  1. You're making it sound as though the first Blair Witch wasn't a good horror movie. A few horror movie-buff buddies saw Paranormal Activity and say it's one of the scariest movies they've seen. It's the fact that it's so realistic that makes it scary. The movie plays on stuff everyone can relate to: thinking you see something that isn't really there, waking up to strange noises, not being able to sleep, etc. The camework and acting is supposed to be excellent too. I've heard split opinions on the ending though, some people think it's cheesy while others love it. A review: I would love to see this movie but since I can't even play through Doom 3 or Bioshock because they make me uncomfortable, it would probably be a very bad idea.

What do you mean now? Havent you always wondered? Naw, I don't really care what people look like. I'm only wondering because you pulled an all nighter (which generally makes people look heinous.) Heh, I got maybe 45 mins of sleep before doing my driver's theory test a few weeks ago. Before you do the test you're told to go into a photo booth and take a picture which is gonna be on your driver's license for the next 10 years. Couldn't have picked a worse day to have sleep problems on. Luckily I don't look too bad on it - coffee and fruit really helps.
  3. For all intents and purposes, the problem is likely to stem from people thinking more in "spoken language" than whether what they're typing actually makes sense - maybe it would have had the same effect on me if I were a native English speaker. Regardless, the topic does peak my interest. I think I fixed most of it. Fixed more of it. I think "pique" works better than "peak" in that context, but other than that bravo. edit: Actually, "bravo" is too flattering, since you basically proved you have the grammar skills of a 9 year old. A slight but firm kudos will do.

  5. Conversely, "your" wasn't the word you were looking for either.

  7. For all intensive purposes, the problem is likely to steam from people thinking more in "spoken language" then weather what their typing actually makes sence - maybe it would of had the same affect on me if I were a native english speaker. Irregardless, the topic does peak my interest.

  9. I try to get between 5-6 hours of sleep during the weekdays. My classes don't have a set schedule, so it varies when I have to get up, hence I don't have a specific "bed time".

  11. I saw Dead Snow (or Død Snø in Norwegian) yesterday. A very entertaining zombie-nazi splatter movie. The zombies looked surprisingly realistic. [hide=trailer][yt]GkC7HiAlAeE[/yt][/hide]

  14. I'm probably a bit too forgiving and argumentative. At least they complement each other pretty well.

  20. [hide=Airwolf][yt]LwEqEukE81g[/yt] A great intro. In my opinion the best TV show from the 80's. That and A-Team.[/hide] [hide=Dallas][yt]Ffo2Oqt8bIM[/yt] I remember the only reason I watched this as a kid was because of the intro. I was maybe 3 or 4 and couldn't understand English or read at all.[/hide] [hide=True Blood][yt]Wet5OM7RR8Q[/yt] Although a terrible TV series it has a fantastic intro. Both the song and the video.[/hide]

Saw Mr. Big last Monday. Not a fan of their music but it was great to see Billy Sheehan and Paul Gilbert play together - they're absolutely insane. I took a bunch of photos but I'm too lazy to post them here unless someone really wants to see them and can direct me to a good batch-upload site.

  23. http://www.newyorker.com/reporting/2009 ... fact_grann Welp, there we go. Texas executed a legally innocent man.
