .36, which is less than .5 and is rounded down to 0. If you hit a 1, 1+ 20% of 1 is 1.2, which is rounded to 1. So you can see, 20% more damage doesn't always make you hit higher. Then again, if you would have dealt 25.4, adding 20% makes it 30.48, which is rounded down to 30, resulting in an overall bonus of 5 damage. If you got .02 higher, you would deal a 31, which would make it 6 extra damage. Zerker combo is TESTED to be 5k-7k faster xp/hr than the d scim in most locations.
  5. Level 20 in Farmville, level 96 RS farming lol. \:D/ Yeah it is kind of pointless, but it's pretty fun I suppose. Enough to make me play it. It doesn't take much time commitment. I just run my harvester, tractor, and seeder for 1-2 minutes each at different times of the day.
  6. Congratz! I've had this title for a long time, but I gotta do that new quest to have it all done again  Very few players have all songs unlocked. Most don't even bother.
  7. You can also use regular bait, which is cheaper.
  8. In one word, Slayer. People often say that slayer doesn't give as much profit as normal method. Ok, that might be true, but also remember the xp in the Slayer skill IS worth something, the extra xp you get overall IS worth something, and the slayer reward points ARE worth something (I believe you get an average of 100k bonus money per task if you spend all your points on Slayer Dart runes, and if you can do 1.5 tasks per hour, that's 150k extra gp/hour just for training slayer. This is, however, using Duradel). If you can find a team (which may be hard since you don't have 70 prayer, but 99 ranged will help you a lot), try boss monsters.
  9. Heavy rod fishing gives roughly 60-65k fishing xp per hour. No guide is really needed since the process is extremely simple. Buy normal fishing bait, fish, then drop the raw fish. You do also get agility and strength xp. By the time you get to 99 you will have 12 hours of agility xp and 12 hours of strength xp, I believe. Of course, this is greater if you start at a lower level and lower if you start at a higher level. It's "insignificant", maybe, but it DOES add up. However, realize there is no profit. So you are essentially sacrificing 1/3 of your xp per hour for 250k extra money (which isn't entirely true, since you need to consider the agil and str xp, but let's keep it simple for now). This means in 2 hours of heavy rod fishing, you get 3 hours worth of rocktails. However, in those 3 hours of rocktails, you also get 750k profit. What does this mean? This means if in the 1 hour of time you save (by using the heavy rod method) you can make over 750k, heavy rod is better. This is not the majority of people, but if it does describe you, Heavy Rod fishing is better.
  10. Right. If you buy it for 10m, use it for a month, then sell it for 10m, are you really wasting millions on a weapon? Of course, you might sell it back for 9m, or maybe 8m, maybe 2m, maybe 9.5m. Then again you could sell it back for 11m, 14m, 20m, or 10.2m. You can't use the argument, "You might lose money when you resell" because you can just as easily gain money. There's an equal chance since the market flows are largely random (this isn't entirely true since you can predict the changes and buy it at a low and sell it at a high point following the curves on the graphs).
  11. Controlled the technically the fastest way to train, since you never need to use a dscim, zerker combo, or SS to train. Generally speaking, SS >/= Zerker Combo > d scim for strength. Whip is still the best for everything else. SS and Zerker combo are arugably equal. Harder situations favor the SS while easier spots favor the zerker combo.
  12. http://forum.tip.it/topic/247138-rocktail-fishing-guide/ Caps at roughly 42k xp/hour and 250k profit per hour, making them better than Monkfish, but only slightly, and for most people far better than Barbarian fishing (heavy rod and fly fishing).
  13. Zerker Necklace + Obby sword is generally about 5-7k xp/hr superior over the d scim. Zerker combo is arguably equal to the SS (varies with location, tougher locations favor the SS while easier locations slightly favor the zerker combo), so SS would logically be over 5-7k xp/hr superior, since you typically train at harder locations (compare a hard location such as AZs to an easy one like Bloodvelds).
  14. Easy. The location is hands-down Giant Spiders, but you will need to tank. If your defense isn't up to it (imo, anyone with under 70 defense will get hit too often), you next best choice is Flesh Crawlers, which are almost as good, but not quite. Once again, you will need to tank, but not so much. Xp is in the 30-40k range. See my f2p combat guide (AoW) for more details. Link to it is in my sig. Alternatively, you can range greater demons. I've heard it's decent (~5k less xp per hour than giant spiders) and comes with decent profit for f2p. So you could try that too.
  15. Scarabites are to ranged what rock lobsters are to magic. While it is inferior to rock lobsters in regard to overall xp and charms, it DEFINITELY worth you giving it a shot.
  16. Actually, string jewelry is neither fast nor effective. It is ~120-130k mage xp/hour, which is relatively high when compared to skills such as slayer or agility, but it isn't fantastic for magic. Plankmake tops 150k and is cheaper, while rock lobsters are 110k AND come with 60k hp xp as well as a huge amount of charms. As far as cost goes, it's currently around 6gp/xp, which again is relatively low compared to skills such as farming or prayer, but for magic that is expensive. Note that Rock Lobsters are only roughly 7-8gp/xp, and come with HP and SUMMONING xp in addition to magic. Really, the only benefit of the spell is that you can AFK it. So if I were you, I would sell those amulets for max to those poor suckers who chose to train using String Jewelry, and laugh knowing that you are one of the smarter players, which are a rare breed.
  17. Snape grass would be far better than the yews.
  18. Really should consider Suicune.
  19. Yeah, but if you really had to think of ONE item that is the most important, besides coins to buy everything, since coins themselves are useless. I'm still thinking of one myself. You should make a most useful inventory :P That'd be fun for people to construct their 28 items that they must play the rest of rs with. I'm sure you could make a decent list, naturally neglecting some skills. Tinderbox -> Hatchet -> Glory ammy -> Mining pick -> Hammer -> 4 Box traps -> Bow You get the idea. Would be too hard. All the runes you need would already take up 1/3 of your space.
  20. Here's my understanding: 1. Spam click until your special points are negative 2. Forfeit a DA match to completely restore your special points If so, that's got to be abuse. If I am misunderstanding something, please tell me.
  21. Zaaps1

    Smash Club.

Lol, I tried replacing Mario Circuit's song with "Tokyo Drift" from Fast and Furious. 1) I fail at Goldwave and 2) It doesn't fit the theme too well. No enough background, cars move too bloody slow and the sun doesn't help. Maybe New Pork...
  22. Interesting. I'm sure there isn't one item that is the most useful. No matter what you do, you most likely rely on more than 1 item.
  23. Hey thanks for posting again, I will get around to adding this!
  24. Wouldn't this be bug abuse? I don't think you're SUPPOSED to be able to have negative special move points.
