I'm pretty sure the Mind shield and Dragonfire shield are your ONLY options, unless you want to get hit with the ice breath for hard damage.
-
Battlestaves, IF you manage to buy them. Keep an eye on most rune/addy items as well. They tend to profit at times.

No problem, glad to help.

Just go through the abyss into the Death Rift, then leave via portal.

I'm almost always at 9999 lol.

You could use an enchanted MA ring instead of an Archer's Ring.

2 "a"s, no 2 "p"s. Zaaps, not Zapps. Minor though, doesn't matter much to me.

Yes, it should be gotten. It is useful to have, since in some locations you need both an axe and pick and the 1 space might be useful. It is good to have for "completion" and such. It is also good to have in case Jagex releases a future update that gives it a better use. However, I am saying that it isn't WORTH getting. If you are going out of your way to get the Adze, then you shouldn't get it. If you have to do something you don't like, or normally wouldn't, to get the Adze, then you should not go for it. It, after all, provides no real benefits over the d hatchet-and is in fact inferior.

Probably come up with an issue with ticks. As if you planted the tree and a tick came immediately after, kinda like when weeds appear instantly after you harvest. Is very annoying, but at least it's only with willows.

Solution to Priffdinias: Elven Rock Concert

I could argue against that still, but it depends on how many teaks the adze burns per hour. If the Sawmill is ~10-15k faster than the fast speed of teaks (eg, employing fast-dropping techniques, which I really don't think any human being can do all the way to 99 wc, but w/e), then you'd need to get ~20-30k fm xp from Teaks to make it better. But even then, you'd be employing fast-dropping techniques for the ENTIRE duration. If you instead used mousekeys (w/o fast-dropping, so 60k per hour compared to 80k), the difference is even bigger, maybe at around 70k fm xp/hour as the critical point.

It is not worth it no matter who you are. I think I will be the first here to say this. What, may I ask, are the benefits of the Adze? -Is a Dragon Hatchet that's "free" -Burns logs as you cut them if you are cutting a tree -Doubles as a pickaxe Ok, it's a free d hatchet. But the d axe is already free. This is because you can SELL IT BACK. If you buy something then sell it back for more or less the same price, is that not free? It does burn logs, which would be INSANELY useful while training woodcutting...before the ivy and sawmill update. Now, its effect is useless at ivy and you don't even NEED an axe at the sawmill, which are the two fastest ways to train woodcutting. Sure, you can use it as a pickaxe. So what? Is that worth getting to 92 firemaking then doing that minigame? Why can you not simply bring a rune pickaxe with you? In fact, the adze is actually WORSE than the d axe/rune pick. This is because it lacks the combat bonuses of the D axe, which are EXTREMELY useful while killing the Jade Vine. Would you want to kill a level 167 monster with 250 hitpoints using a rune axe? Didn't think so. Let us not forget that it is impractical to cut yews, mages, or any of the higher leveled trees - unless you plan to burn those logs anyway. So essentially, you are RESTRICTING your freedom by using the adze. By getting the adze, you are stating: "I am using an axe that gives no benefit over the dragon axe, which is many times easier to get, and I am using an axe that limits my freedom to cut what I please, when I please". Yeah sure, you could use it for the abyss. But honestly? It's the inferior option there too. The agility and mining shortcuts are ALWAYS closest to the teleport landing. You never NEED the woodcutting use of the adze, since if you do you will be wasting time. In addition, all axes and pickaxes work the SAME in the abyss. Adze weighs 2kg while the mithril pick weighs 1kg. So essentially you are gaining "dead weight" while gaining no benefit. Therefore, unless you are getting it for "prestige" or "looks", do not bother. It does you no good and it is actually inferior to the d hatchet.

I believe there is a Rocktail guide on the General Guides forum. Look there. However, I will say that from my experience MINING in the Living Rock Caverns (with a Lava Titan vs. Tortoise), the level boost is better. But remember, the Lava Titan gives something like 3-4x the boost of the Ibis.
-
Of course use a familiar! Ibis or Beast of Burden, but only Ibis at Monkfish. If you get up to Granite Lobsters, use those in place of the Ibis.

One of my neighbors hands out bottles (yes, 2.5 liter bottles) of soda, so ima go there a few times

Pots all always worth using. Use them. They ARE worth it. If you can handle high-difficulty monsters, cannon scarabites. The xp isn't fantastic, but you get a LOT of crimson charms. They're the rock lobsters of ranged. Otherwise, you could cannon ice trolls for profit, or cannon yaks for xp.
-
How much money can you spend? Can you cannon? Can you use iron knives? Bronze knives? Black knives? Broad bolts? Black bolts? Can you afford to tank? Can you afford more expensive gear? Can you maintain constant use of potions? In other words, how much are you willing to spend?

A simple suggestion: when a new post in made in a thread, have that thread bumped to the top of the list in "View your posts". The old forum had this, and it made looking at what threads had new posts easier. Say I post in a bunch of threads, if someone replies to one of the older threads, I probably won't see it, since it is buried under everything else. But if it were bumped, it would be at the top. I'm not sure of the technical restrictions, but I'm only suggestion that this should be done. Would make all of our lives much easier, especially the people who frequently post. It wouldn't be fair to "punish" people for posting, right?

I was averaging 40-45k xp/hr at concentrated gold + 300k-350k profit per hour. This makes concentrated gold better than granite if you make more than 1.2m per hour (if you do not employ any fast-dropping techniques) and 800k (if you do).

Polar bears seem to have a set amount of locations, which rotate in a predictable order. Rellekka Falador, at chain mail shop North Ardougne Farm Musa Point near the bar Rimmington Varrock east well, south of tea stall If this is correct, then it is safe to say the bear will be at Musa Point next week.

This. They are an item, so they share properties all other items share.

Sorry for not replying. The new forum had this guide buried in my third page <_< Anyway to answer your question, you CAN pay farmers to cut down willows, but they willows CANNOT have branches grown. I've personally been able to pay to cut down willows, so I can confirm this. I can also confirm not being able to cut willows, which seems to prove my theory. So if you cannot cut down those willows, use secateurs to get the branches, then try again. If it still does not work, then get it out the old-fashioned way and next time pay the farmer IMMEDIATELY after you check-health.
