  1. Stab is much more effective on metals.
  2. And yet those 30 seconds of time give you 120 teleports, which will last ~2-2.5 hours. So those 30 seconds are just .3% of the final yield. So no, it doesn't add up. It doesn't add up at all. (Ok fine, it adds up, but you get what I mean, the number it adds up to aren't significant). Yeah each teleport is 25gp. Ok so what? In 1 hour, that's not even 2k in costs. That's equal to roughly 5-6 extra essence crafted, if you can craft double cosmics. This method can EASILY let you craft a mere 6 extra essence per hour. So no, it doesn't add up at all. EDIT: 20 seconds to bank? Is that with or without mousekeys?
  3. Taken from my farming guide. Look in my sig for the full guide. It is better to do tree/fruit tree, herb, jade vine and bush runs (and bushes ARE actually worth farming) separate. Exception are Calquats. Tree/Fruit Tree: 1. Tele to Varrock 2. Tele to Lumbridge 3. Tele to Falador 4. Tele to Camelot/Catherby 5. Duelling Ring to MA and Spirit Tree to Gnome Village 6. Duelling Ring to MA and Spirit Tree to Gnome Stronghold 7. Balloon to Taverly 8. Duelling Ring to MA and Spirit Tree to Brimhaven, then run south to Calquat 9. Tiny Elf Crystal to Lleyta 1 run takes 7-8 minutes. My best time is in the low 7 minutes. Herbs: 1. Tele to Camelot/Catherby 2. Tele to Trollheim 3. Tele to Ectofungus 4. Tele to Fishing Guild 5. Tele to Cabbage Patch 6. Tele to Duel Arena
  4. Each Slayer Ring has 8 charges and they're pathetically easy to make. I don't think that is too big of an issue. I can confirm this, and it takes ~10 seconds to craft the runes if you're good. This does, in fact, mean this method is better than the abyss.
  5. I'm not saying it IS better, but that it MIGHT be better. Look into it more, how much is the time saved worth to you?
  6. It is. It's a good method, but only for lower levels. Simple truth is that higher levels will simply kill them too fast, even on world 1. Plus, flesh crawlers are better anyway. EDIT: Did you really get 47k? I doubt that a little, especially since I get no where near that at 99/99.
  7. Salamanders: catch the best you can, generally speaking, unless you want to stay at greens for profit.
  8. You CAN burst Nechs, but that's not a very good idea. Also with any task that can be done as a boss monster, mage is viable. DKS for dagannoth, for example.
  9. Adamant is ~7 while mithril is ~4
  10. Roughly 5-10 minutes. I know by the time I fill up 2-4 inventories on a different rock, it's respawned.
  11. That whole section of the guide deserves a remake, imo.
  12. Waterfiends are certainly not the fastest. You can maybe get 100 or so per hour, which is generous. You can gather that much on Waterbirth in, what?, 4-5 minutes?
  13. You can buy Yak-hide from the "hidden" store in Jatizso. Talk to that lady in the dining hall. Iron Titans are worth it to make. They seem expensive at first, but when you look at their gp/xp, they're actually one of the cheaper familiars to make. Can't say much about the Rabbits though, sorry.
  14. You mean as their signature? If so, look here: http://www.tip.it/runescape/?dynamic Follow the on-screen instructions. Tip.It is not the only site that provides such a service. Many other sites do as well, Google "Runescape Stat Sigs" or "Runescape Dynamic Sigs" and I'm sure you'll find yourself with plenty of options.
