I see people from UKCS on our clan servers all the time. Do you have any server that rotates all maps? Been looking for a decent one of those.

Because most metal fans are nerds.

Tbh BC Rich's may look hella cool but they suck for playing. Much better to get a Gibson or Dean. well it depends. the gold series+ are very good. there was this kid at a school i was doing a sound tech job for who was playing cliffs of dover on a bc rich....you would think the kid wrote the song tbh Could drive cattle through the gap in that logic, I could. You're saying that what makes a guitar good is not how it feels and sounds, but by the number of advanced songs you can play on it. Okay. I could play Cliffs of Dover on a wooden plank with strings attached, does that make it a good guitar? If, by your logic it does -- well, have I got some hot deals for you, good sir. I can't help but associate B.C Rich guitars with kids that's just started playing and want the "coolest" looking guitar in the store, for the least amount of money (and quality). Ugh, warlocks. Mockingbirds are alright though. EDIT: why's everyone constantly up in arms about Gibsons. They are overpriced pieces of wood that generally is not proportional to their quality (they are sloppily made and break easily).

I'm in love with this drummer. Goddamn.

I've always had a soft spot for the JEM series, even though I think they look pretty tacky (Steve Vai must be proud). There's just something about them that I like. Have you tried playing it, if so, how does it play?

[hide=Guitars] Ibanez SZ320 with a Seymour Duncan Dimebucker in the bridge. Dean '79F ML and Yamaha FG720S[/hide] For pedals I have: Korg Toneworks AX1500G multi-effect, a Dunlop Crybaby Wah-Wah and a Digitech Metal Master. I plan on buying an MXR Zakk Wylde OD pedal and a better multi-effect one soon. My amp is a [cabbage]ty Line 6 Spider II 30w. I will purchase a Marshall DSL401 at the end of this month though. For strings I use D'Addarios. 010s on my Ibanez and 009s on my Dean, but I think I'm gonna switch up to 010s on that one too. The plectrums I use are Dunlops (the croc ones), there simply aren't any better ones as far as I'm concerned. Thickness depend on what song/music I play, but I use either .96mms or .71mms. I'm seriously considering buying this one later: A Dean Michael Schenker Standard. Not anything special spec-wise, but it's a stunning guitar and I'm a big fan of (early) Michael Schenker. I'd mainly use it for live gigs.

You didn't even bother skimming through the first page.

Aftonbladet has the journalistic value of a dead monkey. You have so many good choices of news in Swedish there, like Dagens Nyheter, and you choose aftonbladet? Seriously. (Aftonbladet, for those who don't know, is a city tabloid that exaggerates everything in 150 pt text on the front.) Haha I know. Honestly I really don't like their journalism either. The reason I usually go there is because they generally have more news than expressen.se and dn.se (dagens nyheter) and I think their layout is more accessible (although flooded with flash ads...). I don't know. This is common though, everybody in my family despise aftonbladet, most of my friends do too, but they still use that site for their news updates. We all know it is terrible journalism. I happen to like the fact that they blow everything up though, it's like news and comedy all in one. A lot of their headlines are so ridiculous you just have to laugh ("dödsknark!"). As you might notice I'm not all that concerned when it comes to the news. As long as I have a somewhat good grip on what's going on in the world I'm happy.

It's got a robot, an evil penguin and loads of games stuff. What more could you want? A creator who isn't a pedophile. Also, humour. Mine would be: google.se tyda.se (swe-eng/eng-swe dictionary where users can submit words and definitions themselves - it's quite handy and nobody seems to abuse it) wikipedia.org aftonbladet.se (news site) somethingawful.com last.fm (found this one quite useful as of late) thomann.de (instrument dealer) ultimate-guitar (for reviews and news) youtube.com (ever since our NAS crashed I've mostly used this site to listen to music) tip.it/forum I usually have these up at any given time.

Recommend an artist/band to the poster above you

@cheese666me: Hmm, not your cup of tea perhaps since it's not especially "raw", but have you tried Enslavement of Beauty (try the album Dainty Delusive Dolls)? Earlier stuff from At The Gates is supposed to be good as well, but I haven't listened to it. Also throwin' in some other DM/BM bands I haven't really given a thorough listen but have heard good things about: Pain of Salvation, Primordial, Satyricon, Testament, Carcass. Also some more traditional metal: Accept, Killer (their early stuff is very reminiscent to Motörhead; the newer stuff is more melodic with keyboards), Megadeth (older stuff), Overkill, Saxon, Anthrax, Savatage, Masterplan, Hellfueled, Victory. Gotta try Black Label Society as well. Last.fm -
Always been a fan of CTF in multiplayer games: Tribes 2 especially but also UT, Halo (only played the first one though) and the one in TF2, of course. I'm also a big fan of co-op modes and therefore looking forward to Diablo 3 quite a bit.

We moved when I was about 3 years old. And it was necessary really. It wasn't a fun experience for any of us, since I shared room with my two older sisters. I usually got kicked out of the room by them, so I'd resort to yelling and kicking the door as hard as I could. This happened a lot. Must've driven my parents crazy. I don't remember much of the actual move though other than me truckin around all the big boxes in my blue plastic car. I was also very upset about something which I can't remember. We moved to a much bigger house in a very nice neighborhood - we also got our separate rooms etc. We've lived here for over 17 years now, and both my sisters have moved out and I'm planning to as well as soon as I'm done with school (hopefully earlier).

Okay I retract what I said earlier. This game is awful. It was definitely not meant for PC, the graphics is laughable, and like previously mentioned the AI is really bad.
-
It's an EP. I pre-ordered it a few months ago so the cover is signed by the band, which was the main reason I specifically pre-ordered it since I missed their signing session at Sweden Rock.
-
It also has the swell benefit of making you sound like a sensible person instead of a little child.

What ever happened to just typing "haha" or "hehe" to show that you find something amusing. Extend with a few extra "ha"s depending on how funny you perceive it.

I wasn't joking though. He actually did say that rape is not that bad. good luck on the job interview ZoX

Apparently the game feels very incomplete, and a lot like a kids' game. The stuff we saw on that game convention 3 years ago is more or less exactly what the game is now. Makes one wonder what they did all those years. Also, they decided to remove a lot of the cool stuff we saw back then, which has landed a lot of game nerds very pissed at Mr. Wright.

Don't mention that you think rape is fine.

'That 70's Show' is absolute rubbish as well. I don't get how it's become so popular.

I absolutely love it. If it had the adblock feature I'd definitely use it instead of Firefox, since the new Firefox is pretty damn annoying. It's simple, clean and really damn fast. I like the way tabs work, the "most visited websites" feature and how you can load additional websites upon browser startup. Can't wait for the official release, and the surge of extensions that will come with it.
