Un-Reliable Wikipedia?
I mainly use Wiki to for random facts, or if I just want to know something. If I'm doing work for school...Depends. I've had teachers who actually encouraged Wiki, and then there are those who completely oppose it. I don't think I would ever use Wiki as a source, but rather the citations at the bottom. If you do use Wiki as a source though, it wouldn't hurt to just double-check whatever you're looking for. Of course, you might as well use the second site...

Catholic Church says Evolutionism is Compatible with Bible.
Hm, I remember posting something like "God could've caused evolution to happen, and thus evolution and Christianity/religion could co-exist", and getting flamed for it... :? At least I think I did. Whatever. I know I've said "Science and faith can co-exist, they can both be true. There is nothing in the Bible that says 'SCIENCE IS RUBBISH@@@@@@' and there is no scientific theory that states 'Religion/the Bible is wrong.'" You just have to use your imagination, and perhaps not take EVERYTHING so literally. ...Yeah.

Arrr it be International Speak like a Pirate Day!
How about a Speak like a Ninja Day? That'd work...Brilliantly. Anyway, what a ko-inky-dink, yesterday my friend and I were speaking like pirates for no reason.

Today...
Hrmf, a there was a small fire (I suspect a radiator blew up, that happens a lot here...) in a science room at my school, we got evacuated for like half an hour. Some of my friends had lunch, and I had Tech...And we had to go back. Oh well. We get bomb threats and these small fires all the time, so not that special.

Questionable Items in Your Possession
My sister. Nah, I have like two chocolate eggs in the fridge from over 2 years ago...I guess that counts. I also have a wooden stick that all my friends signed, I like to pretend it's a short sword/long dagger. :) On the topic of weapons, I have a few model ones, I think I still have a sword from my Chinese school martial arts class. And there's the longbow I built out of K'nex pieces and rubber bands. Works pretty well actually. I have two Gamecubes for no apparent reason, they both work.

Star Wars - The Force Unleashed
Well, I know the Wii controls sound/look better than the normal button mashing. (From what I've heard) Basically take the Twilight Princess controls, except make it PvP. Replacing the sword with a lightsaber and whatnot, of course. I don't know about gameplay, I'd assume it's basically the same though. I might get it, I might not...I don't think it'll be a must-have, but it'll probably be up there.

CLEAN Funny Picture Thread ~new rules, read first post~
Love it. Just wondering, do you (Or anyone else) have the link to the site with all the LotR GIFs? I can't seem to find them, neither on my HD nor online. Other than the good ol' "One does not simply walk into Mortor..."

Things that cause you to question
I was going to bring something like that up. There is no going back. What's done is done. And everything you do has some impact on the world. The butterfly effect comes to mind, and though a choice you make might seem minor, it could somehow have a huge effect on the world...Eventually. Of course, bring time travel into the formula. Which reminds me of the conversation I had today in physics...I have no idea how it started, but we got on the topic of whether or not time travel would ever be possible...And then this kid started talking about some theory that was kind of paradoxical yet made total sense. Everyone was just like "wtf", physics is awesome...

Minor Annoyances
when people say they hate me before i say i hate them first. People who can't take jokes. Happy?
-
Minor Annoyances
Sounds like most of you would hate me then (If you knew me in real life). For one thing or another... I'd probably hate you too. :
-
Minor Annoyances
Basically everything annoys me, and I've decided that I have no idea what normal people are like, so I can't tell you what...Special things annoy me. The thing that jumps into my mind is when someone scratches Styrofoam. Urgggggh. It sounds (HAHAHAH PUNNY) like it's something a lot of people get annoyed by though.

Smash Club.
OH NO YOU DIDN'T! I'm tired of people bashing things they barely know anything about. There was a thread about "why Brawl is so good" a while ago, and nearly everyone had to agree that Brawl is a good game, even people who generally don't like Nintendo. And those who didn't like Brawl liked Melee (I have a specific one or two members in mind here...). I hate school. -.-

21 Upcoming Wii Games to Drool Over
You guys actually think Shadow would put Wii Music up there? Some of those games actually sound pretty good though.

Smash Club.
I think if you set all but one to the lowest, only that one will play. Not sure. But you can't have it so the Zelda theme plays on Final Destination. :| I tried downloading the songs, but when I clicked download it would just open in a new tab, with Quicktime. Off thebrawl.net, that is.

