  1. Racist, or you just don't like their attitude? I don't consider myself racist, but people like that annoy me too. Yeah, I don't think their skin color matters much here. I get just as annoyed with white and hispanic ghetto people. But not Asians. 8-)
  2. I can't believe I forgot this. I haven't learned a new trick in a long time, though. It's hard on the internet. Everyone wants to show off, nobody wants to teach. I could've sworn you mentioned it in your post, and that's why I even remembered to mention it. Now that I really think about it, I don't think my fingers are ever at rest. Either I'm cracking my knuckles, playing around with a pen/pencil, clicking a mouse, typing, whacking buttons on a game controller, or playing piano. I'm sure I do some of those in my sleep.
  3. Almost everyone on my mom's side of the family (including me) has had the H. pylori infection sometime in their life. Since we're Taiwanese, it really isn't that surprising. I know it's not exactly a disease, but anger management issues tend to be fairly common on my dad's side. Though they're Cantonese...So nothing surprising there either.
  4. There's also some moon called "Blue Moon" (I think?) that could possibly support life. We watched a video on it last year, with sky whales and things like that. Though coincidentally, the day before, we were using some program in the computer lab, where we designed planets and experimented to see if they could support life. I managed to get one, which I named "Luin Ithil", which happens to mean "Blue Moon." :P (Link to a Wiki article here, I haven't fully read it but it looks like what I'm thinking of) Anyway, I'm going to say anything is possible. The chances of extraterrestrial life are pretty good, though I'd think they'd be more likely to be bacteria than intelligent creatures. (But who knows?)
  5. My fingers don't even work like that. They just randomly turn colors and stiffen/numb no matter what the temperature is. (Only blue/purple/red/yellow so far, haven't seen neon green yet, but I'll keep an eye out) Of course, I probably type too much or something. Though it's rather strange, I type rather fast, yet I often can't even play a trill on a piano due to this. Oh, and my hands (and fingers) tend to be quite dry. And yep, I penspin. Ah, probably overusage or something.
  6. FFXI (sucks though) and Champions Online is coming to consoles as well. Did Funcom give up on AoC for the 360? Not like it would've been good, from what I've heard from you guys.
  7. I'm pretty sure they're the same in quite a few cases, this being one of them.

My math teacher is pretty cool, in that he lets us decide whether or not to do our homework. If we think it's useless and doesn't help, then no, we don't have to. And it works too. If it actually does help, and we don't do it, then we're punished when it comes to the test, and we get low grades. Most of the homework I get is like that. If I do it, I do better on tests/quizzes. If I don't do it, then I fail. Doing it is its own reward, to be honest.
  9. I would have assumed that the Romans would have wondered what was even further east than their lands, and eventually found the Chinese. Wikipedia has a decent article on it here. Anyway. Back on topic...
  10. Well this doesn't remind me of that annoying "25 THINGS ABOUT YOURSELF" thing on Facebook... Five, I can do. I guess. 1. No one in my direct family carries a Chinese passport, and I would classify myself as Taiwanese. 2. I have strange music tastes, the top four artists on my Last.fm are all from different genres. 3. I have no idea what I'm doing with life, though I would go solo if it was easier in modern times. 4. I have three heroes, I guess you could call them. (Role models?) Confucius, Tolkien and a friend of mine no one here knows. 5. My IQ is most likely higher than my weight [in pounds, definitely in kg]. Before you go apemonkey and start claiming that I think my IQ is 180 or something like that, figure out my weight first.
  11. I'm going to go out on a limb/be controversial and say Christian.
  12. And how about my Chinese church? There's no way we depict him as some Asian dude who looks like Confucius. (That's how you spell it, for the record) I think I read somewhere that the Romans actually did know something about China. Of course that doesn't mean Jesus was Chinese (not like you guys are serious), but it...could...be...possible?
  13. Purple. Probably looked like a normal guy from the area.
  14. ...the word "beat" being pronounced "bait" 'HAHA I BAIT YOU' While we're on this topic, I get annoyed by people who use "ganna" rather than "gonna." And even "gonna" annoys me a bit, "going to" barely takes any longer to type. Unless you type at like 14 wpm. (...Basically, if you don't talk/write/type like I do, you suck)
  15. People who like to say "You times it by.." instead of "You multiply it by..." "X times Y" is OK. Yea, he's got it right. 6 times 100 is good, in fact it's better than 6 multiplied by 100. But saying "you find the percent by timesing [yes, people say timesing] the quotient by 100" is ridiculous. Okay, that's what I thought. Still love you, then. ;) I've been known to say "sine" as "see-nay". Whoops. Too much Latin.
  16. On the topic of conscription - I'm against it unless something really, really calls for a draft, but otherwise, no. However, having some sort of mandatory military training in high school, and perhaps college/uni, would be fine with me, as that's the case in Taiwan, I think. (Though males also have to go through further training at the age of 18, which I don't support) Anyway, as long as a household has someone to stay behind to take care of any people who need it, I suppose women ought to be obligated to join the draft. Though like I said, I'd almost always be against such a draft in the first place.

There are emos, and then there are actually depressed people. Emos generally are somewhat rich suburban kids who act like their lives suck, though it really isn't that bad. They usually wear black, cut their wrists, all that stuff you hear about. Actually depressed people are well...Actually depressed people.
  18. Wait, Lenin, clarify a bit... Would "x times a hundred" be fine? That doesn't annoy me. But stuff like your example - Yes, oh yes. I'd prefer whacking them with my socks and then ripping their faces off though.
  19. Oh, God, I love you. I also hate when people put "more" in front of an adjective, rather than stick "-er" at the end, at least when you're supposed to. I know there are exceptions where more is actually the right thing to use, but hearing "more cool" or "more smart" just gets on my nerves.

Ours is always in April. Though you silly southerners start school in August and end in May, or something like that.

Heh, yeah. I just realized 12/21/2012 is the day before my friend's 21st birthday. Guess he'll never legally drink beer. :P To make things even worse (scheduling), apparently there's a chance that the amount of blocks per week will be lowered from 28 to 26. I...don't get this...That would absolutely [bleep] anyone who takes two languages, which is a ton of people. (Math/science/history/English/language1/language2 are all four blocks, PE is two blocks, so that makes 26...You also need 5 "fine arts" credits to graduate, which will be impossible if it really will be changed...) Also, most courses which have less than 20 people taking them will be cut. That's like every tech-related class. :wall: I don't know what my superintendent is thinking. :?
  22. I'm still not quite sure how to hold the N64 controller. I don't remember how I did when I was a kid. But yes, keyboard (and mouse, if needed) is best. :

Learning. Thinking. Good friends. My computer and the stuff I do with it. Nature. Silence.

You'll die before you graduate. O: Nope, we'll be the last class to graduate. We're that awesome. Today was course registration day. I actually decided what I was taking this morning...Only to find out because of [bleep]ing budget cuts, I probably can't take a few of them...Why, oh why, did we have to waste hundreds of millions of dollars on a new building? It seems as if everything gets destroyed a year or two before I actually get there. Like some of the APs were taken out, and they just so happened to be the ones I had planned to take. :|
