  1. The point with my post, though, was that it's a silly thing to get annoyed about. It's a phrase said as common courtesy, like "excuse me," etc. The phrase "do you mind me asking a question?" requires a simple yes or no answer, whereas the actual question probably requires a much more extensive one. Yup, I need sleep.
  2. My ninja editing skills are unmatched. edit: didn't save me from looking like a fool though. Hmpf.
  3. Response: You've already asked me a question. Then, when they start again, you interrupt saying, "Yes, you've already asked one, and most people would think that clears them to ask yet another question, simply because they got away with the first. There's really no grounds for thinking you can go ahead because you're an idiot and asked a question about asking questions, so I don't see why you think you could ask the question you wanted to ask before. In short, no, you can't ask a question, and for foolishly asking a question you are unable to, you will be strapped to a chair and bludgeoned repeatedly with a claw hammer". If you can lengthen the response, great, the more drawn-out it is, the better. The key is to drone on and on and end with the violent threat, they don't see it coming. Or see if you can just get them to leave while you're talking. Heh, yes that would indubitably be quite the burn, good sir. I have to ask though, do you say the "response" part? Because that's the only way this would merely stay at borderline "pretentious jerk", and not at "full blown passive-aggressive MELTDOWN". But I take comfort in the fact that this is a fakepost, since no one can be this dim. edit: i cant read apparently
  4. Nobody does, it's just people speculating. On a slightly different note, I just watched the gameplay video in HD, and oh my GOD This is going to utterly obliterate my life.
  5. After having watched the gameplay video, read through the FAQ, infos and forum posts -- I am hundred percent positive that this is going to be the best game ever made. Holy [cabbage]. Wall of [bleep]ing ZOMBIES!
  6. Hey Daan, I assumed you had a long list of awesome RnB songs that you were just aching to post. :(
  7. I admit though, if they decided to make a new Lost Vikings game I'd squeal like a little girl.
  8. Like the rest of the internet population (well, most of it), I'm hoping for a Diablo III announcement. Gotta say though, I love them for the hype they manage to create each time. So yup, pretty excited!
  9. I don't hate it, I'd just rather listen to literally anything else whenever it's played anywhere near my vicinity. But yeah, the Usher stuff... all the new RnB "hit" songs the major record labels churn out each week. I don't know exactly how far back RnB goes, but I remember it being quite old (1900+?), so I bet it was alright somewhere down that timeline. Way down. But if anybody thinks they know some great RnB songs feel free to direct me to said songs' youtubes. Another music style I can't stand are all those new watered-down "metal" bands that's all the rage nowadays. They're always fronted by some dreamy-looking guy, and he always sounds like the guy from Nickelback, or stupider. And it's always played over guitars with the volume and gain knobs on MAX, and the guy strums up-down, up-down over and over until he occasionally changes to another powerchord; rince and repeat. Takida and Hinder are two bands like that which springs to mind. What's the attraction?
  10. Actually, I was thinking of bluegrass. Country is awful except for Johnny Cash.
  11. I like some country, I like some rap, I like some pop, I like some electronic music, but for the life of me I can't get into R&B. So I guess you can say I can't stand R&B because whenever I hear it a piece of my soul literally dies. R&B made me into the heartless cynic person I am today. :(
  12. Gluing carpet to your genitals does not make you a cantaloupe.
  13. This will be a "post your favourite album" thread in disguise. Case in point: the OP. To contribute: I like it because it is a mesmerizing lady and the red background looks cool. EDIT: All Tip.It rules apply!
  14. Well, you forgot to mention a few series that's on my to-see list. From your list I only really follow two. edit: oh I missed Criminal Minds.
  15. Heroes, Life, The Office (US), Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Penn & Teller: [cabbage].
  16. I got that achievement done months ago though. I tend to play medic 80% of the time, and the server I play on is (usually) very high-tempo. :P Only 3 more achievements to go until Milestone 3 now. So close.
  17. Btw, my Steam nick is Hagel. Just message me if you want to work on some achievements.
  18. Nice one. All the achievement servers I've seen are password protected... and for pyros. I don't care much for pyros.
  19. How about a few of us from the Steam TIF group get together and get some achievements done? I'm interested in getting to Milestone 3 as a Medic if that's possible. Anybody interested? I think 4 people on each team should be enough, so 8 people all in all.
  20. Glyder - Glyder Glyder - Playground For Life UFO - Phenomenon
  21. GetVegas. The best unsigned band I've ever heard. Also Glyder. Saw them live at Sweden Rock and they were brilliant. The closest thing you can come to Thin Lizzy nowadays.
  22. Just saying, if you find 20 guys staring at your "wang" then you're obviously doing something to attract attention to it. So you've either dyed your pubes hot pink or you're going around shoving it in other peoples' faces. Either one makes you a douche. Anyway, I can't believe I forgot about Johan. Also went in my class all through high school. Now this kid really didn't have much going for him: very skinny, big nose, ridiculous haircut, his face reminded you of a weasel, quite stupid, and even though his parents were rich he would always come to school wearing these advertisement t-shirts that he probably got for free. He was also obsessed with anything military, he was actually in some sort of "club"..., I think it was the National Home Guard or something (but for kids?). I dunno. Anyway, to add to his misfortune he didn't appear to have matured a day over age 12... he would always do some stupid [cabbage] during classes that annoyed everyone. I almost punched him in the face on at least one occasion simply because he would not stop when asked to -- really annoying. And he never knew when to shut the hell up, and would make dumb comments on everything. He would also hang after "our group" quite a lot, simply because we were the only ones who somewhat acknowledged him when he said "hi!" in the corridor (he greeted basically everyone, even the ones who had thrown him into lockers or blocked the door to the bathroom when he was inside). I think it dawned on him later though that we didn't really like him either, some of us just wanted to make his school-time a bit easier by being courteous to him. Luckily he later got to know some kids that were a lot like himself, so we didn't have to deal with him as much. No idea what he does now actually, but he hardly ever came to school the last year so I'm guessing he's working on improving his grade in one of those municipal adult education programs.
  23. I have no idea what a Chorizo is, enlighten me. :( Spicy sausage. It is delicious with potato salad.