My past 6 months. *lots of pics, not for 56k*
WELCOME BACK PHIL! (...Wonders if you even know who I am. Probably not. But I know you. : ) Has it really been 6 months already? Wow. It sounded like an amazing trip back then, and from looking at those pictures, it looks like it was an amazing trip. My dad's side of the family (Including my dad) is from Hong Kong, it's a pity I've never been there. Anyway, too bad you didn't stop by Taiwan. :P You have some incredible pictures, and I love looking at landscape...Especially mountains, for some reason. Anyway, what did you do in Boston? Just wondering, as I want to know what tourists exactly do when they're here. Glad to know you had a great trip, I'd love to do something like that one day, or at least go to some of those places. (Outside of the US, the only one I've been to is Singapore...When I was 2... :? )

9/11 7 years later
I normally disagree with Jack, but this time, I'm going to have to agree. Did we, the people, declare this war? No. It was the government. Did the government create that video? Are they on this forum? I don't think so. I hope not. That video has absolutely nothing to do with the war, other than the fact that they're both related to 9/11. The video didn't even mention the war, I'm pretty sure. Memorials honor the dead. Are all the memorials in this world stupid? Should we destroy them all, as they mean we're not moving on? If you can't simply honor a few thousand dead people by keeping your mouth shut, I pity you. Godofjoy, how is he spamming? The video is related to 9/11, the topic. The Celtics have absolutely nothing to do with 9/11, other than the fact that they play in Boston and two of the planes took off from Boston. Which is stretching it.

Smash Club.
I like the Ocarina of Time Medley. I mean, it's from one of the greatest games of all time. Not to mention I have a thing for flute/tin whistle/ocarina solos. Even though he sucks, Ike's Theme (Hurricane?) is also pretty cool. And the main Fire Emblem one, basically the same as from Melee. Attack, too. ...And Hidden Mountain and Forest. Or whatever.

I knew it all along, Ganondorf is top tier!

Your favorite website? and the one you find the most stupid
That was the Rickroll before Rickroll? The three sites that open up when I launch Chrome are probably my favorite...Gmail, Facebook and TIF (OT). And I use CNN for my online news. ...Yea.

Do you like to doodle?
Huh, strange, I don't really doodle at all... I have no artistic talent, period. Perhaps that's it. Though...In the past, I've drawn stick figure armies. Last year alone, I drew some ten thousand units. Maybe I'll have an army worthy of Mordor by the time I graduate. :twss:

9/11 7 years later
Range_This said it pretty nicely, in my previous post I was mainly referring to people who live in the middle of nowhere, and don't know anyone who was really, really effected by it. In NYC and DC, I understand if people have ceremonies and stuff, likewise with families and friends of the victims. You can't expect those people to just forget, to get past it. But most of us, who probably can't even name a few people who died that day, and was nowhere near where anything happened, we can.

Smash Club.
*Confused* Though you reminded me of the time I was playing as Ganondorf. A smash ball appeared, the other three guys were chasing after it. I screwed it, I knew Ganon has no chance. So I decided to just try to kill the other players while they were distracted. So they were all chasing after the ball, and I warlock punched. Killed all three. With the stage clear, I easily got the smash ball, then once they spawned (And the invincibility worn off) I used it...Another three kills. Easiest 6 kills ever. :P

9/11 7 years later
No one mentioned it at school, nothing special happened (Today, that is). I knew it was 9/11, don't know if other people even knew. But anyway, it really is time to let go and move on. Tragedies will be remember, 9/11 is a tragedy, but I've heard (and agree) that the terrorists' main objective was to strike fear into our hearts and make us grieve. To me, 7 years is way too long to grieve and mourn. Though it was an extremely sad event, one of the saddest of the 21st century so far, you must let go at one point or another. What, in 10 years, will there be threads on forums about the 17th anniversary of 9/11? :| Anyway, I barely remember that day, I was in 2nd grade. (I could've sworn I was in first, but whatever) I remember my sister (Who was in 5th grade) got a letter from the principal, and she handed it to my mom when she came to pick us up. Other than that, I think a friend of mine was in DC that day, and one was in NYC. I was at the WTC only the previous summer (I think), I have a few pictures. When I was in New York last summer, I went to Ground Zero, putting aside what I said earlier, it was really, really, sad. :( I watched United 93 the other day, it was really sad. So RIP to all victims of 9/11, condolences to their families, but just keep in mind that much, much worse has happened.

Stress Relief?
Video games or music. Video games, well, if you can't be violent in real life and blow things up, might as well do that virtually. Really though, video games are distracting. As for music, sure, I listen to music sometimes when I'm stressed, but I also meant playing music. Piano, music from the Lord of the Rings. (Classical doesn't help at all, I'd probably find it too hard and get pissed even more) But yea, I just whack my piano until I'm content

I just beat boss battles on very hard. Now...For intense! : Oh, and last week, my friend and I beat boss battles on easy (Co-op) in just over a minute. It seriously took us less than a second to beat Crazy Hand...
