Why is an untrimmed hp cape special? All it takes is to fight controlled and do just a tiny bit of range/mage to get a surplus of hp xp.

Well the picture in the opening post was probably stolen from Commander Keen anyways. That's just how it goes. Existing ideas are used in a new context. Nothing wrong with that. It's not that easy to sprout a whole world with hundreds of different monsters existing in it. And about every fantasy game uses orcs nowadays. They're continuously being copied. Though nobody ever complains about that.

Try reloading the game. I've had it a few times on my laptop. In fact, the letters were totally unreadable. Reloading the game fixed that.
