  1. It chances of you dying are slim. If you lure in Verac's, you really only need to worry about the Wallasalki (there's only 1) and whatever Lobs attacked you when your prayer was down (usually when you lure the first 3 or 4, and they do 10 damage tops). If you wear a Ring of Life, you can survive fairly consistently. Lastly, when you attack the lobs themselves, you can throw Blood spells at them, healing up to your max hp. It's hard for 1 Wallasalki to bring you down from 80-ish hp all the way to 0 without getting you between 1-9 hp first. It's equally hard for the range dags to do much damage versus Veracs.
  2. Actually, I have this spinning motor in my brother's toys. He never players with it. It belongs to some sort of building set. Point is, it can make a rod spin an its axis. In the building set, there are many pieces you can attach to the rod, which will spin along with it. So what I had in mind wasn't a robot that follows programming, but rather simple machines. I realize that it is very easy to mistake it for macroing, but there are ways around that. Only doing this at 1-2 hour intervals, for example, then doing something else. This would be the case anyway, because farming runs still need to be done. Doing randoms asap and without failure could also work. Doing this in your house would prevent anyone from accidentally reporting you.
  3. But the point of calculating your xp is so you know how far you are into a task, which is useful information.
  4. The Slayer equipment is highly variable. You will need to adjust it according to your tasks.
  5. I bet people are going to make accounts with names they want so they "reserve" that name. Then when the update rolls around, they just sacrifice that name on the useless account and set it to their main.
  6. If I was f2p and made plenty of cash sitting around, I would buy a few rares and lend them out. But I would never pay to borrow it.
  7. This is a great option and I can highly recommend it. But know that it is 180k+ gp per hour, not 100k+. While 100k+ is TECHNICALLY correct, it is misleading.
  8. Both from the official rules of Runescape. I notice, however, that no where on that page or any related rules does it mention 3rd party HARDWARE. Software are usually programs and such contained in your computer's memory, but hardware are appliances that function OUTSIDE of your computer, (Java being software, the mouse being hardware). So would using 3rd party HARDWARE, then, be against the rules? Now you might be thinking, "if you doing this to afk, it is against the rules". So then what if I DON'T leave the computer? What if I stay with it, reading or watching TV, and using hardware to do tedious clicking? For example, what if I have something that can repeatably press the "5" mousekey? It is not an internal program that clicks, but rather an external device that clicks the button, similar to me pressing it myself. Basically, if I have something that can externally press buttons for me (as hardware), AND do not leave my computer (and break the afk rule) would I be breaking any rules? I am mentioning this in case this has been brought up before, or anyone has seen Jagex mention this, or any Player Mod can post this in the Pmod forum. This is more out of curiosity more than anything. I have no idea how I would build anything like this anyway.
  9. That's funny. I would guess that you can assist the crafting level since I know you can assist for Slayer Rings. In both cases, however, you need to learn to make them yourself.
  10. Was there earlier this week, it's the same.
  11. If I read it correctly, the single bot says "What's your level..." and then quickly states its own level. Well, it could still work out. Imagine if you were fishing and someone asks: "Fishing levels?", then he says "Mine's 70", then a bunch of people state their fishing levels after him. It's the same here, if I understand correct. 1 bot says: "What is your level in Woodcutting?" then says "My Woodcutting level is 60", then the others respond and say: "My Woodcutting Level is X". Possible.
  12. Belongs in Questionnaires, imo. Hmm, I honestly don't think I have one.
  13. Pretty smart using QC to "talk" to each other, mimicing conversation.
  14. That I don't get. You're spending a lot more money on chins than ppots, so why would you try to maximize your ppots but not maximize your chins? Your equipment consists of: [*:2iv9felu]Full Armadyl [*:2iv9felu]Fury [*:2iv9felu]Red Chinchompas [*:2iv9felu]Unholy Book [*:2iv9felu]Barrows Gloves [*:2iv9felu]Ranger Boots [*:2iv9felu]Archer (i) Well, I use Void, but I see your point. You have +179 ranged attack, and 13 prayer. The increase from +179 to +183 is barely noticeable (a 2% increase), but the increase from 13 prayer to 17 prayer is noteworthy (a 31% increase).
  15. That's what I meant. If I am 200k slayer xp to level, then get 160 dust devils, that task gives me 16800 xp. So at the end of the task I'll have 183200 xp. I write that in my notes. Let's say sometime during the task I check and see I am 187400 xp to level. After quick calculations, I know I have 40 left to kill.
  16. Gratz!! Can't believe I missed most of it though :x
  17. That I don't get. You're spending a lot more money on chins than ppots, so why would you try to maximize your ppots but not maximize your chins?
  18. It's not dead, but it's really hard to buy all the stuff you need for it. It was good xp, but it was never efficient xp. It was slow and unrewarding for its cost.
  19. SoS is the best xp, and any profit/prayer you can gain from any other monster does not make it better than the SoS. SoS is really your best option unless you can get ice giants all to yourself, which is almost impossible outside of the wilderness location. Look in my guide for more info.

    Smash Club.

Then again, it is Nintendo. Is it uploaded, Gallade?
  21. Skillcapes came out before that guy though. Wasn't really anyone in the game that could've given it to you. We don't have firemaking tutors either. Could've given it to a dwarf, who have a loose association with fire.
  22. Off topic, but you shouldn't need a slayer gem, ring, or combat bracelet to keep track of your kills. As long as you know the HP (and therefore slayer xp per kill) of the monster you are assigned, and how many of them you got in the task, you should be able to calculate the xp you gain during that task. Add that to the xp you already have, and you know how much total xp you will have at the end of the task. Then you can simply use a 4-function calculator any time during the task and find out how many you have left. This is superior to the gem/ring/bracelet because it saves you an inventory space (for ring/gem) or it clears up an equipment slot for better equipment (bracelet, RFD gloves addy+ and regen bracelet are better). In addition, you can check it during combat, which is important. In some locations, such as Nechs and Warped TBs, you are almost always in combat, making checking the gem a huge drag. Also, you can never forget it. Ever leave your gem behind? If you get into the habit of doing this, you never need to worry about it. Sometimes you may forget to equip the bracelet. In addition, you can check it at any time, unlike the bracelet which only tells you every 10 kills. Lastly, it's free, which is always nice. Of course, you would need either a calculator near your computer or use a built-in calculator. The first few times you use it, it might be slower, but once you get used to it, it's the best way out there. By doing this, you will never need to rely on a slayer gem, slayer ring, or combat bracelet again. That means for you, you never need to worry about recharging it again.
  23. It's not faster than alching, but it is a lot cheaper and the smithing xp makes it better than alching.
  24. No since you pray mage on Spiritual Mages.