  15. There isn't 1 definite answer, since slayer is SO diverse. You could buy bandos and wreck tasks like Scarabites, but would that be so useful at Mutated Bloodvelds, where you need to constantly pray melee? You could buy a whip and have smooth sailing through most tasks, but would that be so useful at Waterfiends, where you need to use crush to be effective? You could buy a Godsword, and deal high damage (if not less effective than the whip), but would that be so useful at Wyverns, where you need to use an elemental, mind, or dragonfire shield? You could buy a Dragonfire shield, and get through most tasks easily, but would that be so useful at Kalphites, where you really don't need the defense? So if money was no issue (but not considering really expensive equipment such as Spirit Shields), the best equipment would be: -Whip -Dragonfire, but also with a Rune defender for locations where the defense isn't need or isn't helpful, and a Zamorak Book for ranging -Fury -Barrows Gloves -Slayer Helm, of course -Zamorak Spear, fastest way to kill metals and Aquanites -Saradomin Sword, fastest way to kill Gargolyes and Waterfiends -Bandos armor, with Prossy for tasks where you must pray -Cannon with cannonballs -Void or Armadyl, for tasks such as Black Demons where you safespot + cannon -Saradomin Godsword, but also a Dragon Dagger or Armadyl Godsword for tasks where you don't need the extra healing -Dragon Boots -Berserker Ring (i), but also Warrior Ring (i) where you need attack more than strength, and Onyx Ring (i) where you need attack more than strength and you aren't using Slash (ex. waterfiends or mithril dragons), also a Seers' (i) for tasks where you range + cannon. Of course, for practicality you could forget the Warrior and Seers (i) and just use a Berserker and Onyx -Unicorn for healing, Elemental Titan when you want healing and fighting, and Steel Titan just for fighting -Karils -Rune crossbow with Broad/or better, bolts -Knives, for range + cannon fire giants -Chinchompas, for Nech tasks. Ice barrage is an alternative, but not a very good one. -Overload Potions, plus Extreme Antifires and Extreme Prayer -Praying piety on all tasks
  16. Waterbirth, get there either with Lyre + Fremmy Boots 3 or Waterbirth tele (lunar spell). You could also get a friend to telegroup you, which is useful if 2, maybe even 3, friends want to do the same thing.
  17. It's true, you can kill hellhounds in f2p. If you are after high hp monsters, the 4th level of the stronghold has plenty. There's rarely anyone there if you stand in the center of the room filled with ghosts, ankou, and skeletons. Although if it's training you're after, Stronghold Spiders (level 3) will give you the best xp in f2p, without a shadow of a doubt. (Unless your defense isn't sufficient to handle their attacks, if so, flesh crawlers would be better.) I manage 45k per hour there, but I'm 99/99.
  18. What do you mean by "simply buying" You can buy pure ess with GoP tokens, 1 token = 1 pure ess.
  19. Between the slayer ring and the glory, I don't think "time between teleports" will take very long at all. Although yeah, I've never tried it, it would have to take ~1 minute-70 seconds to get from the Fairy Ring to finishing crafting in order for it to match abyss.
  20. Talk to Mortifus, of whatever his name is. You know, the guy south of Falador with the 4 elemental mages? The guy who keeps summoning Fungi, ghosts, and such? Gotta pay him 40k though.
  21. Compared to the Elemental Shield, I meant. Wyverns are actually a great monster to kill nowadays. Their visage rate is roughly equal to the KBD and Mithril Dragon's, which are much harder to kill and can be efficiently cannoned, unlike the other 2 (and most other dragons I know of). Since they drop charms in piles of 2, their crimson drop rate is 100% (that is to say, you will get an average of 1 crimson CHARM per wyvern). In addition, their bones fetch about 3k each and are an ingredent for one of the new herblore potions, I believe. Add the fact that many slayers opt to do wyvern tasks.

    Auto-Retaliate

Can you confirm that the reason you didn't retaliate was because you were following someone? That is to say, are you sure there isn't another factor that prevented you from attacking back?
  23. And fire/astral runes. But yeah, if you're not sure, use the abyss. And combo runes  I've actually been told that with the high enough agility + slayer rings, the method described by Bladewing is faster. But I cannot confirm this. Your best bet is to do 5-10 trial runs, time yourself, then compare. The average abyss run takes ~85 seconds.
  24. You should run some calculations. Depending on prices, simply buying pure essence might be better than making those laws.
  25. Really? Well in any case the Mind shield is better since its overall defenses are superior.
