Nerdgasm! I trust Bioware will do something awesome, but I really hope the combat system is different than in the NWN and KoTOR games, i.e. you stack up a bunch of attacks and then just sit back and watch your character flip around like a monkey. It really kills the immersiveness for me.

School, through other friends, festivals, pubs, on my way home from the pub. I've been told one particular pub story is quite amusing. I was sitting with a group of friends (actually friends of a friend) at this rock pub we almost always go to, it was almost closing time so I was quite plastered. I noticed a guy whom I recognised, standing beside the table in front of ours. Turns out it was my old music teacher from high school. So I got up and went and said hello, and he recognised me immediately. We started talking about music and guitars etc. Then this drunk-as-a-skunk dude beside us stared at me for a while and then yelled, "Malcolm Young!!", I proceeded to basically tell him that AC/DC is to rock music what "Lite" is to beer. He got up, rolled up his sleeve and showed me this big AC/DC tattoo on his arm. I figured he would beat the crap out of me now (he's a few years older than me and pretty muscular). Instead he just laughed and asked me what bands I liked, and when I told him he proceeded to laugh at me for a few minutes solid, saying I'm in the wrong century. Then the pub closed so I followed his group to go grab something to eat. And we pretty much ended up bashing eachothers' musical tastes for an hour or two. I exchanged numbers with some of them and they paid for my taxi home (we were going the same way). That was month's ago and we're pretty good friends now. Anders (the AC/DC fanatic) has fixed me some free tickets to concerts and stuff (and a festival I ended up not going to), so it's pretty sweet. :P I've told this story so many times to his friends now, because Anders didn't remember much from it afterwards. He was certain one of his friends had sent me to go harass him at the pub.

Nobody said anything about removing it. In the 6 years I've been here, the "caught me" thread has been the worst thing to come out of OT. Not even all the feminist, abortion and Coke vs. Pepsi threads combined comes close to the amount of - to put it delicately - terrible and immature posts there. It was [bleep]ing abhorrent. So yeah, I'm liking this. @Mage_Man0103: As someone mentioned before, the mods have tried to make a thread like that work for years, but each time people have just started posting pics not suitable for this forum. I'm guessing it simply takes too much time to moderate it than it's worth. And it wasn't really a "funny pictures" thread as much as it was a "post your [cabbage]ty motivational poster and lolcat pic LOL".

I just found out some old friends I went to school with a long time ago have started a band of sorts, and I just got a message from one of them asking me to come jam with them when I can. So I'm kinda excited about that. Also looking forward to the weekend and to start work next week. I'm pretty hungry as well.

Trailer What do you think? I myself am pleasantly surprised. I didn't think Wahlberg could pull off Payne's voice but he sounds pretty gritty in the trailer. Not sure if Mila Kunis is right for the part as Mona Sax though -- she was all about class and maturity, whereas... Mila Kunis plays Meg Griffin. Yeah. Still, can't wait for this movie.

Thinking my life is pretty damn sweet. Just signed the contracts to work as a moderator for an MMO game. Pays excellent, I get to work from home, can choose whenever I want to work, my "colleagues" are fantastic, and I can still go to school and have a social life. And best of all, I get to lay the ban-hammer on pedophiles and idiot kids.

In one life, right? Before I messed up my stats getting to Milestone 3, it was 72 with the medic. I play on my clan's servers otherwise, usually on the 24/7 2fort one, and a game can literally last forever. Think I've gotten a bit over 400 points or so in one session before it got boring.
