  1. Do not get the appeal of this show at all. Barney seems to be the only character that makes this show a comedy, otherwise it'd just be a [cabbage]ty drama with a bunch of boring unrelatable personas - basically 7th Heaven in New York, sans the religious stuff. It's even worse than 2 ½ Men which is another relatively new show that's garnered a lot of of praise for some reason. I guess shows equal comedy as soon as there's a "main wacky guy" who's funny because he shows a poor attitude towards women. I don't get it.
  2. I already know mine: MAX Hamburgers. It's cheaper than Burger King, they prepare the food as you order it (so you don't get a sweaty cheeseburger that's been laying around for hours), their dip sauces actually taste like they should taste: the bearnaise is delicious. Everything about the food is just fresh. Also, they're very environmentally aware, they've won awards and stuff. Plus I quite like their interior design! Nothing better than a Frisco meal when you've forgot your lunch at home.
  3. Don't forget bloating up their cheeks. Also, I find it pretty annoying how some people act completely emotional online and constantly post stuff like "Don't leave me forever" etc. as if their life was a drama series. Those stuff never happen in real life, it's not cool neither.. I believe this is relevant: http://antiduckface.com/ Ah yes, screw people acting silly and joking around when photographed! I am so angry I am literally making a website about it with hilarious and original captions. Also note that while I am making fun of peoples' appearances there are no photos of me anywhere on the site. Meta. As. Hell.
  4. Mostly just the obligatory childhood friends that I didn't have anything in common with anymore when we developed other interests besides playing with action figures. But I've lost a couple of really good ones due to either nightmarish girlfriends, or the most recent one because he really can't handle his alcohol and did a lot of very dumb [cabbage]. Slowly getting back together with one of the "nightmarish girlfriend" types though, but it's not that easy because she's not very keen on letting him wander more than 100m away from her.

  6. It was kind of cool seeing usernames I haven't seen in years, a lot of those people were regular posters back then. Also, holy crap 2005 was five years ago, that is crazy. I guess it's officially five years since I played runescape also. Yeah kind of cool. DId anyone other then me post in this thread back in '05 that is still posting here regularly? e: noticed Azvareth, not sure about the others. Danabis and Lionheart still posts. I think the former goes by another name now though.
  7. The only member with any talent, and so young too. Always very sad. Haha, "natural causes" being years of heavy cocaine abuse and debauchery.

Saw this today with some friends. Was fantastic visually, but a bit cheesy.
  9. Hit me up on Steam if you wanna murder some zombies later. I haven't played in forever though.
  10. So you think she's good, but you won't listen to her just because she belongs to a certain genre? Also there's nothing bad about auto-tune. Nice namedrop though, champ.
  11. The Orange Pack for 15eur on the Steam Holiday Sales today. Now you can shut off your xboxes and play TF2 the way it's meant to be played.
  12. Just a heads-up, today's Steam Holiday Sale has -75% off Killing Floor ($5.99). So for those who haven't picked this up yet and like co-op FPS games, this is a steal. They've apparently added new weapons, perks, maps and fixed most of the bugs since my last post as well. And they seem to continuously release new patches for the game. http://store.steampo...d.com/app/1250/
  13. Costs like 7 bucks on Steam right now.

Oops, I bought the Eidos package and Torchlight as well.
  15. Unless you're level 68 or want the Inscription profession there's no reason why you should get the expansion yet. EDIT: also, thanks DarkDude, it works perfectly. Even updating my addons via the Curse client works.
  16. Things like these always end well. EDIT: note, I am in neither of the cams.

If I had a choice, I would choose to drink much better beer, but unfortunately all that is provided is crappy "light" beer. It's more about quantity than quality. You'd understand if you've ever had a Natural Light. Yeah, I can't imagine playing a drinking game with Twisted Thistle ale or something with actual taste. Chugging down pint after pint - ughh, it'd be horrible.

Ah! This is why most American beer tastes like water.
  19. Upgrading to Windows 7 ruined my other installation of WoW, and now I can't completely delete all files in that folder for some reason. Does anyone know if installing WoW at another location than the "usual one" will cause any problems - like, with patching and such?

Damnit I love Steam. Currently have GTA IV, Braid and Trine in my cart. Do you guys have any other recommendations? EDIT: Bought GTA IV, Braid, Trine, Chronicles of Rid[bleep]: Assault on Dark Athena, Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy and World of Goo.
  21. If you own a castle you can put him in a garrison and either keep him there forever (they usually escape after a while however, unless you've upgraded the garrison), or keep him there and wait until someone offers to buy him back. They usually offer a pretty large sum of money, so this is the best way to make money in the game.

Coheed & Cambria has to be one of the most boring bands I've seen. Granted I'm not a big fan to begin with, but all the members basically stood in the same spot the entire time, played through the setlist and then immediately went off the stage. I think the singer might have said a quick "thanks" once or something. When playing the biggest stage on a festival in front of 30,000+ people, one would come to expect a little more energy from the band. They did do a very nice cover of The Trooper though!
  23. My friends' goddamn apartment.

I've started listening to Justice a bit lately and hooooooooooly [cabbage] some of it is really amazing. I haven't grown used to most of their music, but songs like DVNO, Phantom and Genesis are superb. Also, does anyone else listen to The Kilimanjaro Darkjazz Ensemble?
